Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.
My name is Elly Shojaei.
I am your host.
I am a positive mindset coach,
A personal transformation expert,
A deliberate creator,
And I am your peace trainer.
And this podcast,
Unleash Your Peace,
Is a peace training of sorts.
Every single week,
We tap into a different aspect of the internal world.
We pick a topic and we dig into it through five episodes that we then release Monday through Friday.
Now,
These episodes are quite short.
I try to keep them to under 10 minutes so that they are really bite-sized for you.
You can listen to them in the morning,
On your commute,
On your walk,
And you can be inspired.
When we turn the lens inward,
We end up finding some lasting internal peace that is within us,
And we end up living our best lives yet.
When we live from this place of peace and joy and connectedness to the greater part of ourselves,
The non-physical part of ourselves,
We don't just incrementally improve the quality of our lives.
We exponentially innovate every aspect of our experiences on this physical plane.
And that is when we level up in a really major way.
We become our whole beautiful,
Powerful creator selves.
And that exactly is my wish for you.
We've had six full weeks together.
We're entering our seventh week,
And I'm hoping that these topics have been beneficial for you.
And one of the biggest topics that we could potentially possibly talk about,
That is the topic for this week,
And that is forgiveness.
Forgiveness is perhaps one of the most important skills that we can learn as human beings in order to reconnect us to our inner beings.
It is something that has the power to give us true freedom.
And what do I mean by freedom?
So many of us live our lives completely prisoner,
Not only to our emotions,
But also to our past,
To events,
To people.
We imprison ourselves.
We create cages for ourselves with our inability to forgive.
So this week I really do want to tap into what is forgiveness?
Why is it so important to forgive?
There is a very big misunderstanding of what forgiveness is.
Most people that I actually talk with don't know what true forgiveness actually is.
So I do want to clarify what forgiveness is.
And I also want to talk about how important it is to forgive ourselves.
So I hope you come along on this journey this week.
Such a huge,
Huge topic,
But it is something that really can unshackle you and allow you to soar and become truly your whole beautiful,
Powerful self,
Which is my wish for you.
Now most people think forgiveness is this.
I do something wrong to you.
I do something that is hurtful.
And at some point you rise up above that act and you say from up there where you are,
You say I am better than what you have done.
And I forgive you.
And something is supposed to happen in that space.
When that kind of forgiveness happens,
Nothing actually happens in that space other than more.
