
Living A Positive Life
A helpful meditation helping us to live a more positive life.
Transcript
Breathe slowly,
Breathe deeply.
Breathe slowly,
Breathe deeply.
Good.
As your mind becomes more quiet,
More centered,
More at peace,
The thoughts are like waves on a quiet pond that go to the shore and really don't return so that the pond becomes still and quiet.
And then we can look deep within and see the beauty,
See the wonders that lie deep,
Deep within us.
And as we discover all the wonders,
All the beauty,
All the peacefulness deep,
Deep inside of us,
This motivates us,
This inspires us to make our external world the same,
Peaceful,
Beautiful,
Kind.
So what we do as we go through our life,
Go through our day,
Is that we are attracted towards that which is beautiful,
That which is kind,
That which is peaceful outside of us.
So for example,
When we spend time with friends,
We spend time with friends who are kind,
Who are loving,
Who are gentle,
Who are positive towards us and towards themselves.
And if for some reason this changes,
We just continue to love them but gently walk away until we can find that kindness and beauty manifesting elsewhere.
This may mean that you don't spend time with them for a little bit or may mean not spending time with them for a while.
It's really up to them because you're wanting to just be around kind,
Loving,
Positive people.
They are welcome into your world as long as they love you and themselves well.
And if their behavior changes towards the positive,
You welcome them with open,
Loving arms.
In regards to music,
When you get in your car,
When you're getting ready for the morning,
When you're busy around the house,
Again,
You are attracted towards that which is beautiful,
That which is kind,
That which is loving,
Surrounding yourself with beautiful,
Loving,
Kind music.
This is where your heart is.
This is where your heart wants to be.
And the wonderful thing about music is you can find those artists that truly speak to your deep soul inside of you that you discover in meditation as you quiet the waters and look deep,
Deep within.
Music is something that can be such a blessing.
So surround yourself with loving,
Kind,
Positive words.
Music when it's beautiful can be like a sunset,
So enriching,
So attractive,
So loving.
Surround yourself with only beautiful music.
Keep breathing deeply.
Keep breathing slowly.
Breathe slowly.
Breathe deeply.
And as you continue to grow and be attracted towards only that which is beautiful,
That which is kind,
That which is loving,
That which is positive,
Now as you watch television or listen to talk radio or surf the internet,
Again your heart is attracted towards only those things which enrich your soul,
Which allow you to have such a beautiful,
Wonderful life so the images are positive.
The relationships you see enacted on the theater or on the screen are kind and loving and this is what your heart is attracted towards.
This is where you go and you stay away from the images that are dark,
The images that hurt you and only go towards that which causes you positive,
Loving sensations all around you and within you.
Keep breathing deeply.
Keep breathing slowly.
Good.
And when you go to your work,
It's the same.
You cultivate at work a positive,
Loving,
Kind encounter with everyone that you work with,
Whether it be an employee,
Whether it be a customer,
Whether it be a student,
Whether it be a child if you stay home with your children.
Whoever you spend your time with at work,
Do it in a loving,
Kind,
Positive way and also expecting the same back from those around you.
When they don't treat you that way,
Just walk away and then come back to them when they're being loving and kind.
And as you are able to exude this all around you,
Even when those around you aren't following your lead initially,
They'll see the positive effects of living a positive life and they'll choose perhaps to join you.
And if they don't,
You'll find others who will because there are people out there who realize that inside of each and every one of us is beauty,
Is love,
Is kindness.
We all want it.
We all can have it.
We just need to be still and surround ourselves with that which is positive,
Loving and kind.
Good.
Good.
Breathe slowly.
Breathe deeply.
Breathe slowly.
Breathe deeply.
You also find yourself far more attracted to nature because nature is so beautiful,
So loving and so kind.
It really helps you reconnect with that deep self inside of you.
When you're in nature,
When you're in the solitude of the great expanse,
What you find is your heart stills.
You become quiet.
And the beauty and the love slowly but gently grow inside of you and become who you are.
Continue to breathe slowly.
Continue to breathe deeply.
Good.
