Welcome to 5 minutes Ajikkan meditation.
Ajikkan meditation is based on Indian yoga and is a meditation practice of Shikon Buddhism in Japan.
It's one of the easy ways to practice meditation.
In this meditation,
We will be mainly practicing the verbal technique of Ajikkan.
So let's begin.
In the next 2 minutes,
We will be breathing in through our nose and voicing out ah sound like this.
Breathe in and then ah until you need to breathe in again.
With such verbal vibration,
We can cleanse our mind and body.
During the practice,
You may notice we have different pace during the verbal practicing.
That's absolutely fine and you can feel free to go at your own pace while I'm doing mine.
Try to focus at your own pace.
Don't worry if you have a pause or lost the track.
Simply start again with breathing in through the nose.
When you are ready,
Please sit comfortably and take a deep breath.
Breathe in through our nose.
Breathe out through our mouth.
Breathe in through our nose.
Breathe out through our mouth.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Now close your eyes and start the verbal practice.
Breathe in.
Ah.
Ah.
And after things flip around,
When you are ready,
Open your eyes slowly.
How do you feel after this breathing exercise?
Did you fall asleep?
Don't forget to drink some water after the exercise and stay hydrated.
Thank you and see you next time.
