Aloha,
I'm Reverend Cindy Paulus and I've been talking a lot about the elements of peace and the keys to peace.
And I think that one of the ultimate realizations is to find that peace that passeth all understanding.
And I've talked about understanding and that being of course a key to peace.
But understanding is still something where you're coming to terms in your mind with something.
Now when you get to that higher dimension,
That higher reality,
That ultimate satori,
That place where you go beyond the mind,
Then you can find that wonderful,
Magical power of the peace that passeth all understanding.
Now most people think of that peace in relationship to the quote in the Bible,
Philippines 4.
7,
Where that was taken from.
And in that particular situation in the Bible,
There was a very hard time going on.
Paul was going through a lot of difficulties.
And Paul didn't promise that God will do everything that the people needed to get through the hard situation that they were in.
And they were in a very hard situation.
People were being arrested,
People were being killed for practicing Christianity.
I mean that's a pretty hard situation.
But he did promise that when the Philippines pray about things,
God will change the people themselves.
Not the situation,
But the people.
And he said,
And the peace of God,
Which transcends all understanding,
Will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
That's a powerful statement.
So when we have hard situations like we've had in the last couple of years,
When we have problems and worries,
As I've mentioned before,
Worries only worsen the situation,
But it's hard to get away from that.
But if you pray,
Then you're asking that situation to be handed over with the trust and faith for God to help you.
And that is that place where you're releasing your own ego,
Your own mind to God and God's will,
Which can then change our own being and our own state of mind.
So you have to reject the worry not to be anxious,
Then you have to talk to God about what you need in every situation that you're worried about.
Present that talk to God and thank Him for already taking that out.
It's such an important lesson to remember when we're under stress.
Sometimes we get obsessed with it and we worry,
But truly miracles can happen.
Isaiah 26 three says,
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.
So again,
That word of trust,
It's such an important key to finding peace as well.
And it is said that God's peace is not like the peace of the world.
In our mind,
In the world's state of consciousness,
It's based in our mental plane,
In our physical plane,
In our circumstances of the world.
But that isn't the ultimate peace.
World peace and the ultimate peace have to come to that place where it's raised to a higher resolution.
And I use the word resolution with meaning re-soul-ution,
From your soul,
Finding that way to come to terms again,
To come to terms with peace.
And that comes when you can let it go.
And when you can indeed get to that higher place in the light and love of God,
Then you can find a peace that transcends all understanding.
And so here we're talking about something that isn't found in words.
It's found in the silence behind the silence.
It's found in the light behind the light.
It's found in the love within the source of all love,
The love that created everything.
It takes you out of your individual self and it surpasses all comprehension.
That's a lot of peace.
So there are many ways to go about discovering peace and to try to find peace.
But why not go to the place where you can find the source of peace and where peace came from?
Finding that place within.
For we know that peace first has to come from within.
And there are certain keys you can do when you're going within.
And again,
Most of you,
If you've meditated,
Have found what works for you.
It could be a word.
It could be a sound.
It could be finding your soul and connecting with your higher self.
It could be following your breath to the point where you reach a Zen state and you just go beyond your mind.
Nirvana,
Satori,
Enlightenment,
Illumination,
The ultimate light of all,
There,
There is the peace that passeth all understanding.
In John 14,
27,
It said,
Peace I leave with you.
My peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your hearts be troubled nor let them be afraid.
Now that is able to at that point transcend the world and find the peace that passeth understanding.
And if you can get to that state,
And I know you can,
You will in time eventually,
Then you will pull yourself out of the conflicts.
You will disengage from the battles and conflicts of the world.
You will find a place of peace that's beyond the small ego battles,
Beyond the individual needs and found in the ultimate universal consciousness of God.
And can that change the way you live and see things?
Of course it can.
Can you hold on to it always?
Well,
If you're in Christ consciousness or you're enlightened possibly,
But very few people living in the world maintain that peace unless it's Buddha or Christ or a major teacher or a master.
That we can reach that peace and we can find that peace and we can call upon our highest part of ourself to be able to surpass the conflicts of the world.
And if we do that and we find that peace that passeth understanding,
What a glorious way to become the holy dove,
To become the light of the world,
To fly around and soar around the world and like the holy dove and the holy spirit,
Offer that olive branch of peace.
And in offering that olive branch of peace,
You're sharing that light of the world.
You're sharing that holy spirit.
You're sharing that illumination.
You're sharing enlightenment.
And by doing that,
Which comes from the highest source inside,
Then you're able to share peace and spread peace and be at peace and to be a peace maker.
What a wonderful gift.
What a wonderful way to serve.
What a wonderful way to bring the world to peace.
And it is being done by so many people,
More than you might even imagine.
But right now,
Let us try to be in that place of peace.
Let's take some breaths of peace,
Breathing in deeply,
Holding it and letting go and releasing anything that is not a peace.
Breathing deeply in,
Following that breath of the light.
And as you breathe out,
Let that light fill your head,
Your mind,
Your throat,
Your heart,
Your whole body,
Your solar plexus,
Your stomach,
Going on down to your organs and all of the reproduction area and the base of your spine and letting go,
Letting go and letting go of anything that is not at peace.
Going deeper within and being at peace right now,
Filling your whole being and sharing that light of peace all around you,
Extending it out above your head,
Around you,
Out beneath you and completely allowing your whole body to be in a light of peace.
Breathing that peace in and going to that place where you open your heart to peace.
Open your heart to that silence that holds the peace that passeth understanding.
See it coming to you like a beautiful dove that comes and flies to you on a perch inside and hands you that olive branch.
You hold that olive branch of peace.
You are peace.
You are a peacemaker.
And as you hold this olive branch of peace,
Let that beautiful holy white dove know that you are on that journey as the holy dove soars around the whole planet,
Flying and soaring around the entire world,
Sharing the light of peace in all places that have conflict,
Seeing them enlightened as the world becomes one with peace.
As we see peace and imagine peace now coming to all of those who so need that peace and we see the entire vibration of the planet reverberating with peace,
A peace that passeth understanding.
And now that peace comes back to you a hundred fold,
A million fold into your heart,
Bringing love and light to your mind,
Taking that love and light and bringing it to your soul,
And then returning that love and light of peace to the source from where it all came,
Uniting with that God energy in peace,
A peace that passeth understanding.
See it,
Absorb it,
Believe it,
Be at peace.
Now slowly come out of meditation and let your whole body be in that energy and be transformed by that peace.
And allow whatever comes to you in your mind to be written down if you need to write words to remember that feeling,
That energy of peace so you can work and be and share that peace with others.

A peace that never ends.
