I'm Valérie and in today's episode,
I want to share five practical ways to shift your mindset.
You know,
As conscious entrepreneurs,
We know that our state of mind shapes everything,
Our decision,
Our creativity and the way we respond to challenges.
And yet,
When we are overwhelmed,
Stuck or in the weeds,
It's easy to feel like we can't find the right solution.
And Einstein said it perfectly,
We cannot solve a problem with the same level of thinking that created it.
So,
How do we change our mindset to see new possibilities?
Here are five simple ways that I use and that you can try too.
So,
The first one is develop curiosity.
Curiosity is a powerful mindset shift.
It invites us to explore behind what's familiar and discover new perspectives.
So,
You can try to read a book or an article about a topic that doesn't naturally interest you,
Watch a documentary or listen to someone whose views challenge your own.
This one is tricky.
And it works because it stimulates your brain to create new neuronal paths.
This is neuroplasticity in action,
Actually.
By stepping outside your comfort zone,
You open yourself to unexpected ideas and solutions.
Curiosity isn't about agreeing with everything,
It's about expanding your vision.
Second,
You can observe your thoughts.
Our thoughts often hold us back without us even realizing it.
And so,
Pause and observe.
Take a deep breath,
Notice your thoughts.
If that feels difficult,
Observe the emotion behind the thought or even the physical reaction in your body.
And it works because when you bring awareness to your internal dialogue,
You create space.
In that space,
You can choose to let go of unhelpful thoughts and allow new ones to emerge,
And actual presence creates clarity.
The third one is to change your perspective.
Sometimes,
All we need is to look at the situation from a new angle.
What you can try is the Walt Disney method.
So,
You imagine sitting in three different chairs.
The first one is a dreamer.
So,
In this chair,
You envision what's the best,
The most creative solution you can imagine.
Then you take place in the realist.
And how can you bring this idea to life step by step?
So,
It's really here that you set up your plan.
And finally,
The critic.
What could go wrong?
And how can you adjust or improve the plan?
And by switching perspectives,
You open up new ways of thinking.
So,
Let me know how it is.
The fourth one,
Practice meditation or stillness.
So,
Meditation doesn't have to take hours.
Just a few minutes can shift your state of mind.
Close your eyes,
Focus on your breath.
The secret here is your breath.
And allow yourself just to be.
Notice the sensation in your body without judgment.
It works,
Creates space for clarity and allows intuition to surface.
Regular practice helps you to stay grounded even in the middle of the chaos.
What you can try is try to meditate or pay attention in a station hall or in the train or,
You know,
Somewhere that is not still and so that you really can improve.
And the last one that I want to share with you is move your body.
Physical movement is one of the fastest ways to change your mindset.
Find what works for you.
For example,
A short walk,
Dancing to your favorite song.
I love this one.
Stretching or an activity you enjoy.
So,
And for me,
Swimming is very,
Very helpful.
And if I cannot,
I dance.
Movement releases endorphins and shifts stock energy,
Which helps your mind relax and refocus.
When I feel blocked,
I often put a song that makes me smile.
Something from Coldplay,
Bob Marley or Marvin Gaye.
And yes,
I just let myself move.
These are five tools I use.
So,
Curiosity,
Observing your thoughts,
Changing perspective,
Meditation and movement.
It's simple ways,
But powerful ways to shift your mindset.
So,
Take a moment and ask yourself,
Which one of these five tools speaks the most to me today?
What small step can I take to shift my mindset right now and find new possibilities?
