Welcome to this short meditation to help you let go of any frustration you may be feeling.
Getting your body comfortable in its position,
Closing over your eyes and taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling slowly,
Noticing the tension releasing just a little bit from your body.
Bringing your body into this present moment,
Attempting to relax and settle in just for a short while.
Taking another breath in,
Making it slightly longer and slightly deeper than normal,
Bringing all of your attention and awareness to the breath.
With each inhale,
Imagine drawing in calm and peace.
With each exhale,
Visualize your body releasing the tension and frustration,
Bringing your attention just for a moment to the source of your frustration and if possible,
Noticing it without judgment.
Acknowledging the feeling you feel to be valid,
Trying to get a sense of that frustration as a shape.
Notice if that frustration has a color and now as you visualize this frustration in a more tangible way,
Let us notice it drift away from your body.
Feel the weight of frustration starting to lessen with each breath.
Breathing in that calm and peace,
Breathing out and allowing that frustration to drift away out of your body.
Breathing in calm and peace,
Breathing out and letting go.
Breathing in calm and peace,
And breathing out,
Noticing the frustration lessening and leaving your body.
Frustration,
Like any emotion,
Is just energy and when we bring our attention to energy,
It starts to shift.
Breathing in calm and peace,
Breathing out and letting go.
Allowing the peace of each in-breath to fill you with a sense of ease and relaxation.
Every out-breath,
Noticing that frustration,
That energy,
That tension leaving your body because it has no choice.
Now slowly bringing your awareness back to your body,
To the breath.
Noticing your fingers and your toes.
When you're ready,
Opening your eyes and just take a moment to notice the calmness around you,
How the energy has shifted,
How your body is ready to take a step into this day.
Feeling calm,
Feeling peaceful and ready to start another beautiful day.
