Find a comfortable and quiet space where you can lie down away from any distractions.
You can use a yoga mat or a couch or bed.
Close your eyes and let's begin.
Take a few deep breaths to settle into your space.
As you inhale visualize gathering fresh energy and as you exhale release any tension or fatigue.
Set an intention for this power nap to rejuvenate your energy and clarity during the middle of the day.
Repeat your intention silently to yourself three times.
Let's begin by bringing your awareness to your right hand.
Feel the sensations in your right hand thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger and pinky.
Imagine a warm soothing light spreading from your right hand to your wrist,
Forearm and elbow.
Feel the tension melting away.
Now shift your awareness to your left hand repeating the process thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger and pinky.
Visualize the soothing light moving from your left hand to your wrist,
Forearm and elbow and bring your awareness up to your chest and stomach.
Focusing on your breath notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest and stomach as you breathe naturally.
Feel the air entering and leaving your nostrils.
With each breath imagine yourself inhaling fresh energy and exhaling any fatigue or stress.
Breathing in,
Now envision a peaceful natural setting,
Perhaps a serene beach,
A lush forest or a tranquil garden.
Don't think too hard,
Just wherever your mind takes you and imagine yourself there,
Absorbing the rejuvenating energy of this place.
Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,
The gentle breeze and the soothing sounds around you.
Take a moment to immerse yourself fully in this calming environment.
Now repeat these affirmations to yourself silently,
Feeling their positive impact.
I am filled with boundless energy and vitality.
My mind is clear and focused.
I am ready to conquer the rest of my day with enthusiasm.
I slowly count backwards from 10 to 1.
With each number imagine yourself descending deeper into relaxation and energy restoration.
And as you reach 1,
Allow yourself to remain in this state of deep relaxation for a moment.
When you are ready,
Slowly begin to bring awareness back to your body and surroundings.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Stretch your arms and legs and when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
