It might be good evening.
It might be good afternoon.
It could be any time.
Hopefully it's the evening.
And then you can listen to the story and fall to sleep while you listen.
As you can see,
There's something very different about my face.
We're going to the spa.
I'm sparring while I talk to you.
Shall we go to the spa together?
Alright,
Let's go.
Are you ready?
To meditate.
With Kari.
Lay down in your bed.
No matter what time of day it is.
On the couch.
With your snuggly and your teddy.
And get comfortable.
So that you can relax for a bit as you listen to the story.
Stephanie.
Was very stressed.
Oh my goodness gracious me was she stressed.
It was exam week.
At school.
Test after test after test after test.
And Stephanie,
Even though she was very smart.
.
.
Got very stressed about tests.
She would always think that after she'd revised and.
.
.
And practiced and practiced and practiced and studied and studied and studied.
That she would forget absolutely everything.
It was a fear of hers to just get in the exam room.
Turn over the paper and just go blank.
Like everything just goes out of your mind.
And you can't remember a thing.
Anyway.
The whole thing was stressful.
She needed a break.
She put on her most comfortable sweatpants.
And a big,
Comfy,
Soft sweatshirt.
Shad on her.
Fuzzy slippers.
And she walked across her bedroom.
Sat down at a dresser.
Opened her magical jewelry box.
The magical earrings in.
Took a hold of them.
And already.
Started to tingle.
She closed her eyes.
Put the left earring on first.
Than the right.
And then she felt a tingle in her nose.
Tingling our fingers.
Tingle down her spine.
And tail.
She eventually felt the tingles all over her body.
She closed her eyes again.
And saw the veil.
The veil between her world.
And moonbow forest.
The place where.
.
.
Magic happen.
The place where you can eat almost anything you touch.
The place where there's strange creatures and so many fun things to do.
But most of all the place while Luna.
Her unicorn friend and all our other unicorn friends.
Resided.
She looked at the curtain there in front of her face,
The curtain that separated her from this world and that.
Took a big,
Deep breath.
Pull the curtain to one side.
And stepped in.
To that other world.
The other dimension.
The other reality.
Far,
Far away.
The first thing that she felt was the grass.
Underneath her feet.
Soft.
Yet prickly at the same time.
It felt spongy like a big,
Soft rug.
And she could smell the trees and mint chocolate leaves and all of the good things that she could always smell when she stepped through the veil.
And then she slowly opened her eyes and found herself in a field.
With Absolutely.
Nothing.
Just a feel.
Grass.
Underneath her feet.
There were no trees to the left.
No Luna,
Her friend.
No trees to the right.
She did a full circle.
As if she was an owl being able to turn her head all the way around.
Nothing.
All there was,
Was grass.
As far as our eyes could see.
And sky.
She had an overwhelming feeling to just lay down on the grass.
And do snow angels.
Even though it wasn't snowing.
It looked so soft and it felt so soft underneath her feet.
What would the rest of her body feel like laid on this grass?
What would it feel like to just let your whole body Sink in.
To the grass carpet.
Sounded kinda nice after the stressful week that she'd had.
Maybe this was all she came for.
Just to lay on the grass and look at the sky and just take a moment to stop worrying and stressing,
To just pause and be.
Peaceful for a change.
And Stephanie thought,
Well,
That's a little bit boring.
It's appealing.
Stephanie sat down first on the grass.
It was really soft underneath her bum cheeks.
And then she laid back.
And then she laid out her arms.
She opened her legs and let her feet relax.
Like a big starfish laid on the ground.
Took a nice,
Big,
Deep breath and started to stare at the beach.
Bright blue.
Clear sky.
Ah,
This is nice.
It smelled like fresh-cut grass.
As if some magical llama had been all over this ginormous field.
It smelled fresh and clean.
It felt like summer.
And it smelled like summer.
The sun was warm on her skin.
Check it here,
Birds.
But she couldn't see a name.
The sky was just completely empty.
It's definitely just like that.
And then she had.
It's about time.
She opened her eyes,
Expecting to see.
One of her friends.
She sat up and looked around,
Couldn't see anybody.
We have been waiting here for absolutely ages.
You know,
Sometimes People make appointments and then they don't turn up and it's so disrespectful.
But you're late,
At least you're here.
She heard.
She pulled a funny face like.
.
.
Who on earth is talking to me?
What is this?
She looked up,
No birds.
Nothing around because there was no trees,
There was no animals coming closer.
Maybe a tiny animal.
She was looking around on the grass,
Couldn't see anything.
And that.
She spotted.
Tiny.
Very cute.
Fucking snail.
Starting to slide up.
The side of our trousers.
It took its time until it got there to the top of her thigh.
And then it stared at her.
Eyes to eyes.
You're late,
You know.
But it's okay.
We can tell that you obviously are a little bit stressed.
May be overwhelmed.
Is that the case?
Stephanie said.
