Get Unstuck
by Angela Rose
I know how it feels to feel stuck. Like your spinning on a hamster wheel and can't get off. It's depressing. You feel like your never going to see results. We think we need to know what outcome before we even start something. That's not how the universe works. The universe just wants us to take one small baby step towards it. The universe wants us to meet it halfway. If you have a dream it is meant for you. You were not born to settle.

Hey guys,
Thanks for joining me.
Today's episode is all about how to get unstuck and see results.
So here are some tips for you.
But first,
I just want you to know how much I know the hopeless feeling we can have when we're not seeing results.
It feels like,
We ask ourselves,
Am I even meant for my dream?
Is my dream even possible?
And I know how that feels when we don't see the results.
And sometimes we get in our own way by thinking we need to have it all figured out.
And trust me,
Even the top people who are making it,
Who are those influencers and who we know their household names,
They don't even know sometimes how things are going to turn out.
The thing that I've learned is to take baby steps.
To take one baby step,
One step at a time,
One day at a time.
That's it.
Sometimes it's as simple as getting off the couch.
I'll share with you one time what really helped me when I was feeling really hopeless,
Not knowing what direction to go into.
I opened my phone and I remember Abraham Hick saying,
Just get inspired.
Just take your mind off of what you're thinking about if you're thinking negative.
Take your mind off it.
So I remember she talked about Pinterest and Abraham Hicks,
She's talking about going on Pinterest.
And sometimes that's what we need to do when we're feeling low,
Which we will,
The highs go in highs and lows.
We don't feel high all the time.
We do hit those lows.
And that's my friend where inspiration comes from.
So on that day I got on Pinterest following Abraham Hicks orders when I was feeling low and I started to feel inspired.
I was looking at pictures.
I was looking at do it yourself pictures.
And I thought,
I want to do this.
So I gathered up all my energy.
I was still my pajamas,
My hair in a messy bun,
No makeup,
Glasses,
Threw on a hat.
And I went into Michaels and I bought tons of things for this craft project that I was inspired to do.
And that got me inspired.
That got me off the couch.
So what will get you off the couch or putting one foot in front of the other?
Because we can have lots of ideas,
But without follow through,
Without action,
They will never take place.
There's someone I follow and I can't remember his name right now.
He talked about the richest place in the world being the graveyard.
There are so many people who have passed away with million dollar ideas,
World saving ideas,
Golden ideas,
And they've never taken that action.
So we will never know.
And I believe if it's on your heart,
It's meant for you.
Action is the only way to move forward and to see the results.
We get unstuck by taking action.
How many times have we,
Have you had ideas and we don't take action that actually makes us feel more stuck because we have all these ideas and we're not doing anything about it.
And we think about it.
Then we feel guilty.
We feel like,
Oh man,
I should be doing this.
And we just choose not to because maybe we're afraid.
It's scary showing up for your life.
It's scary trying new things.
It's like painting on a blank canvas.
So many times I feel inspired to paint and I'm sitting in front of that blank canvas afraid to mess it up.
Have you ever bought a pretty journal and we're afraid to actually write in it?
Like I buy these beautiful journals and sometimes I'm almost afraid to get it messy.
We're afraid to get things messy,
But that's what draws us to each other.
That vulnerability,
That rawness,
That authenticness in each one of us,
The people that I love so much,
They show me that side of them and I show them that side of me.
That's what we love.
That's what we crave.
Don't be afraid to be messy.
Get messy.
Mess up that journal.
Mess up that canvas.
You can buy another one if it doesn't work out.
Just like this recording,
I'm doing all of these recordings,
Not editing them,
Just closing my eyes and letting my heart speak.
And I tell myself if I can choose not to publish it or I can choose to publish it,
We have a choice,
But we'll never see any kind of results without taking action.
It will lead to huge change.
Like I said,
You don't need to know the whole outcome.
We usually don't.
It usually actually turns out way better than we could even expect.
You just need to take one inspired baby step,
One step at a time.
And for you,
Maybe that means just sitting up in your bed,
Maybe taking a shower,
Maybe just standing outside taking three deep breaths of fresh air.
And if you're listening to this,
I want you to know that you were meant for more.
We were not born in this world to settle.
Even if you don't feel it,
It's true.
Sometimes we can lie to ourself.
Fear creeps in,
Tells us these stories that aren't true.
I myself experience it and I know many others who have.
But trust in your calling.
Trust in the little nudges that are saying,
You have this idea.
You have this idea.
Don't give up on yourself.
And I,
And I guarantee you,
Your soul won't give up on you either.
If you keep getting those ideas,
It's because it's meant for you.
Trust in the process.
All you need to know is what is the next best thing I can do for myself right now?
I hope this message serves you today.
And I hope,
And my challenge for you is to take one messy baby step today.
What is one,
Just one messy baby step you can take?
I would love to hear what that is.
If you know someone who needs to hear this message,
Please share this with them.
Because I know what it feels like to feel hopeless.
But again,
We were not meant to settle.
You were meant for more.
And part of uncovering your purpose is taking action on those inspired ideas you have.
Show up messy.
The world actually does love messy.
It loves real.
It loves being authentic.
And the world is waiting for you to shine your light.
I believe in you,
My friend.
Keep shining.

I related SO much to the examples of fear in “messing up” blank canvases and pretty journals - this has happened to me so many times. It’s terrible and irrational and I know it, but can’t move past it. Loved this talk and will try to do something messy to get over this hump. Thank you 🙏

This was such an inspiring talk! I loved the statement: "if it's on your heart, it's meant for you." I intend to listen to this again the next time that I need motivation to take that next step forward.

An insightful short talk about what it takes to begin getting unstuck. It's been a long time since I've felt overwhelm to the point of shutdown. When that happens, sometimes I get caught in a cycle of overwhelm/shutdown b/c I forget what it takes to Get Unstuck. I can't thank you enough for sharing this 🙏💚

We can never have enough reminders like this, social media portrays life as perfect, it’s not, yet we have been brainwashed into thinking so. This helped me get one thing done on my to do list, it was messy, but it got done, so I got better I grew today, even if only 1%.

A talk, not a meditation, but inspiring nonetheless.

Thank for those beautiful reminders! I get caught in the trap of constantly supporting others (by trade and just because its who I am) and I often forget to take time for myself....this was a beautiful reminder. Thanks! Stay messy!
