This is a short practice for when you are in pain right now,

Whether it's emotional,

Physical,

Spiritual or mental.

We are going to drop into a state of compassionate presence,

A nurturing presence and we'll start by becoming aware of what you feel right now,

Starting to gently move closer to it,

Using your breath as an anchor when it gets really tough and realizing that the second that you lean into the discomfort is when it starts to dissolve,

When it starts to have less and less power over you,

Everything else falls away the moment you are with your experience,

Not distracting yourself from it,

Not resisting it but actually diving into it,

Feeling it and as you are feeling it,

You are not feeling it so that it will leave,

There is no hidden agenda,

There is only love,

There is a soft,

Compassionate presence for our body that's in pain or our mind that's in pain or any emotion,

Any part inside of us that needs some nurturing right now.

Can you send it some love?

Can you send the rambling thoughts,

The physical pain,

The heavy emotion,

Can you send it your love?

Can you hold it and embrace it tightly,

Letting it know that you are there for them,

You are listening and you know and feel their pain,

You are not going anywhere and you love them so,

So,

So deeply,

Take a deep breath in and exhale,

Take another deep breath in and exhale and if you can,

Wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a big and tight hug,

Sending oceans and oceans of love to you right now,

Thank you so much for showing up today,

I'm so,

So,

So proud of you.

Thank you as Always. This was helpful as you know I'm healing from my emergency teeth extractions. I see as just being with the pain it did dissolve. I am going to listen to a few times or as needed . Thank you. I will talk soon. I recommend anyone in pain of any type to listen to this .
