The Beauty In Diversity

Aloha.

I'm Cindy Palos and I've been really going into the magic and the beauty of rainbows.

I put out my latest album called Sacred Rainbows and I did that particular album after many,

Many rainbows appeared to me at the passing of many friends over this last year.

But it wasn't just me.

After Queen Elizabeth died,

There were five rainbows over Balmoral Castle and a huge rainbow that happened.

A double rainbow appeared over Buckingham Palace.

It caught everyone's attention.

And I know that rainbows do catch our attention.

Rainbows are a blessed thing.

They've been present in our,

Well,

For as long as written words are out there,

They've been present as they touch people's lives.

You know,

A rainbow is a beautiful sign of hope.

In Ireland,

It's a sign of good luck,

A pot of gold at the end of a rainbow,

That's good fortune.

For a lot of times,

It does carry a special meaning,

That's wonder of seeing a rainbow.

And I have to say there are many times where you can look back,

Where you see it a special time,

Maybe a new beginning or a new love or some special time,

A rainbow appears.

And they're so beautiful and so symbolic.

The fact that there's seven different beautiful colors in a rainbow,

Seven beautiful colors in a rainbow.

It's very special,

Right?

And on top of that,

I mean,

Rainbows have been around for a long time.

They're in the Bible.

There's been many times that they are mentioned as a bow from heaven.

They are something kind of otherworldly that makes us stop for a moment and look up and wonder.

And what does it mean,

Right?

In the Bible,

God said,

This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you for all future generations.

I have sent my bow,

My bow in the cloud,

And it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and earth.

When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds,

I remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh and the water shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.

So when there's rains and storms and hard times,

Many times that sign,

That sign from heaven,

A rainbow comes and gives us hope.

For me,

It's happened so many times at the passing of a loved one that I did create all 15 songs on this wonderful new album,

Sacred Rainbows,

Because I felt it was worth giving that beautiful sign some recognition.

And it's worth remembering that we can be connected from heaven to earth.

That there's this amazing radiance of this rainbow that is,

Well,

It just fascinates people.

I mean,

It's been around also in many myths and cultures.

Rainbows are often portrayed in bridges between people in the supernatural.

It was in the Norse mythology.

A rainbow called the bilfrost connect with earth and Asgard where the guards live,

The gods live.

So there was that connection they had in the Norse times,

In the ancient belief of Japan.

And Gabon rainbows were the bridges that human ancestors took to descend to the planet.

The shape of a rainbow also resembles a bow of an archer.

Hindu cultures teach that the god Indra uses his rainbow bow to shoot arrows of lightning.

Rainbows are usually a positive symbol in myths and legends.

They've been used many times.

It could be a symbol of a deity,

The goddess Ishtar in Hebrew,

God there.

And that was a sign in the Hebrew tradition to never again earth would be destroyed by floods.

But it's so important to just stop and remember why.

And now,

Of course,

The sign of the LGBTQ pride is a rainbow.

Now,

I actually was shocked to read some people in some Christian religions get upset that it's being used as a sign.

But it's a beautiful sign.

It talks about the diversity of the community,

The different aspects associated with each color.

I mean,

Each color has a meaning as well.

So why not accept and celebrate the rainbow culture?

The rainbow is diversity.

And there are so many colors here on this planet Earth,

You know,

And so many shades in between that we are in a way living rainbows.

And in this diversity,

We do have a unity.

This diversity is a beautiful thing,

Just as a rainbow is.

And that diversity brings us this wonderful feeling of acceptance.

This wonderful feeling of acceptance,

I hope,

Hopefully brings that understanding and love into our hearts rather than the separation.

Some people have tried to have about that.

So if we can just open our hearts and experience the beauty of these colors in our hearts,

In our bodies,

The rainbow colors are also the colors that we have over seven chakras.

And that rainbow energy is alive inside our body as well as the rainbow of the existence of so many different colors that exist in all the races of the world.

And we are in that energy of the rainbow one in spirit.

A beautiful chance to experience that.

Let's take a moment and experience that magic that happens when we see a rainbow.

When we experience that moment that just wants to capture a rainbow.

Because it's so beautiful.

It's so magical.

It's so wonderful.

Let's just breathe in and close our eyes.

If you're sitting down in a quiet place,

Relax and make sure you're comfortable and your attention is focused inside to experience all the magic and the colors of the rainbows that exist right there in you.

You are a living rainbow of light.

And as you breathe a deep breath in,

Breathe in the color at the highest frequency of the rainbow,

Which is purple.

Allow that purple energy to come into your violet third eye chakra with that magic radiant ray,

The divine ray of purple filling your entire sight,

Your inner sight being filled with that purple,

The seventh ray of magic there.

