Hi there.
Today,
We are going on a journey through the forest of uniqueness.
We're going to try something really special called guided meditation.
It is a way to help your mind and body relax and feel good.
During this exercise,
I will guide you to take some deep breaths and imagine wonderful things in your mind.
It might feel a bit hard to keep your eyes closed at first,
But just trust your heart and let your imagination take over.
Take a deep,
Calming breath in and out.
And as you do,
Imagine all the love and kindness in the world flowing into you.
And with each exhale,
Release your worries and fears.
Let's begin.
Gently close your eyes and take a deep,
Calming breath in and slowly breathe out.
Feel your body start to relax as you continue to breathe in and out.
Imagine a warm,
Gentle light at the top of your head.
As you breathe in,
Let this light slowly spread across your forehead,
Smoothing out any tension.
Breathe out and let the light move down to your eyes,
Cheeks,
And jaw.
And notice how they soften completely.
Take another deep breath in and out.
And now let the warm light travel down to your neck and shoulders.
And notice how this light melts away any tightness.
Feel your arms getting heavy and relaxed as the light flows down to your fingertips.
Breathe in deeply.
And as you breathe out,
Let the light move to your chest and back,
Easing all the muscles there.
Feel the light continue down to your stomach and hips,
Bringing a sense of calm and peace.
Take another deep breath in and out.
And now feel the light move down to your legs,
All the way to your toes.
You can notice your entire body relaxed and at ease.
And as you stay in this calm and relaxed state,
I will count in a descending number from 5 to 1.
With each descending number,
You will feel more relaxed.
When I get to number 1,
You will start a journey into a gentle,
Soothing forest.
In this forest,
You will hear all sounds of nature.

You step in this forest.
And as you walk in,
You hear the rustle of leaves and the friendly chirps of the birds.
Here,
All living things and living beings are welcomed without judgment,
Just as you are.
In front of you,
You can see a sturdy,
Tall tree standing tall.
Imagine yourself as this tall tree.
You are unique yet strong,
Just like this magnificent tree.
As you breathe in,
Feel your roots grounding into the earth.
Notice how your roots give you stability and strength.
Notice how with each breath out,
It lets your branches reach high into the air,
Giving you the freedom to grow and explore.
Notice that in this forest,
You are one with the other trees.
All of them are different yet united in their strength.
Now,
I want you to visualize and imagine a protected bubble around you.
This bubble is going to guard your unique thoughts and allows you to bloom in your own space.
As this bubble begins to open,
You get ready to show your true self to the world.
Knowing that you are not different,
You are unique.
You are not weird,
But exceptional.
As a confident,
Strong tree,
You keep your roots deep in the ground and your branches high in the sky.
You stand firm in your uniqueness and understand that it is this diversity that leads to your strength.
As similarity allows you to blend in the forest,
Your uniqueness allows you to stand tall.
Notice this and breathe deeply once more,
Welcoming each breath with love and acceptance.
And you're going to exhale with the joy and confidence of truly understanding and accepting yourself.
Notice everything in the forest with all your senses.
You notice everything in everyone.
And as you come back to this present moment and you open your eyes,
You feel ready to face the world with your uniqueness,
Like the tree that stands tall with deep roots and branches that reach the sky.
