For this meditation,
I invite you to find a candle and place it in front of you.
And if you don't have one,
Simply visualize it in your space.
Finding a comfortable seated position,
Begin by lighting your candle.
Take a moment to watch the flame come alive.
Let your eyes gently rest on it.
Breathing in deeply through your nose,
And exhaling with a sigh.
Allow yourself to settle into this space,
Letting go of the day and being present in the now.
Continue watching the flame.
See how it dances and moves.
How it flickers,
Leans,
And pulses with its own rhythm.
Let your eyes naturally soften as you take it all in.
Notice how the flame shifts in intensity,
Sometimes growing,
Sometimes shrinking.
Feel its energy,
And recognize its connection to your own inner fire,
The spark of creation and vitality within you.
Now gently close your eyes and bring the image of the flame inward.
Picture it glowing inside you.
See how it flows naturally,
Rising and falling,
Growing and flickering,
Just as it did before.
Now take a moment to scan your body.
Where do you feel heavy or in need of light?
Where does the element of fire,
The energy of creation and transformation want to go?
Send your inner flame to those places.
Imagine the light softening any tension or heaviness.
Let it fill those spaces with warmth and clarity and renewal.
With each breath,
Notice the light within you growing stronger.
As you inhale,
The flame gets brighter.
As you exhale,
Feel it settle and remain steady.
Now on your next inhale,
Imagine the light expanding beyond your body,
Filling the space around you with a golden glow.
Feel yourself embraced by this light.
Let it remind you of your own inner strength and the power of rebirth.
Know that this light is always here when you need it.
And whenever you're ready,
Slowly opening your eyes and returning your gaze to the candle before you.
