Welcome to this guided meditation in which you prepare yourself for a beautiful night of sleep and you unwind from today.
As you make yourself comfortable.
Let your body sink into the surface beneath you.
There is nothing left to do,
Nowhere else to be.
This time is simply for you.
So take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And gently breathe out.
Let's do that one more time.
Breathe in.
And slowly breathe out.
Bring your breath back to its natural rhythm.
And allow your body to soften just a little bit more.
Now bring your awareness to the top of your head.
And notice if you're holding any tension there.
And if you are invited to soften.
Relax your forehead.
Soften the muscles around your eyes.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your shoulders and your arms,
Your hands.
Your chest.
Allow your belly to soften.
Relax your hips.
Your legs,
Your feet.
Your entire body.
Becomes a little heavier.
And a little calmer.
With every breath.
Now take a moment to think back over your day.
Not to analyze it or to judge it.
But simply to acknowledge it.
Whatever today looked like.
You made it here.
You did enough and you are enough.
Perhaps there was one small moment today that brought you joy.
A smile,
A kind conversation.
A cup of tea.
The sound of birds.
Whatever it was.
Allow that one small moment of joy to come into your awareness.
And notice how even the smallest moments can become anchors of gratitude.
Now think of one thing you did well today.
It doesn't have to be anything extraordinary.
Maybe you just showed up.
Or you rest it when you need it to.
Maybe you kept going when things felt difficult.
Whatever it was for you.
Take a moment to acknowledge yourself.
So often we just notice what we didn't do.
But tonight.
Choose to notice what you did.
And as this day comes to an end,
Imagine placing the day gently on a shelf.
Not to throw it away or to hold on to it.
But just to allow it.
To rest there.
Because tomorrow will bring new opportunities.
New conversations,
New experiences.
But right now There is nothing you need to prepare for.
The only thing you need to do right now is to rest.
Take another slow,
Deep breath in.
And when you exhale,
Feel a little bit more.
Relaxation.
A little bit more stillness.
A little bit more rest.
Take one final,
Slow,
Gentle breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
Allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.
And as my voice soon begins to fade,
Give yourself permission to drift into a deep and restful sleep.
Knowing that tomorrow is a brand new beginning.
Have a beautiful night.
And thank you for meditating with me.
