Hi,

My name is Carla Di Cretza and this is a releasing self-doubt meditation and strengthening self-belief.

So let's start by taking a few deep breaths as you close down your eyes.

Wherever you are,

You may be seated or you may be lying down.

Seeing if you can draw the breath up from the pelvis all the way up towards the crown of your head.

And then open your mouth,

Exhale.

Let's do two more like this.

Deep breath in and open.

From the pelvis,

Traveling up the spine.

Fill up towards the crown of your head and exhale.

One more deep breath in and release.

Now see if you can bring your focus to your third eye.

This is the space in between your eyebrows.

Allowing all thoughts to drop away as you focus on this spot.

Notice if your mind wants to move around.

That's okay,

Just gently allow your focus to come back to this spot.

Let's take a deep breath in here and a full breath out.

Now gently shift your focus to the feeling of self-doubt or uncertainty that's been showing up for you.

Can you locate the origins of where this feeling may have started?

And if you can't find a specific event,

That's okay.

Just allow and bring this feeling or event to the front of your mind.

And so from here,

Let's give this feeling a color and a shape,

Whatever comes to mind first.

And notice how this feeling feels.

Does it feel heavy or does it feel light?

Maybe it's the shape of a cloud or a block,

Whatever comes to mind for you here.

Now,

Imagine yourself picking up a big heavy rock.

Can you look at this rock you are holding?

And from here,

Place your feeling,

Your event,

The shape of self-doubt inside this rock.

Pour it all in like you're getting the last drops out of a jar of honey.

Scrape it all out.

Okay,

Now imagine holding the rock in your hands,

Feeling its heaviness,

The weight of all your self-doubt and uncertainty.

This rock feels solid,

But it can change.

Now,

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Watch the rock begin to glow from the inside.

And slowly it starts to warm in your hands.

As this rock glows brighter and brighter,

Slowly it starts to dissolve,

Breaking apart into tiny grains of sand.

Each grain represents a piece of doubt that you're letting go of.

You watch as the rock crumbles and transforms,

Turning into light dust that is gently carried away by the wind.

You take a deep breath in here,

And a full breath out.

Feel the breeze sweep it away,

Light and free,

Disappearing into the air,

Leaving nothing but space inside you where the doubt used to be.

Now,

Continue filling this space in between your hands with light.

Even though the rock has completely dissolved now,

You are left with this glowing light.

Take another deep breath in,

And as you inhale,

Imagine drawing this bright,

Warm light in towards you.

Perhaps it's golden or white.

This light represents your inner strength,

Your confidence,

And your belief in yourself.

Feel it filling the space that self-doubt once occupied,

Expanding with every breath,

Growing brighter and stronger inside you.

Allow this light to spread throughout your entire body,

Your chest,

Your arms,

Your legs,

All the way up your collarbones and into your mind,

Until you are completely filled with this energy of empowerment and self-belief.

Let it settle here,

Knowing that this light is always within you,

Ready to shine whenever you need it.

Now silently or aloud repeat after me,

I release all self-doubt and I trust myself completely.

I am capable,

I am confident,

And I am enough.

I believe in myself and my ability to create the life I desire.

Take a few more deep breaths,

Soaking in the truth of these affirmations.

Now gently bring your awareness back to the present moment,

Taking a deep conscious breath in,

And a cleansing breath out as you start to wriggle your fingers and toes,

And when it feels right,

Softly open your eyes.

You have released what no longer serves you,

And from this moment forward,

You walk with the confidence of someone who believes fully in themselves.
