Welcome to this sleep affirmation practice.

My name is Belinda Matuale and my voice will be guiding you during this practice.

This practice is designed to help you feel deeply entrenched in a positive mindset before bed.

The evenings are a great time for this kind of practice.

As the mind starts to slow down from a busy day,

Our brainwaves start to become slower.

And as we enter into sleep,

We go into hypnagogic states and that is where we are much more receptive to listening to affirmations and positive messaging.

So this is a wonderful way to really prime your mind before sleep and wake up feeling ready to take on a new day.

We'll start this practice sitting up and then we'll continue and move into a laying down position if possible.

So let's start with some breathing first to really help us relax and slow down our brainwaves even further.

I invite you to close down your eyes,

Take a deep nourishing breath in and a long exhale out.

Really allow your exhale to be longer than your inhale,

Completely emptying the lungs and just feel like you are letting go of the entirety of your day.

When you think you've exhaled completely,

I invite you just to see if you can exhale out a little bit more and really rest in the bottom of your breath before allowing the inhale to naturally flow into the body.

When you do breathe in,

Really feel the ribcage muscles and the diaphragm slowly expanding and contracting with each breath.

As you breathe,

Bringing as much sensation as possible to every inhale and exhale and even calling in your awareness to truly marvel at all the intricacies and magic of your body.

All the things that are happening with every inhale and exhale right now.

So from here,

You can slowly start to lay down if that's available to you and keep your eyes closed as much as possible,

Otherwise you can have a downward gaze.

As you lay down here,

Really allowing a feeling of relaxation to spread all over your body.

As you're laying down,

Most of your muscles now don't have any weight to bear.

So just feeling them relax and that you can really let go.

Feeling the surface underneath you supporting you,

Feeling held by that surface.

If you're going to sleep now,

It's the ideal time to pull the covers or a blanket over you and get really comfortable.

And I'm now going to share some affirmations for you to listen to and receive deeply into your body.

So take a deep breath and relax,

Release any anxiety about doing this right.

There is nothing right or wrong here.

You have totally got this.

Remember all the times something good has happened to you.

Something that was so much better than you could have ever dreamed of or hoped for.

Thinking of something that was maybe even super unexpected,

But just pure magic in your life.

Be in that energy frequency now.

Really feel it in your body and feel yourself open to receive even more of that kind of magic.

You're worthy of it.

There's already been evidence of that and really special times in your life.

So always coming back to that frequency of magic and remember that just around the corner,

Life will surprise you with all sorts of wonderful things.

Now,

As I say each affirmation,

I invite you to feel as much of it as you can in your body or stay in the frequency we've just created of wonderful things happening for you.

I let go of my past.

My future is bright.

In this moment,

I have everything I need.

My breath is here to support me.

Something wonderful is on its way to me right now.

My life is precious.

I choose joy.

Things are always working out for me.

I am worthy of good things.

I am capable of amazing things.

I am proud of myself for trying.

I am more calm with each passing breath.

I adore creating value for others and receiving abundance in return.

I feel abundant in all aspects of my life.

My income is constantly increasing.

The more I help others,

The more I prosper.

My cells are vibrating with health.

Every day,

I feel healthier and stronger.

My cells are constantly renewing and keeping me young.

I am worthy of feeling good in my body.

I listen to what my body needs.

I am talented at many things.

The ideas I have are powerful.

Anything is possible in my life.

I love myself.

I deserve support from those who are close to me.

I inspire others.

I am a role model to many people.

I am grateful for my talents.

I am advancing at my own pace.

I have a beautiful spirit.

I am infinitely supported.

I am so loved.

I am complete and perfect as I am.

I am deeply nourished by the source energy of the universe.

Feel that energy flowing all around you.

Underneath you.

Above you.

In every direction.

Feel it radiating from deep within you as well.

This source energy.

Within and without creating a cocoon or bubble of this energy.

Feel the nourishment from this cocoon of source energy deeply.

I allow myself to drift into a deep rest.

Feeling held.

Loved.

And supported.
