Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

Make sure that you're all warm and snuggly and comfortable in your bed.

Check that the light is just right in your room.

You're wearing your comfortable pyjamas so that you can lay down,

Be still,

Relax your body and let go of your busy,

Busy day.

Heidi,

Cherry,

Vea,

Tucker and Leo were at Diana's house.

They were all laid down on the grass on the back garden on a really big,

Soft,

Comfortable blanket.

They were staring up at the sky.

They'd had a balloon fight,

A water balloon fight and everyone was drenched.

OMG!

Said Cherry.

I can barely see.

All my fur keeps falling over my eyes.

I think I must need a haircut or something because now that it's wet,

Look at it,

Look at it.

Cherry kept rubbing at her eyes,

Trying to move the fur that was all drenched,

That had gone straight and was covering her eyelashes and her eyes.

I don't know what to do with it.

It's so long.

Maybe I'll need a ponytail soon.

It's so long.

Anyway,

Yeah,

She sweeped it all back off over her eyes,

Back towards her forehead and pushed it down.

And then when she laid back down,

It stayed there because she was just looking up at the sky.

Diana was playing around with her radio.

Diana always likes to get the radio out when Cherry and Heidi and Vea come over and Tucker and Leo.

It's one of her favourite things to do,

To go on adventures,

To go on magical adventures with Heidi,

Cherry,

Vea,

Tucker and Leo.

And of course,

Her radio.

She was spinning the dial around,

Trying to find the perfect song.

She stopped it on a song that always made her think of Tucker.

Who let the dogs out?

Woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof.

Who let the dogs out?

Woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof.

Tucker was singing along with the woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof part of the song.

He looked all happy.

He was whittling his bum around,

Laid down on the carpet,

Wagging his tail.

This is why the song reminded her of Tucker,

Because Tucker can never stay still whenever this song comes on.

The chorus started again.

Who let the dogs out?

And Tucker went woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Swinging his bum around at the same time,

In tune with the beat of the music.

And then Diana got a little bit sad.

Heidi said,

Are you okay,

Diana?

Your face got all sad all of a sudden.

You went from a really big smile to a sad face.

What's going on?

Diana explained that because her mom and dad aren't together,

She's going to go on a vacation with her mom to Hawaii for two weeks.

And she's super excited about it.

She'll be going with Grandma Michelle and Auntie Naomi,

Uncle Hunter and Uncle Zach.

And she loved all of those people.

And of course,

She was going with her mom and she was really excited about going to Hawaii.

But she would miss everyone.

She wouldn't see them because she'd be in Hawaii.

And when Tucker looked so cute,

Wagging his tail around,

Wiggling his bum,

Singing to a song,

It made her sad.

Heidi said,

Oh,

I get it.

And then Diana explained that after that,

She would be going to stay with her dad in Colorado for six weeks,

Maybe.

Cherry went,

When,

Jay?

Oh,

When?

Jay,

Six weeks?

What are we going to do without you for six weeks?

Diana said,

Exactly.

Faye said,

Oh,

Me get sad thinking about you going away.

We'll miss you so much.

Tucker said,

Oh,

Don't be sad.

Don't be sad.

You know what?

Sometimes,

Right?

Oh,

This was awful one time,

Weren't it,

Leo?

Weren't it,

Leo?

It was awful.

Me and Leo got separated one time,

Right?

Leo had to go stay with Isabel because he wasn't feeling very well.

And I had to,

I had to stay at the house where we normally stay together at mum and dad's house.

And Leo was gone and he was only gone for two nights.

And it was so not nice.

It was awful.

And I was pining and I was pacing and I was missing my Leo wasn't happy.

Leo got all quiet and depressed and Auntie Izzy had to bring him back after two days because he didn't like it there.

And he felt so sad all on his own.

Right,

Leo?

Leo said,

Yep.

Right.

It was weird not being with Tucker.

Tucker said,

Yes,

Exactly.

But you know what?

Do you know what we vowed to do from then on so that we don't miss each other anymore?

Do you know what we do,

Diana?

Shall I tell you what we do?

Tucker was all happy and excited,

Which started to cheer Diana up instantly.

