What is fear?
We have physical fear.
In the real danger,
The physical fear can help us take actions to protect ourselves from being hurt.
But why does the fear overflow into the mind,
Into the psychological world?
Here we explore and examine the psychological fear.
Why is the mind bothered by fear?
Where does the fear come from?
It's not about an analytical process of understanding,
Which small things in my life give me fear.
Not totally understand where does the fear come from.
If we are not attached to thoughts,
Can we be bothered by fear or not?
Thoughts breed fear.
Fear borders on negative reactions to the thoughts.
Being afraid of loss when the mind holds onto some thoughts.
As long as one is living thoughts,
Which means that the life is full of attachment to thoughts,
Fear is inevitable.
If one is enslaved to thoughts,
Fear is there.
One can fear losing something.
Even when we feel something,
That refusal also implies fear.
When one seeks pleasure for the self,
That very seeking pleasure creates the fear of losing the pleasure.
Look at all kinds of commercials on the internet,
On TV,
Or the posters outside.
It influences you by giving you,
So to speak,
Some kind of pleasure and creates the fear.
The very craving for the pleasure creates the fear.
This means that many of our daily mental actions are contributing to the generation of fear in all kinds of ways.
As long as one begins to seek pleasure,
Seek comfort,
Seek certainty,
Seek confirmation,
That very seeking creates the fear.
