(Wk 5) Gratitude Part 4 Of 5 - Unleash Your Peace
by Ellie Shoja
Can you appreciate your way into more influence? On the fourth day of our discussion of the importance of gratitude, we explore a side-effect of being grateful that may be a bit more obscure: its ability to raise our vibration into actually being more charismatic and more influential.

Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.
My name is Elly Shojia,
Your host.
I am a positive mindset coach,
A personal transformation expert,
And a deliberate creator.
I'm also your peace trainer and this podcast is your peace training.
Every single week we pick a different topic to dive into and these topics are really deep and profound.
They are about the internal world,
That non-physical,
Infinite part of yourself that holds all of your potential,
All of the answers to any question that you can possibly ask.
It is all inside of you and our goal is to dig in and find our way to those answers so that you can start shedding all of that excess weight that you're carrying,
All this unwanted pain that you may be dragging with you from year to year.
We want to find lasting internal peace so that you can live your best life yet.
When you live from that place of joy,
Peace,
Connectedness,
You don't just incrementally improve the quality of your life when you do that.
You actually exponentially innovate every aspect of your physical experiences on this physical plane.
You level up in a major way and you become your whole beautiful,
Powerful self and you live an authentic life of your dreams.
Not only that,
You also become an uplifter in your family,
In your community.
You make this world a better place just by your presence.
Now this week we have a huge topic.
Our topic is gratitude.
This very simple thing that is at the core of creation itself.
It is at the core of the law of attraction.
It is at the core of anything that we will and create into existence.
It is the emotional signature of creation and we've been talking about that this entire week.
We've talked about how it assists law of attraction into bringing what you want into your life.
We talked about what if you're nowhere in the vicinity of gratitude,
How do you find your way there so that you can actually take advantage of the benefits of gratitude.
And yesterday we talked about the connection between gratitude and creativity and we even talked about how to enter that creative flow,
That place of infinite answers and just the free flow of information,
The place of complete co-creation with your inner being.
How do you tap into that?
One way you tap into that very easily is through gratitude.
So a very powerful emotion to cultivate within yourself.
Now today I want to give you one more reason,
Another aspect of gratitude to give you more incentive,
Even more incentive than you already have.
I don't know what's bigger incentive than living the life of your dreams,
But hey,
You know,
I'll give you one more incentive to experience gratitude,
To cultivate gratitude within yourself.
If you're even still on the fence about,
Hey,
Is this something I want to do?
Do I want to wake up and give thanks every day?
Here is one more reason.
So if you don't want to do it for yourself,
If you don't want to do it for your ability to be more creative,
If you don't want to do it for your ability to create the life of your dreams,
Do it for your bottom line.
The fact of the matter is gratitude is very practical for your job,
For your career,
For your business.
It is good for business to cultivate gratitude within yourself and within your company as well if you are a business owner.
And I'm going to tell you why that is.
Studies actually show that people who experience and cultivate gratitude within themselves on a regular basis benefit from better wellbeing.
They have better health,
They exercise more because they feel like they want to exercise more.
They have increased optimism,
They have improved sleep and all of those things are essentially good for your bottom line because they're good for productivity.
So if you are well rested,
You're exercising more,
You're feeling more motivated,
You're feeling more positive,
You have an increased general sense of wellbeing,
You're going to be more productive because you are going to be able to focus much better at the task at hand.
Now that's not the only reason gratitude is good for your bottom line.
Gratitude actually makes you more influential.
When you are experiencing gratitude,
It raises your vibrational signature.
So you're actually vibrating at a higher frequency when you are experiencing gratitude.
Now what that does,
If you have that raised vibration and you walk into a meeting,
You are immediately elevating the vibrational signature of every conversation,
Of every meeting you step into.
Now a raised vibration will also make you more charismatic.
It makes you more grounded.
It makes people a lot more comfortable when they are around you.
Now try this next time you have an important meeting or an interview or something like that.
Sit in your office or in your car,
Wherever you can have a few minutes of alone time and make a list of things you're grateful for and really cultivate that feeling of gratitude in yourself and you'll feel it.
I mean if you've been doing these exercises I've been throwing at you throughout the week,
You already know what that feels like.
So cultivate it,
Raise your vibration,
Step into that place of feeling so thankful,
So appreciative,
So grateful.
If it's an interview,
Being so grateful for everything that you bring to the table,
For the opportunity to be able to walk in and have this interview,
For having the skills that you possess that open the door to this interview,
Just feeling so incredibly grateful.
And then as we did yesterday,
You can transfer that feeling of gratitude into the outcome that you want.
Experience receiving that job or receiving the raise or receiving the outcome that you want in that meeting and it really feeling grateful for it.
And then walk into that meeting,
Walk into that interview and see what happens.
See how people respond to you,
Observe how others interact with you just from the get go.
And really observe the power of your influence when you come into a meeting,
When you come into a conversation from a place of gratitude,
From a place of feeling really grounded in that appreciation and that thankfulness of gratitude.
Now I'm saying that gratitude is good for your bottom line and I'm giving you this very specific examples of using gratitude in the workplace to raise your vibration so that you are more charismatic,
You are more grounded when you're going into these meetings so that people can hear what you have to say with much greater clarity.
However,
This exercise of gratitude,
This influence you have on the people around you doesn't stop at the workplace obviously.
If you are driving home and you start cultivating that gratitude within yourself before you get home,
You'll find that your interactions with your spouse,
With your children are going to be deeper,
They're going to be more pleasurable simply because you're walking into the door with this higher raised vibration of gratitude.
Now if you sit down at dinner every night with your family and you go around and you cultivate this feeling of gratitude with your family,
You'll find that your interactions and your influences on each other is going to shift and change and be elevated as well.
So your children might actually feel like they can express themselves better when they need to communicate something that they feel you don't understand and vice versa,
You might find a better way to communicate concepts and ideas and guidelines to your children that are easier for them to understand and receive.
So our influence on the people around us is elevated,
It's changed in a positive way when we cultivate gratitude within ourselves.
It's such a powerful,
Powerful tool for allowing us to communicate what is within us with a lot more clarity,
With less defensiveness,
With more love and compassion,
With less frustration and anger,
With more influence.
So today I will leave you with that.
That is a huge piece of gratitude.
It might be an aspect of gratitude that you may not have thought about in the past but I hope that it gives you even more ammunition to practice this very simple,
Easy thing that you can literally do in your car as you're going to sleep,
As you're waking up,
Waiting in line,
Using the restroom.
No matter what you're doing,
You can give thanks in some way and you can elevate your own vibration and become more creative and become more influential and become more charismatic as a result.
So I hope you really find inspiration in this week's topic to cultivate this within yourself and within your family and community.
And until we come back tomorrow to conclude this very important topic,