And she was intrigued.

She wondered what it was that Tucker did and what Leo did that made it so that they didn't miss each other when they weren't together.

We do this,

Right?

What happens is,

For example,

In the future,

Me and Leo are not together for some strange reason.

This is what we do,

Right,

Leo?

Whenever we're feeling really,

Really,

Really sad about it,

We would just sit there and we will go,

Nope,

Don't be sad.

Think of five things that are really funny about Leo.

Or think of five things that Leo can think of that's really funny about me,

Tucker.

Because I'm so funny,

Right,

Leo?

Leo said,

Yeah,

Actually,

You are funny.

Cherry said,

OMG,

I love it.

What a great idea.

Tell me five things that are funny about me,

Right?

Come on,

Diana,

Let's practice.

Let's practice.

So think about it,

Right?

We'll flash forward.

Heidi said,

Flash.

Cherry said,

Yes,

Flash.

No,

Flash.

Cherry said,

Yes,

OMG.

We'll flash forward.

We'll flash.

We'll flash forward into the future,

Right?

And I am away.

Well,

No,

You're away.

Let's make it real.

Let's do it so it's real.

Maybe you're away and you're in Hawaii,

Right?

And you're feeling sad.

Or maybe you're in Colorado.

And you're feeling sad because you're in Colorado.

And you're not with your mom,

You were your dad.

And I mean,

I bet you love your dad and everything.

But you bet might be moments where you miss your mom.

And I bet when you're in Hawaii,

And you love your mom.

But maybe in Hawaii,

You're like,

Oh,

I miss my dad.

And it's so strange being apart like that sometimes.

So yeah,

I mean,

This is great.

I'm excited.

So let's do it.

Diana,

Let's do it.

Think of this,

Right?

Think,

Think,

Think.

Put your thinking head on.

Upstairs for thinking.

Downstairs for dancing.

That's what my granddad always used to say.

Upstairs for thinking.

Downstairs for dancing.

And then when he would say downstairs for dancing,

He always did a little jig.

It was so cute.

Anyway,

Yeah.

So upstairs for thinking means we have to put our thinking heads on Diana.

So easy because you know it's me.

And I'm awesome.

And I'm so funny.

I mean,

Who wouldn't think I were funny?

If people don't think I'm funny,

There's something wrong with them.

They need to go to the vets.

Heidi said,

You don't go to the vets when you're a person.

You go to the doctors.

We go to the vets.

Cherry said,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Exactly.

Anyway,

Right.

So Diana,

Look at me.

Look into my eyes.

Look into my face.

Look at me.

Tell me five things that you think are funny about me.

Diana lifted one of her hands up to her chin and started scratching her chin as if she was deep in thought.

Tucker did a drum roll.

Diana said,

Well,

I like it when you almost pee your pants when you're excited.

Cherry started laughing.

That's so funny.

I do do that,

Don't I?

I'm gonna pee my pants.

Oh,

I just did it.

Oh my goodness gracious me.

You're so right.

I do do that.

I do do that.

I don't know what it is,

But when I'm excited,

Right,

I just think I'm gonna pee my pants.

I'm gonna pee my pants.

I have to go to toilet regularly because one of these days,

You really know this,

Don't you?

You know this.

I'm gonna pee my pants.

I'm gonna pee my pants for real.

Yeah,

Yeah.

I'm so awesome.

So awesome.

Tell me something else.

Diana scratched on her chin again as if to say,

Hmm,

Something else funny about Cherry.

I do like when you get your words wrong,

Said Diana.

Cherry said,

What?

I don't get my words wrong.

Diana started laughing.

Heidi started laughing.

In fact,

Everyone started laughing.

Said Tucker,

That's hilarious.

Tucker said,

You do get your words wrong.

You get them all tangled up in your tongue.

You get them mixed up.

You get them,

You get them spun around.

You get them going through the washing machine.

Then they go through a dryer cycle and then they come out to the other side,

Which is your mouth again.

And then you say something and everybody's like,

What?

What did she say?

And then you're like,

Oh yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah.

Heidi said,

Yes,

That's very true.

That's what you do all the time.

