Together,
By closing down your eyes.
And taking an immediate pause.
Feeling the way everything around you can continue to move forward,
Even if you are still.
Take a deep breath in here.
And exhale as your body settles a little more still.
Allowing your focus to shift,
Here,
To the feeling of gratitude.
Gratitude reminds us that we are doing far better than we think we are.
To be grateful for this next breath.
Without gratitude,
Everything can feel like nothing.
And with gratitude,
Nothing can feel like everything.
We find gratitude in experiences and opportunities in life.
So I want you to think about a few things that bring you the feeling of gratitude.
Your answers don't have to be grand,
Or really anything significant.
In fact,
I encourage you to go with your very first thought.
As you reflect on something that simply made you smile today.
A small victory worth celebrating.
And one thing you are looking forward to about tomorrow.
Feeling whatever you are feeling grateful for,
And holding that feeling deep in your chest.
As you savor the feeling of gratitude.
Feeling the energy it creates as soon as you bring it into focus.
Take a deep breath in.
And exhale.
Feeling your heart filled with gratitude and appreciation for life.
For the moments in life where you find simple joy.
Take another deep breath in.
Letting the air fill your lungs as it reminds you,
That you are being gifted with another day to live just as you already are.
Taking a final deep breath in.
And exhale.
And when you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Returning to your surroundings.
