
(Wk 6) Body + Mind Part 4 Of 5 - Unleash Your Peace

Your thoughts made you sick. Can they make you well? On the fourth day of our discussion about the mind/body connection, we discuss how alignment and misalignment with our Inner Being manifests itself within the body. We also discuss how our thoughts create chemical reactions within the body which can change the physiology of our bodies when we are frequently exposed to the same thoughts and their resulting emotions.

Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.
My name is Ali Shoja.
I am your host.
I am a positive mindset coach,
A personal transformation expert.
I am a deliberate creator and I am your peace trainer.
In this podcast,
We take a different topic about the internal world every single week and we dig into it over the course of five episodes,
Released consecutively Monday through Friday and every day we go a little bit deeper into that topic.
And the whole point of this,
The goal here is to look inward so that we can shed all of this excess weight that we are carrying,
All this unwanted pain that we lug around with us.
We want to shed all that weight so that we can tap into the lasting internal peace that's within us so we can live our best lives yet.
When you live from a place of joy and peace and connectedness to that infinite potential part of yourself,
You don't just incrementally improve the quality of your life,
You actually exponentially innovate every aspect of your experiences on this physical plane.
That's when you level up and you become your whole beautiful,
Powerful self and you become an uplifter in your family,
In your community and that trickles out into the world and this is how we essentially save the world,
Just one person at a time living their authenticity,
Living their dreams.
Now this week we are talking about the mind and body connection.
This was inspired because last week I got sick.
I stopped the flow of energy that was going through me.
Everything was moving way too fast and I stopped it by introducing some resistance into the mix and resistance sometimes can manifest itself as physical illness and when I was able to release that resistance and come to terms with it,
The illness went away and I essentially healed myself of the illness by allowing the energy to continue flowing through me at whatever rate it wanted to.
Now yesterday and the day before we did talk about spontaneous remissions.
People who experience spontaneous healing,
They heal themselves of much greater things than a common cold,
Things like cancer and MS and if you're interested in that,
You can check out those episodes.
There's some resources that I mentioned that you can look into.
Today I want to talk a little bit more about this alignment and misalignment with our inner being and how that manifests itself within the body because we are essentially two things.
We are not just this physical body and we've talked about this during the first week we spent together.
We're not just one physical entity.
That is only part of what the human being actually is.
That's our human part.
Our beingness is the nonphysical.
It's that infinite potential part of us.
It's the consciousness of which we are made,
The consciousness that actually observed this physical body into existence so that it could have an experience of creation and of expansion.
This consciousness,
We are calling it the inner being.
You can call it whatever feels right for you.
You can call it the universe.
You can call it your subconscious.
You can call it the divine within you.
You can call it God.
You can call it your soul,
Your spirit,
Whatever you want to call it.
That is absolutely fine.
We are calling it the inner being.
So what does this alignment or a misalignment with your inner being look like within the body?
To kind of understand that,
We got to understand the connection between the thoughts that we think and the emotions that we have.
So when you have a thought,
A chemical reaction happens within the body.
That chemical reaction might generate a sensation within the body.
It might generate some kind of an emotion or feeling within the body.
If you keep stewing within whatever chemical soup it is that you're creating,
You are actually changing the physiology of your body.
And that is evidenced with somebody who is very happy all the time,
Who thinks very happy thoughts constantly,
Sees the positive in things,
Sees the potential of success in every endeavor.
That person is going to have a different physiology,
Different chemistry within their brains,
Within their body than somebody who is depressed or sees something always from the lens of anxiety or things are not ever working out for them and things are always on the negative side.
So why does that matter?
And the answer to that is so simple that you most likely have the answer already.
It matters because if our thoughts are so powerful that they are actually altering our physiology,
Then is it not wise to find a way,
Learn a way to control our thoughts,
To have thoughts that are better for the body than thoughts that are worse for it?
So is it not to our advantage to actually change the thoughts we have to make them more aligned with what we actually want out of life rather than what we don't want?
So yes,
We can argue that thoughts are important and it is important to align ourselves with thoughts that are better for us.
Why again does that matter?
Why does it matter if we feel good or if we feel not so good,
If we feel crappy all the time?
Why is that significant?
And the reason that's significant,
The reason that's important is because when we are feeling good,
When we feel high vibration emotions like love and anticipation and joy and happiness and excitement,
We are actually in the vicinity of our inner being.
We are aligned with our inner beings.
Now is it still surprising to see that people who are happier get sick less frequently?
People who are in a place of joy,
People who are positive all the time,
People who have positive expectation,
They suffer from fewer physical ailments and illnesses and things like that.
When we feel better,
We actually align ourselves with well-being.
So our well-being lives within our connection to our inner being.
The opposite is true when we are misaligned.
So if you are fostering thoughts and ideas that are constantly getting you down,
They're making you feel anxious,
They're making you feel bad about yourself,
They're making you feel depressed,
They're making you feel hopeless,
And so you are no longer in the vicinity of your inner being,
You're very far away from it.
So what happens then to your body?
You start developing ailments within the body.
People start developing heart problems,
Anxiety-related problems,
All sorts of dietary problems.
They can't digest certain foods,
They can't sleep,
Their joints hurt,
Their bodies hurt,
Their backs hurt.
All of these things,
Their bodies start falling apart because that is actually a sign of misalignment with your inner being.
So when we are not aligned with our inner being,
When we are not in a place of joy and happiness and all of this high vibrational stuff,
That takes its toll on the body.
So what is the action item here?
If you don't like the life you're living right now,
If you are not in alignment with your inner being and you see the evidence of that misalignment all over your life,
Where do you make the change?
You make the change on the level of your thoughts.
You choose better feeling thoughts and that is the key here,
Better feeling thoughts.
Stop the momentum of the thoughts that are not serving you,
That are not feeling good.
Once that momentum is stopped,
Look at the situation and say,
What can I think right now where I can feel a little bit better?
And I guarantee you,
You ask yourself that question.
If you're willing to look at a situation differently for it to feel better,
If you're willing to do that,
You will find a thought that is better feeling and you are going to be on your way towards alignment with your inner being and therefore on your way towards wellbeing.
Now I will leave you with this.
This is a really big topic over here and it's so powerful,
So important and I hope you really take it to heart.
And if you are struggling with these things that you use this opportunity to look at your thoughts a little bit more closely and choose better feeling thoughts and you can uplift yourself.
Ultimately,
When you're uplifted,
Everyone around you will be uplifted as well and the world becomes a better place when you are in alignment with your inner being.