Point to end.
How this snail could tell that she was stressed,
But also.
.
.
Why was she late?
She wasn't right.
She hadn't made an appointment.
I don't think I'm late.
I didn't even know I'd be here.
Oh yes!
The snail said,
You're late,
You're late.
We knew it!
Let's get on with your treatment,
Shall we?
Because time is passing.
And us males were in demand.
The snails are in demand.
Okay,
Said Stephanie,
What should I do?
The snails add.
Well,
First of all,
You need to lay down again.
Way down.
Close your eyes and then just let us do our thing.
We're famous for it.
Stephanie said.
Oh,
Oh,
Okay.
She laid back.
On the grass.
Close your eyes.
And started to feel.
Hundreds.
Who knows,
Maybe thousands.
Of tiny little things.
Hopping onto a body.
Tiny.
The little snails.
Moving.
Slowly.
Her body.
From her feet.
Over a leg.
Over our arms,
Our hands,
Our shoulders,
Our tummy.
All the way.
Till they reached.
A face.
It was the weirdest.
Weirdest sensation.
Very strange.
Stephanie at first wasn't sure if she liked it.
But she could almost anticipate that they were making their way up to her face because she felt like they were going to do something.
She'd actually heard of snail cream,
Like you can buy moisturizers with snail slime in.
How disgusting,
But very true.
I think it's from Japan or China or something.
Anyway.
She almost knew their intention was to get to her face.
So even though it was a weird sensation,
All these little tiny things like moving over a close.
She thought,
Okay,
Just be patient.
And then.
.
.
It started.
And she heard classical music start to play.
In the background.
Classical music that was playing was so nice.
Very relaxing.
And the little snails.
Started to dance.
As if they were doing a waltz.
All over her cheeks,
Her chin,
Your eyes.
Her forehead,
Her neck,
Her throat.
The little lobes on our ears.
They were going back.
And fought.
Back and forth.
Do do do do turn around turn around da da da da da da da da da da Da da da da da.
Do-do-do-do-do do-do-do-do-do do-do-do-do-do do-do-do-do-do Oh my goodness.
It was so relaxing.
Their little sluggy bodies.
Sliding and guiding as if they were ice skating over Stephanie's face.
It sounds so gross!
But it wasn't.
It was so relaxing.
Just the right amount of pressure.
And whatever the snails were oozing out of their body,
That shiny,
Glittery,
Silvery slime of theirs,
It was cool.
And refreshing.
And it smelled light.
Lavender.
And the music was playing.
Da da da da da and their little bodies were patting and smoothing.
And sometimes they were tapping.
And needing.
All over her beautiful relaxed Fate.
Ah,
This is delicious.
Her shoulders started to get super,
Super relaxed.
She felt all the stress leave in her body.
Her breath changed and got deeper.
And deeper and slower and slower.
She could feel herself starting to sink into the ground.
The self.
Spongy grass.
Underneath her body.
And the music still played.
Da da da,
Da da da,
Da da da.
Do do do do do do do do do Da da da da.
Do do do do do The little snails just waltzed.
And tap.
And slide it and glide it.
And massaged all of the tiny little muscles in her face.
Her jaw got nice and soft and relaxed.
She could feel in them,
Put little eye masks on underneath her eyes and whatever was on the eye masks tingled.
As if it was tightening the skin around her eyes.
Removing all the puffy and shadows and swelling from breathing.
Being stressed and not sleeping so good.
Then they went down her neck.
Did across her shoulders and that bit was so yummy.
She laughed every minute.
They even massaged.
Very gently.
Around her mouth.
Across the lip.
She could feel herself falling to sleep.
It was so good.
Smell of lavender and fresh cut grass and everything good in the world.
And these tiny little magical snails from Mumbo Forest.
Were the bestest little spa snails that she'd ever,
Ever,
Ever experienced.
Would she ever experience this in the real world?
Of course not!
It made it even more special.
It was so good.
Eventually.
Stephanie got heavier.
She could hear herself start to snore a little bit.
But she couldn't open her eyes.
All her face got soft and floppy.
Just slobbering a little bit.
Thank you.
And she just gave in.
She let herself.
Fall to sleep.
And the sleep was sweet.
And it smelled so good.
And it felt like she was on this big,
Soft,
Fluffy rug.
And she felt safe.
Not stressed.
Very calm and relaxed.
She felt good.
Here in Rainbow Forest.
And she slept.
The best sleep that she'd had in a long,
Long time.
Time.
And when Stephanie woke up.
.
.
She looked up and saw the fan on the ceiling in her bedroom.
She realised she was back in bed.
She got up and went over to her dresser.
Looked at the mirror.
And saw that she had eye masks on.
Just like mine.
That those snails had been doing magic while she was there.
Her face looked all fresh and healthy and glowy.
No bags under her eye.
And she felt awesome.
Like she just had the best recharge of her life.
The end.
