Hi and welcome.
Welcome to the second of your seven chakra meditations in rewiring your nervous system.
The second center,
The sacral chakra is located in the area of your lower belly,
Deep within the pelvic bowl,
About three fingers below your navel.
It is your center for personal power and passion.
Before we begin to deeply tune into this vortex of energy below your navel,
Please find a comfortable seat,
Crossing your legs into your lap.
You may be sitting on the ground,
Propped up against a sofa cushion.
You can sit on your bed or even on a chair.
And as you're settling down,
Let your center of gravity sink deep down into the bowl of your pelvis,
Allowing your breath to move freely,
Allowing your body to soften on the exhale,
Allow the belly to soften.
Your sacral center governs your sensation.
It is the master generator of your own personal essence.
It is the center of personal desire,
Of your ability to create.
And it is responsible for all of your essential and sexual energy.
It concerns itself with your relationships and your capacity for intimacy.
It concerns itself with your capacity to move out of survival and into a state of pleasure and purpose.
I'm just allowing that to settle in for a moment.
Allow your breath to be completely uninhibited.
Your sacral center governs your reproductive organs,
Your spleen,
Your kidneys,
Your lower vertebra,
Hips and pelvis,
Your bladder,
Appendix,
Large intestine,
And your adrenal glands.
It is associated with the color orange and the element of water and fluidity.
It is the center of your own resourcefulness,
Of your personal power and passion.
It is also your center for physical,
Visceral,
Or a feeling sense for intuition,
A gut feeling.
It is your personal creative energy to bring anything forth that you desire.
And the really important element in allowing this chakra to be open,
Allowing it to be expressive and free,
And to nourish it is to allow yourself to want,
To allow yourself to desire,
And to express those desires.
It is the generating creative force right at your core,
Seeded into the bowl of your pelvis.
And just feeling into that for a moment,
Allowing your breath to be completely natural,
Allowing your breath to move and extend down into the space below the navel,
Deep down into the pelvic bowl.
The center concerns itself with your relationship patterns and your relationship to power and personal power.
It invites you to tune into the reality of interdependence,
To accept that you are an interdependent part of the world around you,
Of the people that you interact with,
Of the relationships that you cultivate and nourish.
The center also invites you to live a life in alignment with yourself.
It invites you to feel and sense and experience this world.
It invites you to be impulsive at times,
To be completely uninhibited,
And to follow your spontaneity and sense for adventure.
It invites you to soften,
To play,
And to take in the world with all of your senses,
To smell,
To touch,
To feel,
To taste,
To listen,
And to feel the joy at your core.
And just tuning into that for another moment,
Allowing your breath to be completely uninhibited,
Feeling into the area at your lower belly,
Feeling into the space below the navel,
Deep down within the pelvic bowl,
And resting in the lap of the divine,
Resting into the arms of the infinite,
Resting into and acknowledging all parts of you,
Allowing yourself to be spontaneous and free,
Allowing the breath to move freely,
Allowing the body to be soft and relaxed,
Allowing your being to rest in its natural essence,
In your personal power,
In your joy,
And in your capacity for creation.
And feeling into this for just one moment longer,
Embodying,
Embody your joy,
Embody your pleasure,
Embody your desires and your wants,
Embodying this generating force at your core.
Take a moment to feel your entire body,
Feel your skin,
Your soft breath,
Your face,
And gently closing your practice,
Moving out into the rest of your day,
Connected to your very personal power.
Namaste.
