Self-love and compassion.

Welcome to this guided meditation on self-love and compassion.

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down,

And gently close your eyes.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Release any tension or heaviness which you may be carrying within you.

Allow yourself to fully surrender to this moment of introspection and healing.

As you settle into this state of stillness,

Bring your attention to your heart centre,

The sacred space within your chest that holds the essence of your being.

Place your hand gently over your heart,

Feeling the connection and the comfort of your own touch.

Feel the gentle warmth emanating from this area,

A flickering ember of self-love,

Compassion and healing.

With each breath,

Envision this ember growing brighter,

Expanding its light and infusing every fibre of your being with its radiant energy.

And now,

As you connect with your heart,

Bring to mind any areas of trauma or pain that you carry within you.

Allow these experiences to come into your awareness without judgement or resistance,

And acknowledge the weight they may hold,

The wounds they may have caused.

And with each breath,

Send a gentle wave of compassion and love towards these wounded parts of yourself,

Knowing that you are creating a safe space for healing to occur.

Visualise a soft,

Soothing light surrounding these areas of trauma.

See this light enveloping them with warmth and tenderness,

And melting away the pain,

And replacing it with a gentle,

Healing energy.

As you breathe,

Feel the release of any tension or heaviness associated with these wounds,

Allowing them to gradually soften and transform.

And now,

Imagine a healing balm infused with love and compassion being poured over these areas of trauma.

Feel the nourishing properties of this balm as it seeps into every layer of your being,

It's soothing and repairing any damage that has been done.

Allow yourself to be fully present in this healing process,

Knowing that you are taking an active role in your own transformation.

And as the healing balm works its magic,

Repeat,

Either silently or out loud,

The following affirmations.

I am strong and resilient,

Capable of healing and growth.

I release the hold that trauma has had on me,

Embracing my power to heal.

Compassion and a life free from the limitations of the past.

I choose to forgive myself for those,

Allowing space for healing and restoration.

Feel the power of these affirmations resonating within you,

Infusing every cell with a renewed sense of strength and hope.

Allow any feelings or emotions that arise during this process to be acknowledged and accepted,

Knowing that they are a part of your healing journey.

Now draw your attention back to the ebb and flow of your breath.

With each inhale,

Invite in healing energy.

Allow it to permeate every aspect of your being.

And with each exhale,

Release any residual pain,

Tension or negativity,

Allowing it to dissipate out and into the universe.

As you continue to breathe,

Visualize a gentle waterfall of healing energy cascading down upon you.

Feel its pure and cleansing touch as it washes away the remnants of trauma,

Purifying your mind,

Body and spirit.

Allow this waterfall to carry away any burdens you no longer wish to carry,

Freeing you to embrace a life of love,

Compassion and healing.

Now return your focus to the sacred space of your heart.

Still with your hand gently placed over your heart,

Feel the profound transformation that has taken place within you.

Sense the newfound strength and resilience that emerges from your healing journey.

Embrace the love and compassion that now radiates from your heart,

Not only for yourself,

But for all beings.

And remain in this space of self-love,

Compassion and healing for a few moments,

Savoring the depth of your own transformation.

Express gratitude for the courage and resilience that you brought to this meditation,

Knowing that you are on a continuous journey of growth and healing.

Gently bring your awareness back to your physical body.

Wheel your fingers and toes,
