Hi,
This is Lacey Young,
And this is a meditation on abundance that I created for myself and have had tremendous shifts and peace as a result of using it.
It's one you'll want to use often.
Maybe you listen every day for a week or every day for 30 days and notice the change that comes in your life.
So take a breath,
Close your eyes,
And come into your most comfortable seated position.
Make sure that your spine is nice and straight.
And take some long breaths in and long exhales,
Aiming to match the duration of time that you breathe in and breathe out.
You can count to yourself,
1,
2,
3,
And out,
1,
2,
3.
And now scan your body from head to toe as you continue to breathe deeply,
Releasing any tension,
Any tightness,
Any holding on.
When you hear the words in meditation,
Go within,
Go into the stillness,
Get quiet,
It simply means that you allow yourself to pass from the outside world of a lot of stimulation and thoughts to the inside world of rhythmic breathing,
Of a peaceful feeling inside your body,
And that when you get into that space,
You then become ready to do the real work in the meditation.
And as you practice your meditations,
Dropping into that space will become easier and easier.
Just continuing to let your body relax,
Paying attention to your breathing.
Open your heart,
Open your mind,
And allow your body to receive.
And now in your mind's eye,
Picture three large tubes,
They're metal,
They're meant to carry water,
And these three large tubes dump into a beautiful lake.
And the lake is representative of you,
Of your health,
Your vitality,
Your abundance.
And when you look at the lake,
You can get a really good idea of how you're doing.
Notice the surroundings,
Paint the picture in your mind.
Ideally,
Your lake is a fertile place,
A beautiful place.
The air is clean,
There are living things in the water and on the land around the water.
And when you see it,
You are overwhelmed by its beauty,
And you feel deep connection with this water and this land.
So take stock,
Notice how you're doing by looking at your lake.
Notice how you're feeling in your body now.
And just allow your mind to continue to paint this picture,
And to continue to allow this lake to be you,
And to be representative of you.
Now the three tubes,
Can you see them?
They're all lined up in a row,
Touching each other,
And they're huge.
You could walk inside of it,
With your arms stretched out as far as they go,
And you wouldn't touch the sides,
Your head wouldn't touch the ceiling.
These tubes bring water to fill your lake,
To bring more health,
More vitality,
More abundance,
More confidence,
More knowing.
Each tube is either flowing,
Trickling,
Or completely dry.
One is representative of lack,
One is representative of scarcity,
And one of fear.
As long as water is flowing through them,
You know that the energy channels are literally open,
And you are not letting lack,
Scarcity,
Fear,
Interfere with the things that are your birthright.
Joy is your birthright,
Happiness,
Abundance.
You already are all of these things,
But sometimes,
Something blocks the path.
So look now to the tubes,
And concentrate on the one that is lack.
Is it flowing?
Is there a trickle of water?
Is it completely dry?
And just continue to breathe,
Feel your body,
And allow yourself to go into inquiry,
What do I believe about lack?
Am I afraid there's never enough?
Am I afraid that health,
Happiness,
And abundance aren't meant for me?
And as you allow yourself to inquire,
And to listen to your body,
Notice with each breath you clear something,
And the water picks up in the tube,
Until it's just rushing and gushing,
And overflowing into your lake,
And you feel a sense of gratitude,
Of awe,
And of excitement.
There's so much water flowing forth that there's literally no room for lack to survive.
And then you move to scarcity,
And you inquire,
Am I in scarcity?
Am I walking around in my life,
Feeling like there's not enough,
There's never going to be enough?
There's not enough in the world,
And there's certainly not enough for me.
Notice how you feel around scarcity.
Are the sensations very similar to lack,
Or does this bring up a whole other set of circumstances for you?
Continue to breathe,
Continue to focus on that tube.
And you may see water come from a trickle,
Increasing speed and pressure and amount.
And just stay with the breath until the tube is completely flowing.
And now both lack and scarcity are flowing,
And there's no room for them to exist.
And finally,
Fear.
The tube for fear is the same size as the other two,
But somehow it feels bigger,
More profound.
And with your breath in,
Allow flashes of images,
Of words,
Of sensations to come across your mind.
What are you afraid of?
What are you afraid of?
What are you afraid of?
Do you live in fear that you're going to get sick?
That your partner will die before you?
That you might lose your job?
That you'll never be thin or fit or strong?
That you'll never get a hold of this eating thing?
And you'll spend the rest of your life binging?
Are you afraid that there isn't enough money for you?
That your dream job doesn't exist,
Or you could never get it?
Fear is an all-encompassing thing,
And it can flatten us out before we've ever had a chance to truly shine.
Give yourself permission to breathe through the fear,
To start to see the water flowing and all of the fears just crumbling.
They get swept up in the water.
They dissolve and disappear in the water.
And just continue breathing and feeling and visualizing until all three tubes are flowing so strong,
So powerful,
So magnificently.
And you notice the lake has risen,
The birds are flying,
Fish are jumping,
And you can truly sense your blessings.
You can sense your abundance.
You can feel happiness,
Contentment,
Joy.
Stay with this image now.
Work with your tubes.
Work with the vision of your lake.
See if you can tap into the sounds of the water.
Hear the birds chirping.
See squirrels running from tree to tree.
Really spend time in this space.
Know that joy and abundance are your birthright,
That you are perfect health.
That everything is happening in perfect timing for you.
That this work of self-improvement is for something.
That meditation will help to further your dreams,
Will help you to learn to create in a way that is undeniable.
And so as you take a breath in,
Bring one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly and connect to this precious body of yours.
And tell it,
Thank you.
I love you.
Feel your soft tummy under your hand.
Feel your chest under your hand.
Thank you.
I love you.
You're here on purpose.
You are in perfect timing.
And all is very,
Very.
Stay with the breath.
Stay with the image.
And then when you're ready,
You can take a series of three breaths,
Memorizing the feelings that you've created during this time.
Seeing the water flowing.
Knowing that stagnation is a thing of the past.
You don't stay stuck.
You couldn't possibly.
You can't not be changed in this process.
Trust that as you simply show up,
Breathe,
Sit,
And allow the images in your mind.
Change is happening.
Your purpose is being revealed.
And there will be threads that start to come together in ways that surprise you,
Delight you,
And show you that this is real.
And one more time,
Thank you.
I love you.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
And go forth into your day or night.
