Welcome to this extra long deep sleep meditation.
Tonight we will start with a guided meditation which will then lead you into long deep sleep with gentle music in the background.
Making yourself completely comfortable,
Making sure you are set up for a good night's sleep.
There is nothing you need to do,
Nowhere to be except in your comfortable bed.
Take a long deep inhale in through your nose,
Let it go with a sigh,
Just letting go of your day,
Scanning your body from the top of your head all the way to your toes,
Making sure that every part of tension is gone from your body.
Nowhere to be except your comfortable bed,
This is your time to rest,
Closing your eyes over if you haven't already done so and begin to notice your breathing.
No need to change it,
Just noticing,
Noticing how your body is supported in your bed,
You are safe here.
Take a nice big long breath in,
Letting it go with a sigh,
With every exhale letting go of the day,
Letting go of conversations,
Letting go of thoughts,
Everything can wait until tomorrow.
Right now there is only rest,
Feel the skin on your forehead softened,
Feel your jaw unclenching,
Sinking into your bed,
Your arms are heavy,
Your hands are relaxed,
Your chest is soft,
Your hips are sinking,
Legs are heavy,
Your whole body beginning to feel heavier and heavier as you drift off to sleep,
Like a soft blanket of calm over you.
You don't need to continue to listen,
You don't need to follow anything,
You can just simply drift and if thoughts appear just let them float by like clouds,
No effort,
No engagement,
Just drifting off with every breath,
Sinking a little deeper,
Sleep will come naturally,
Easily,
In its own perfect time.
You don't need to try to sleep,
You just need to rest and as my voice becomes softer,
More distant,
You may not even notice when sleep takes you,
Drifting,
Floating,
Letting go,
You are safe,
You are supported and you can rest knowing you are asleep,
Calm,
