Take a comfortable seat or lie down.

Settle into the sensation of your body resting on the earth,

Slowly bringing your attention into your feet,

Legs,

Pelvis,

Spine,

Shoulders,

Neck,

And head.

Take a deep inhale now through the nose,

Letting it out with a sigh.

Notice any tension or discomfort in your body and gently soften into these sensations if you can.

Next,

Bring your awareness into your emotions and acknowledge any emotions you may be feeling in this moment.

Now bring your attention to your mind and thoughts,

Noticing any thoughts that may have been asking for your attention.

Slowly let go of each thought as if you are erasing the whiteboard of your mind.

Inhale and exhale again with a sigh,

Releasing any further tension into the earth.

Now we will begin a guided visualization,

And I invite you to allow yourself to flow with images,

Thoughts,

And feelings as they arise.

Become aware of your heart center now,

Noticing whether you feel a sensation of energy,

The pulse of your heart,

Or if you perceive light,

Or if you feel the emotion of love.

If you notice any strong emotions arising,

You can take a few breaths now to allow these waves to pass.

You can even pause the recording here if you need to.

Now allow the light,

Love,

And energy in your heart center to expand,

Letting it grow as big as it wants to,

Creating a safe bubble around you.

Now breathe and relax in this bubble of light and loving energy.

Now I invite you to imagine a flower bud in the center of your heart.

Allow its color,

Fragrance,

And shape to come into your awareness.

As you continue to breathe,

We will now open the petals of this flower bud one by one.

The first petal to open is unconditional love.

As it opens,

Feel yourself suffused in pure,

Ever-present love.

The second petal to open is gentleness.

As it opens,

Feel your whole body softening in gentle comfort.

The third petal to open is safety.

As it opens,

Allow yourself to release all defenses and tension in your body,

Emotions,

And mind.

The fourth petal to open is vulnerability.

As it opens,

Feel yourself to be safe,

Open,

And curious.

The fifth petal to open is vibrancy.

As it opens,

Feel a bright,

Joyful energy radiating from your heart into your whole body and aura.

The sixth petal to open is peace.

As you visualize this petal opening,

A wave of calm suffuses your whole being.

The seventh and final petal to open is knowing.

As this petal gradually unfurls,

So too does a deep,

Reassuring sense of knowing that all is well and that you are of the divine.

I invite you now to return to the sound of my voice and to the awareness of your heart center.

Gradually begin to bring your heart's energy back into your body.

Notice where your body is in space.

Become aware of the floor or your chair.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take a deep breath now and gently open your eyes.
