Starting with your eyes closed,
Allow your body to settle into stillness and taking a deep breath in,
Filling your belly with air,
Holding it at the top and exhaling through your mouth.
Taking another deep breath in,
Holding it at the top and releasing with a sigh,
Bringing your awareness to the center of your chest,
To your heart space.
Imagine a green glowing light.
This area represents love,
Compassion,
Connection.
With each breath you take,
Imagine this green light growing brighter and brighter,
Expanding with each exhale,
Completely surrounding your body in a cocoon of love.
Feel your heart opening,
Allowing love and compassion to flow freely in and out,
Letting go of any resistance or tension you may be holding onto.
Allow yourself to be in the present moment.
Bring to mind someone or something that brings you great joy and happiness.
Someone or something that fills your heart with gratitude.
Hold this image in your mind and feel the warmth and love that it brings to your heart as you continue to focus on the feeling of love and gratitude.