Cherry said,

Well,

I don't think that's very funny.

And then she thought about it and she went,

Well,

Actually I do.

Because I am so funny.

Cherry owned it.

She decided to own it and go with it and embrace the fact that she did get her words wrong quite a lot.

And it was a cute characteristic.

That was funny.

Yeah,

So funny.

Yeah,

What else?

I think it's funny that you sing all the time,

Said Diana.

Oh yeah,

That's so adorable.

So cute.

And it's funny.

Why is it funny?

Why is my singing funny,

Diana?

Cherry said,

All serious.

Diana again started giggling and everyone else giggled.

And Cherry said,

Am I missing some kind of joke here?

Is somebody saying that my singing's not delicious?

Is someone saying that my singing is not the best thing that they've ever heard in their entire life?

Because if someone's saying that my singing is not the bestest thing,

Not the glorious,

Glorious,

Morious,

Deliciousness that comes out of my mouth when I sing.

If they're saying that and they're not saying that,

Then I don't know what I'm saying.

Everyone laughed again and Cherry thought about it and then she started laughing.

I am so funny.

I am so funny.

I'm so funny.

I'm so funny.

I am so funny.

Said Cherry,

Which made everyone laugh even more.

See?

Yeah,

Yeah,

You're totally right.

You're totally right,

Diana.

Anyway,

What else?

What else do I do that's so funny?

Come on,

Because you have to remember all of these things when you think about missing your little friendies like me.

Because I know I'm your bestest,

Bestest friend.

I mean,

I know you like Tucker.

I know you like Leo.

I know you like Vea.

And I know you like Heidi.

Because I mean,

Who doesn't like all of them?

They're all so awesome.

But you know,

I know you like me bestest.

I know you like me bestest.

Anyway,

Think of something nice and funny,

Of course,

Obviously,

Because funny is supposed to be cheering you up,

Right?

Because if you just think of things that are nice,

It might not make you laugh.

We have to think of things that make you laugh,

Diana,

Because then you'll get pulled out of being sad.

You'll get pulled out like a plug out of the sink.

Pull you out,

We will.

And then you won't be sad when you're missing anybody.

So yeah,

This is going to get you all prepared for going through changes,

For going through changes,

For going through disruptions in your calendar.

It's going to get you all prepared.

Diana scratched her chin once again and then said,

Well,

I do also like it when you almost poop your pants when you're nervous.

Everyone at the same time exactly laughed because it was very true.

Cherry does almost poop her pants when she's nervous.

And then she looked at Diana and said,

When?

When?

You tell me when?

Diana thought about it and said,

Well,

There was that one time when,

Cherry said really quickly and interrupted her.

OMG,

Diana,

I'm kidding.

I know I almost poop my pants when I'm nervous.

I can't tell myself.

It's like my bowels just go to water.

Oh,

That's so gross.

Faye said,

Oh,

Yes,

That's that's a horrible thought.

Diana thought it was funny.

You know what's funnier though,

Diana,

Is if I don't poop myself,

I still have to toot.

So I'm sure sometimes like not sure.

I'm a bit sure,

But then sometimes I'm not sure.

And that makes me even nervous if I'm going to toot or if I'm going to poop.

And then I'm like,

Oh,

No,

Best not toot.

Because what if I poop?

What if I toot and I don't toot?

What if I toot?

I think I'm tooting and I know I don't.

I poop instead and then I poop my pants.

And then I'm stood there going,

Oh,

No,

I thought it were only a toot.

It's not.

It's a poop.

Oh,

What am I going to do?

Yes.

So that makes me even more nervous,

Diana.

So,

Yeah,

You're totally right.

That should be on your funny list.

Any final thoughts?

Anything else?

Diana said,

Yeah,

And I think it's funny that you think firemen are cute.

They are though,

Aren't they?

Oh,

So darn cute.

Firemen are delicious.

My mum's right,

You know,

She thinks they're cute.

You know,

Who doesn't think firemen are cute?

Bea said,

You know,

That one time when they all came to the house,

When the fire alarm wouldn't go off and we thought maybe we had some kind of invisible fire or something.

