Morning Light During the stillness of night come many dreams,
Dark and foreboding as legendary scenes.
All fears of dealing with life's many turns flood my mind,
Making indelible burns.
During the day when all seems fine,
The confidence I need to survive is mine.
But all alone with my thoughts at night,
There are times when I want to give up my fight.
So I lie very still waiting for hope,
Of finding a way of making it easier to cope.
And soon I see a new day being born,
The sun giving light,
Taking away my scorn.
I remember what living is all about and just pondering on it erases my doubt.
The beauty of it all compels me to say,
I'll try it again for one more day.
