Transcript

This meditation is dedicated to letting go of the past.

There is so much good that is coming your way.

And in order to appreciate those moments,

It is important to let go of the past.

Pick a comfortable posture,

Laying down,

Sitting,

Kneeling,

Or whatever makes you comfortable.

Put your hands on your thighs,

To the side of your thighs,

Or on your belly just below the navel.

When you are ready,

Gently close your eyes.

For this meditation,

You are going to breathe in for three,

And breathe out for three.

If you get distracted,

Or thoughts pop in your mind,

That is normal.

Just focus back on your breath,

And it will bring you back into the present moment.

In this present moment,

I am accepting life and letting go of the past.

As I let go of the past,

New opportunities are coming.

Take a deep breath in,

And take a deep breath out.

When you breathe in,

Welcome all the new,

And when you breathe out,

Let go of the past.

Imagine you are holding a gold balloon.

Take a look at your hand,

And say goodbye either to yourself or out loud as you let go of the balloon.

When you look up at the sky,

The balloon is getting higher and higher.

New moments are coming,

And you have now let go of the past.

Take a deep breath in for three,

And take a deep breath out.

And do this a couple more times on your own.

As you come back to the present moment,

Open your eyes,

And welcome this moment with an open heart and an open mind.

The past is now in the past,

And you are ready to move forward.

Remember,

Yesterday is history,

Tomorrow is a mystery,

But today is a gift.

That is why it is called the present.

This is now the end of your meditation.

I wish you well on your spiritual journeys.

Thank you for guiding me through with the vivid image of the balloon. I didn't have to battle it, I just had to let it go. I did. Thank you!