There was that one that looked just like a prince.

I decided he was called Prince Damien because his name was Damien.

And from then on,

Whenever I would dream about dancing on a big ballroom floor with my prince,

It would be Prince Damien.

Bea blushed.

Cherry said,

OMG,

Damien,

The fireman.

He was delicious,

Wasn't he?

You know,

I have a friend,

Right,

That has a husband that's a fireman.

He's nice too,

But he's a bit older.

Yeah,

Anyway,

They are all so handsome.

So yeah,

That is quite funny.

Diana said,

Yeah,

It's funny.

Cherry said,

Yeah,

I know it's funny.

Anyway,

Tucker interrupted.

This is such a fun game.

This is such a fun game.

I want to play.

I want to play.

Diana,

My turn,

My turn.

Tell me some funny things about me because,

You know,

I'm funny.

In fact,

I think I'm a little bit funnier than Cherry,

Don't you?

He whispered to Diana,

But Cherry heard him.

What?

Said Cherry.

Watch it,

You.

OMG,

Tucker.

I mean,

You are funny and all.

You're very cute.

You're very funny,

But yeah,

You're not as funny as me because look at me.

I mean,

I'm awesome.

I'm so awesome.

Tucker interrupted.

Come on,

Diana.

Think of something funny about me because this one's going to be good.

Because when you do this practice,

When you do this exercise right.

The five funny things.

Say it fast.

Five funny things.

Everyone started saying fast.

Five funny things.

Five funny things.

Five funny things.

Come on,

Diana,

Say it.

Five funny things.

Five funny things.

Tucker kept saying.

Diana was going.

Five funny things.

Five funny things.

Tucker's going,

Yes,

That's it.

It's a bit of a tongue twister.

Yes.

Anyway,

So five funny things about me.

And you're going to think of these five funny things whenever you're feeling a little bit sad or a little bit upset about everything being so different because you're in Colorado.

Are you in Hawaii or somewhere like that?

So come on,

Five funny things about me.

Diana said,

Oh,

This one's really funny.

It's so funny.

I always can't help laughing.

And I don't know whether you know this,

Tucker,

But whenever you stretch,

You toot.

Tucker said,

What?

Cherry started laughing so loud.

He does.

He does.

That's so funny.

Tucker said,

I toot when I stretch.

Tucker stretched into a downward dog on the blanket.

And as soon as he did,

He tooted.

Oh,

Oh,

I never knew it.

I didn't even know that.

Leo said,

You've been doing that since you were four.

Tooting when I stretch?

Since I was four?

Tucker said.

Leo said,

Yes,

That's what you do.

She's right.

Tucker said,

Oh,

That is funny.

Oh,

I'm a tooting,

Stretching.

Do you know what?

I could never do a yoga class then,

Because if I went to a yoga class with lots and lots of other people or doggies or goats or kitties around me,

Then one,

I'd be very distracted.

But two,

I'd be tooting all the time.

Every time I did a downward dog,

I'd toot.

Downward tooting dog would be what they would call that pose from then on.

Everyone get into the downward tooting dog and everyone in class would start to toot every time.

That would be really fun.

OK,

What else?

What else?

What else do you like about me?

Funny.

Make it funny.

Make it really funny.

Diana started to think.

She said,

Oh,

I do like it when you drink out of the toilet.

That's funny.

I do like to drink out of the toilet.

It's like drinking from the ocean.

It's never ending.

Because as soon as the toilet gets low,

Someone comes along and flushes it somehow or some way,

And then it's all full again.

It's like a constant companion.

Leo said,

Yep,

That's that's actually true.

Tucker said,

What else?

What else?

Oh,

Said Diana.

I also like it a lot when you do the zoomies.

Oh,

I get in trouble for doing zoomies now,

You know.

I can't do zoomies at home because I crack the wall.

I was getting so good at my zoomies.

I would zoom to the left.

I would zoom to the right.

I would run across the living room and then I would run around and around the fireplace because it's one big circle.

And then I would run so hard at the wall and I would bounce off the wall and do the zoomies and run through the dog door and come back through the dog door and run around the fireplace and do the zoomies and bounce off the wall.