And breathe in the magic of purple and feel that wonderful purple energy.

And let it come through every single part there within your brain and your thoughts.

Letting it feel all of your body and all around your aura.

See a purple radiant light extending out and experience the feeling of that purple,

That beautiful violet ray.

And let it come into all of your body and mind and emotions,

Expressing that purple energy.

Breathing it in and extending the light way,

Way out above your head,

In front of you,

And behind you and around you until you're bathed in this wonderful sacred purple energy.

And you're protected by this wonderful purple light from heaven,

Allowing the highest energy of that sacred purple to come down and surround you and protect you.

And breathing in,

Allow that beautiful,

Lovely blue,

That blue with so many shades to come into your throat,

That creative energy of peace and beauty that is the color of the oceans and the sky.

Feel yourself bathed in that blue and seeing that energy of the blue sky and the blue ocean and the blue waters surrounding your whole throat chakra,

Speaking to you and allowing that energy to be there,

Purifying,

Cleansing,

And celebrating that creative energy force right there.

And breathe in and go into your heart chakra,

Which is the green,

Radiant color that you feel,

The emerald color of the beautiful fields,

That color that comes lit by light when that beautiful green is experienced in the field.

The green of trees,

The green of healing,

The green of love,

Right there in your heart of heart being lit by that color of beauty and love.

Expand that energy in your heart and allow it to be alive in you.

Feel good,

Just absorb it and be so grateful,

So glad to be able to experience the green.

And as you breathe out now,

Breathe in that beautiful gold,

That yellow next that comes into your third chakra,

That color of wisdom,

The color of light,

The color of the sun,

And allow that beautiful yellow energy to circulate through all of your organs,

Your liver,

Your kidneys,

Your stomach,

Your pancreas,

Healing and purifying them as you send out that wonderful energy of light and love to all of that beautiful energy there within.

Hue is the sound of that beautiful chakra.

The energy hue is the calling in of light as well.

Call in that light there to all of that beautiful radiant chakra and bring the energy focus down into your pelvis area and experience the radiance of that orange and peach that is the second chakra and feel that beautiful healing presence,

That beautiful healing feeling because that chakra holds your feelings and just bathe and feel all of your feelings being purified and healed like the energy of a rainbow coming there within that beautiful energy chakra.

And now breathe in and allow that beautiful red that you see in a rainbow to come into the root chakra,

That beautiful energy that radiates and heals and activates the kundalini energy there,

That beautiful balancing force of the ida and the pingala at the root of the spine.

And just send that energy through the entire body from the root chakra on up to the head chakra with all the colors forming a beautiful rainbow of light and allow it to come out the top chakra of your head where there's a beautiful lotus that blossoms from that rainbow of light and see that lotus being lit with the highest light from the source that lights up every rainbow.

Breathe it in,

Feel it,

Allow it to be present there and just feel yourself renewed,

Restored,

Revitalized,

Rejuvenated with this rainbow of light there that you hold within you that connects you from heaven to earth and earth to heaven.

And now think of the diversity of all these colors being expressed throughout all of this planet,

All the beautiful rainbow colors joining as one.

See that rainbow surrounding the entire planet with light,

Light,

Light,

A rainbow of light,

The full circle around the entire planet healing and joining us as one beautiful part of this entire planet that is surrounded by a rainbow of light.

And now I'm going to just allow you to be present in this energy,

Just to feel this energy of light that you're a part of when you join with the rainbows of light that exist inside and out in heaven and in earth.

And I'm going to play a piece called Now I'm going to play a piece called Diversity that I wrote.

In all the colors of the rainbows,

There's a unity of this never-ending song playing the soundtrack of our life,

All alive in the universe as one.

So many threads all related in our DNA from the one tapestry in a sacred hall.

We sometimes remember the reason for it all.

We're just trying to make the best of it,

Sometimes feeling such pain,

This multi-colored rainbow with so many variations to claim.

Life is such a puzzle with so many pieces to fit,

To see that bigger picture and understand the reason for all of it.

This spark of life in me is from the same source as that spirit alive in you.

This precious energy of such diversity with so many shades and hues.

We are expressions of the one song of life with many variations of a tune.

So many notes that recall the symphony that plays in me and you.

We are one in spirit,

Just acting out our different roles.

It helps to show a little kindness to others along life's winding road.

We might recognize each other as distant cousins,

Sisters,

Or brothers,

All here together on this planet trying to survive and grow.

Diversity holds unity for each and every soul and in life's melting pot we can celebrate all the colors of the rainbow.

Oh you beautiful children of light,

Dwelling on this planet as one.

Let's try to love each other and see that good in everyone.
