As we start this meditation,

Designed to help you close out your work day,

Before you transition to whatever is next,

I want you to find your way into a comfortable,

Supported position,

Either sitting in a chair or lying down on the floor.

Let your hands gently rest in your lap or at your sides,

And allowing your whole body to start to unwind from the day.

Start to take some easy,

Slow,

Deep breaths,

Letting the tasks of the day go as you exhale,

And breathing in clean,

Fresh air as you inhale.

Now picture yourself walking into an empty,

Quiet,

White room,

A transition space where you can take some time to reset between work and whatever is next in your day.

And walking into this room,

You find that the lights automatically start to dim into a soft,

Gentle glow,

And in front of you,

In the middle of the room,

You see a large,

Comfortable chair with a footrest.

And you walk towards this chair,

Feeling it calling you forward,

And a place to unwind,

Recline,

To relax and let go.

Imagine yourself sitting down in this comfortable chair,

Letting your body slowly sink into the soft cushions that envelop and support you.

Let yourself relax into this comfortable chair,

In this quiet room,

Free from distractions and clutter and noise.

Again,

Turning your attention to your breath as you gently inhale and exhale,

Breathing in a sense of calm and peace,

And breathing out all of the stress and busyness of work.

Breathing in relaxation,

And breathing out all the demands and interactions with others.

Knowing your workday is now done.

As you comfortably relax into this large,

Supportive chair,

You start to notice a ball of glowing,

Golden,

White light hovering just above your head.

This golden light has the ability to cleanse and clear whatever space it touches,

Leaving it free and open,

And reset from the day like a blank slate.

Now imagine this golden ball of light slowly starting to move its way down into the crown of your head,

Slowly making its way down through your forehead and down your face,

Clearing away all the thoughts from the day,

Releasing any tension held in the muscles in your face,

Your temples,

Your jaw,

Unclenching any stress and wiping the slate clean.

This soft,

Golden light clears the space as it keeps moving down through your neck and down across your shoulders,

Slowly making its way down through your chest and upper back,

Washing away the day as it moves over you.

And if you find yourself getting distracted,

Know that that's okay too.

Simply try to refocus your attention again on this golden ball of light moving its way through you.

Keep pulling this soft light down through both your arms,

Down into your torso,

Clearing the way of any stress left behind,

And your body already starting to feel lighter as it works its way down.

Imagine this golden ball of light moving down further into your hips and pelvis,

Down through the bottom of your seat,

Moving down and across your thighs and the back of your legs,

And washing away all the stress on your body from walking,

Standing,

Moving,

Or sitting.

Washing away and leaving you feeling free and clear and restored.

And keep pulling that light down through your knees,

Down into your calves and lower legs,

Clearing the space with its bright golden light.

Slowly pulling it down into your ankles and your feet,

Down through your toes,

Clearing every cell in your body,

Leaving them refreshed and restored,

And back to its baseline of calm.

And your body is now left sitting in this comfortable chair,

In this quiet,

Empty room,

Fully cleansed of the workday,

Wiped clean as though the whole day was washed from you and is now dripping down through the floor and out of your system.

And let yourself take a few more slow breaths,

Really feeling into this clean,

Fresh,

Restored energy inside of you.

As you start to get ready to move into whatever is next in your day,

You slowly start to stand up from the chair,

Standing in place for a moment before you leave this quiet room,

And letting your body gently stretch from head to toe.

Starting to stretch your arms overhead,

Stretch out your back and down to your legs.

You might want to move gently from side to side,

Slightly shaking off any last little bits that might have been left behind.

Your body and system now back to a new state,

A blank canvas for whatever is next.

Picture yourself slowly starting to walk towards the door on the other side of the room,

Ready to leave this transition space behind for the day,

Knowing that you can return any time you need to transition again.

And as you step out of the door,

You turn off the lights,

And ready to move on to what's next.

Great way to transition from work. I actually fell asleep, so will need to revisit it. Feeling super relaxed. Thank you! 🙏🏻