I cracked the wall,

Diana.

I cracked the wall.

Leo said,

Yes,

He did.

And he got in trouble.

Oh,

I did.

Mommy was not pleased.

Mommy said,

Tucker,

Stop the zoomies.

And I said,

I can't help the zoomies.

The zoomies are like an itch you cannot scratch.

They go through your body and they tickle and they tickle your bum.

And then when they tickle your bum,

You just gotta run.

You gotta run,

Diana.

You gotta run.

Diana started laughing.

She could just imagine Tucker doing the zoomies around the living room.

It's very funny.

Diana said,

I also like it when you eat toffees.

It's so cute.

Tucker said,

Oh,

I do like a toffee.

You know,

One time,

Diana,

I ate five toffees all at once.

Five toffees all at once.

And I couldn't clack my mouth open.

It was stuck so tightly.

Oh,

I was a bit scared.

Mommy was scared.

Mommy thought she might have to take me to the vets,

Right,

Leo?

Leo said,

Yes,

Yep,

I remember that.

Yep,

It was awful.

But then finally,

Mommy got her nails under them and they were all stuck on the top of my mouth and she picked them off one by one.

And then I was like,

Oh,

Thank goodness for that because I thought I wouldn't be able to drink out of the toilet ever again in my entire life.

I thought I might not be able to lick the puppies or lick the kitty cats or maybe lick children's faces when they've been eating something nice and tasty.

I thought I might never be able to lick anything ever again because my mouth was stuck.

Everything was stuck so tight.

Those toffees,

Though,

They were delicious.

Those toffees were the bestest toffees.

I think they were English toffees.

Ooh,

They were so nice.

What else?

What else do you love about me?

Tucker was getting that excited that he started spinning around on the blanket.

He started chasing his tail.

Diana said,

That,

I love that.

And she pointed to him.

He stopped running.

Ooh,

Yes,

I like that too.

It's like my tail is a squirrel.

I pretend it's a squirrel and I'm chasing it and chasing it and chasing it and I'm gonna get that bushy squirrel.

I'm gonna get that bushy,

Fluffy squirrel.

I'm gonna get it.

I'm gonna get it.

I'm gonna get it.

I'm gonna get it.

Ooh,

Let the dogs out.

Woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof.

Tucker started singing.

Cherry joined in.

Ooh,

Let the dogs out.

Woo,

Meow,

Meow,

Meow.

Ooh,

We should change it.

Ooh,

Let the cats out.

Meow,

Meow,

Meow,

Meow,

Meow.

No,

Tucker said.

It's doggies.

Ooh,

Let the doggies out.

Woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof,

Woof.

Cherry said,

OMG,

Tucker,

It's kitties.

Ooh,

Let the kitties out.

Meow,

Meow,

Meow,

Meow,

Meow.

Everyone else just watched as Tucker and Cherry had a battle off.

Who let the kitties out or who let the dogs out?

Did it really matter?

After a while,

Everyone calmed down and they were all laid there again on the blanket staring up at the big,

White,

Fluffy clouds.

They'd all dried off by now because it was a nice,

Warm summer's day.

Diana said,

Thank you so much for helping me with this.

I'm so glad I've got you all as friends.

And when I'm feeling sad,

Or I'm missing you,

Or I'm missing my mom,

Or I'm missing my dad,

Or I'm missing my grandma,

Or I'm missing my uncles or my auntie,

I am just gonna think of this.

Think of five things about my mom that's really funny.

Think of five things about my dad that's really funny.

Think of five things about my grandma that's really funny.

You can't help but cheer up,

Can you?

She said,

And everyone agreed that that was the whole point of the game and that Tucker was very,

Very smart.

Leo said,

Tucker is smart.

He just likes to disguise it a lot.

Tucker said,

What?

And then he started laughing.

The end.

Such a great med :)) Tucker getting taffy stuck in his teeth reminded me of the very first time I ever had a jolly rancher because I didnโ€™t know what they were and just bit down on it reeaaally hard and it got stuck, after a very large freak out I eventually just decided to cut it in half with scissors and pry it off my top and bottom teeth. It was chaotic lol
