Aloha.

I'm Reverend Cindy Palos and I'd like to talk a little bit about how we survive challenging times and can actually use our inner strength and our mind to direct us through those challenging times to see the good that exists always.

I have seen so many challenging times in my years and years of life,

But I have never seen anything like this last year,

Six months,

Seven months.

But the thing is that I have to recognize myself.

The challenging times,

Or what you could call hard times,

Forces you to be stronger,

Really calls upon you to use everything you know,

All of your tools,

Everything you have inside you to change the inner well-being,

To be able to be expressed outwardly in your life.

Now,

How do you find that inner well-being?

Well,

That's kind of our natural inner knowledge of knowing.

When we go into meditation,

When we go inside,

When we look within,

How we get to that place first usually is by taking deep breaths and knowing that our breath sweeps our mind.

And if we just take that concept alone,

How precious and valuable that is when we start to get overwhelmed by our life experiences and what's going on in the world.

Now,

I know,

And you know,

That if you turn on the TV,

You can be really influenced by some of the things that are happening.

And I still believe in knowing what's going on in the world.

And I do watch the news,

You know,

A couple times.

And I certainly listen to the news and the radio since I got a radio station and we broadcast the news on our talk shows all the time.

So I know that you,

It's,

You know,

You listen to the news,

You watch the news,

But sometimes you have to be aware of the influence that has and how to maybe do a check,

An inner check and an outer check on how it affects your way of thinking.

It does influence your way of thinking.

I mean,

If you're watching news that is upsetting and bad news,

Which is what you see,

I'd say a good 85% when you turn on the news on TV or listen to the news,

That is going to influence your mind.

I've been in radio almost all of my life.

I've also done TV and I know the power that that has.

Now the thing is how to,

How to you recognize that power and be aware objectively of what's going on in the world.

And then also choose consciously not to let it influence you in a negative way.

Now there are ways to do this.

I mean,

And it's really good to practice these ways.

One is you,

You go into a place where you realize that's a thing that you took into your,

Your knowledge of your brain and your mind,

And it goes and affects your emotions and your thoughts.

So it's good to do a clearing.

If you've been watching or listening to news and it's been negative news,

As,

As we know,

Most of the news is,

Because that's how they make their money.

That is what they're told to report is the bad news,

You know,

The bad things going on.

There are sites now that,

And there's websites I've found,

And there's apps that I've found that do only good news.

Now here's the thing is,

You know,

What is it that makes us want to watch the bad news and not find the good news?

You know,

You might have to counteract that as well.

But either way,

It's good to know that you can control those influences if you're aware of them.

And here's some things you can do to overcome the negative influences that you might be taking into your consciousness,

Into your mind,

Into your emotions.

We know that breath sweeps mind.

We know,

We know that by breathing out and clearing and breathing in and being aware,

You can actually go into that place and recognize your mindset.

And you can breathe your breath in and allow it to sweep your mind.

Breath sweeps mind.

And so you breathe in after you've watched a lot of negative energy news or the radio,

And you breathe in and you breathe it out.

You do a cleansing,

You do a clearing,

You do a deep,

Deep,

Deep,

Deep,

Deep dive into like,

Okay,

I'm going to restore myself into a positive,

Wonderful state of mind where I can be clear of any negative energy.

And I can be aware of the good that is there in the world,

The good that is alive at all times that I may not have allowed myself to watch or see or listen to.

And you can just take a time to allow yourself to be bathed in the good that exists in the world.

You can allow yourself to believe in that power of goodness there within you.

You have an amazing power of goodness and love and light and energy that exists in you at all times.

Now it can be shadowed by the negative stuff,

But you can,

When you consciously ask for that positive energy to come back,

You can allow that wonderful energy to come back.

And it's amazing how rapidly that good energy will come and sweep away,

Maybe not sweep away,

But sweep away that negative energy.

We can see that as a ray of light,

A ray of sunshine breaking through the clouds and coming and completely taking all that dark negative energy and lightening it up with a beautiful,

Beautiful energy of pure light.

We can breathe that energy in and let it come through our whole mind,

Our whole body,

Because our body is influenced by our state of mind.

We can allow it to clear away all things that maybe bring us down and breathe that energy and just breathe out anything that you need to release.

Now that's very simple and you know what,

It feels so good.

It feels good to breathe in and hold your breath and just breathe out and release.

It feels good to release the tension that might be building in your head and in your neck and it feels good to expand your heart and let your heart be filled with love and light.

It feels good to allow your whole body to be surrounded in light and love.

And you know when you do this,

You start feeling good and recognize how you love this energy,

This positive,

Wonderful energy that exists,

That you can choose at any time.

That's your freedom.

That's your power and you're taking back your power.

You're taking back your life.

You're taking back your light.

You're taking back your force for good in the world when you do this.

Now after doing this for a while,

It's good to stop and to pause and to do a check and to remember,

How do I feel now?

Do I feel good?

And then you can work some more if you need some more.

If you're maybe recognizing your body's still tense or upset,

You can do checks like your body check,

Which is to see how is your body sitting?

How is your alignment?

How are your chakras doing?

Do you need to do a little more work in what's going on in your body?

So then you take the time and go through each chakra and you allow each chakra to be recharged and balanced because they get influenced by the way you feel and what you've been going through.

They get influenced by negative energy.

So you take all of that time you need to feel good in your body and you allow your body to feel good and you should start to notice that you're feeling a little more balanced.

Maybe you're sitting straighter.

Maybe you're seeing more light when you close your eyes and then just allow that light to be there and wonderful energy fields that protect you,

A wonderful white light,

A clearing light all around you,

All around you,

All around you.

And do another check and see if you feel safe and protected in this energy field.

And take this time where you can call upon your inner self,

Your higher self,

To restore you and to redeem you and to revitalize you,

To take back your power,

To take back that energy,

To take back that truth,

The truth of who you really are,

To restore that truth of who you are,

To realize the power that you do have inside you.

You can choose your state of mind.

You can choose the power there within you to heal and to remove anything negative.

And you can choose to program your own mind to receive that energy you need to reject it out into the world and to also clear out anything negative that your whole energy field have been affected by,

By either words or things you've watched or seen,

Things you've heard.

This is an amazing power you have that no one else can take away.

So be grateful for that amazing power you have within you to choose to be a force for good in the world,

An instrument of light,

An instrument of peace,

An instrument of love,

A whole being that is serving a greater purpose in your energy field.

Because when you are positive,

When you are full of good energy,

You are projecting that out to the world.

Take a moment to just think of all the good things that you can feel.

Take a moment to realize how this gift of your own power to choose your state of mind is so precious,

So very,

Very precious.

And just be grateful,

Be ever so,

So grateful.

And as you're grateful,

See how that power is redeemed even more and restored even more.

And just say,

Thank you,

God.

And remember,

You have the power to choose your state of mind and to be a force for good in the world.
