This is a prayer for someone who is with or knows a loved one who is coming towards the end of their earthly life.
Feel held by this prayer.
While you are listening to a recording,
If you can believe that what happens in spirit happens outside of time and space and that includes prayers that are said,
Holding that is given at any time.
Whatever your faith or tradition,
However strong,
Know that you are being held right at this moment from the heart.
May you be filled with precious,
Pure,
Comforting,
Healing light.
Be encouraged that there will be a bright tomorrow.
Even though the sadness,
The saying goodbye may seem so painful now,
Focus if you can your energies on holding your loved one in your heart.
See them surrounded by beautiful light.
As they begin to see the great door through which they will now travel,
Know that they are being held gently,
Relieved from pain and that this is a serene and beautiful moment.
Not of death,
But of rebirth,
Of transformation,
Of transition,
Leaving behind this tired and much worked body,
Free in spirit,
Healed,
Relieved of all suffering and always at a heart level with you still.
Wish your friend,
Your loved one well.
Trust that they are held in safe hands,
Being gently carried,
Released and coming home to a place of wholeness,
A place of happiness.
So know that they are not leaving you permanently,
Ever.
Be blessed,
Be healed.
Close your eyes and allow yourself to connect from the heart.
Feelings that may be very mixed right now,
Great feelings of sadness for yourself,
Of saying goodbye,
But knowing that there will not be emptiness,
That you will be always able to connect heart to heart and that you are always loved and held in pure light.
