You will easily quiet your mind, letting go of the events from the day. You may sleep deeply with recollection of your dreams. Waking up in the morning refreshed and ready to have a wonderful day full of gratitude.

Meditation for bedtime.

As you lay down inside your warm,

Comfortable bed,

Allowing your body to surrender and relax,

Feeling the support of the mattress beneath you,

Allowing your breath to be easy,

Noticing the rise and fall of your chest with each breath as you relax deeper and deeper,

Allow your mind to be free or filled with thoughts of gratitude,

Acknowledging the way you spent your day,

The ebbs and flows,

The ups and downs,

Just notice,

Filling your heart with gratitude for the experiences that you've created,

Allow your mind to quiet,

Your body to soften,

Bringing all of your energy into this moment,

Maybe you gather up your energy from the task that you did earlier this morning during the day,

Maybe you left some energy behind at work or with family,

Friends,

Just gently pull it back in,

Back into the center of your body,

And then also allow any energy that may have attached to you throughout the day to just gently be absorbed by the earth,

Clearing the space around your body,

Your energy,

Allowing yourself to be almost thoughtless in a space of complete peace and contentment.

Notice if you can find some thoughts of gratitude,

Gratitude for the experiences that you may have had,

Gratitude for just being comfortable in your own bed,

Your own space.

Each night before you sleep,

Allow yourself to take just a few moments to find the comfort,

The peace,

And the calmness,

Thanking yourself for whatever may have happened,

Good or bad,

Knowing that you are divinely guided,

So no matter where this life takes you,

There's a sense of peace behind it all.

Feel the heaviness of your body as you prepare for a deep,

Restful night of sleep,

Feel the weightlessness of relaxation and the heaviness of that relaxation,

Giving permission to surrender,

Letting go,

Allowing your energy to just be absorbed from the earth beneath you.

Maybe your eyelids feel heavy as you prepare for sleep,

Maybe your breath is slow,

Your heart rate calm,

Your body peaceful.

Allow yourself to drift off into sleep,

Deep,

Deep,

Relaxing,

Healing sleep,

Allowing your body to reset,

Repair,

And heal for the days to come.
