It's time to snuggle down into your bed now and make yourself all warm and cosy.

Perfect.
I think we're ready.
So gently close your eyes and take a soft deep breath in through your nose and let it out slowly through your mouth.
That's it.
Let's do that again just like Tinker and Davey do before they go on their adventures.
Let's breathe in.
Breathing in the calm and quiet.
Breathing out any worries that we've had today.
Say goodbye to those worries.
Good.
You're so good at this.
Let's take another deep breath in.
Let's do it together.
You ready?
Breathing in.
Oh feeling nice and relaxed.
And softly breathe out through your mouth.
So tonight we'll join Tinker and Davey as they travel high into the starry sky.
If you haven't met Tinker and Davey before,
They are two little dogs that live with their humans and their friends,
Poppy and Molly Cat.
Poppy is an extra large cat which means she has to have an extra large cat door.
But this is just perfect for Tinker and Davey because they fit through that cat door.
And at night it turns into a magical portal that takes them on all sorts of adventures.
In the quiet house where the humans lived and everybody was asleep,
The two cheeky doggies stretched awake.
Both of them looked towards the extra large cat door.
Tinker got up first,
Stretched her little legs as far as she could stretch them,
And made her way over to the door.
See at night the cat door shimmered with starlight and this always made Tinker's ears twitch.
Shall we Davey?
She whispered.
Davey wagging his tail.
Gave a big stretch.
Stood up as tall as his little legs could let him.
Nodded his head and said,
Yes.
And they stepped through the magical portal.
The air shimmered around them and suddenly the garden outside was filled with silver light.
In front of them a staircase made entirely of stars stretched upward into the night sky.
Tinker's tail wagged.
Look Davey,
A star staircase!
Step by step,
They climbed each stair.
Their paws as light as feathers.
With each step,
The stars beneath them glowed gently like little lanterns.
All around them,
They could see the stars were making different shapes.
These shapes in the stars are called constellations and for Tinker and Davey,
They came alive.
There was one that looked very familiar and Davey turned to Tinker and said,
Tinker,
Look at that one.
It's waving.
It looks like a bear.
And he was right.
It was called the Great Bear and it was waving.
A sleepy paw at Tinker and Davey.
Then they looked over and saw Orion.
And he gave a nod to Tinker and Davey.
As they continued to look around into the stars,
They saw them twinkling almost like the stars were blinking and nodding at them and saying hello.
Then suddenly,
Tinker saw it.
Davey,
Look!
Whoosh!
And as Davey looked up,
He just caught the end of a shooting star.
Tinker had closed her eyes and she made a wish.
Because that is what you do when you see a shooting star.
Davey said,
Tinker,
Did you just make a wish?
I did,
Davey,
I did.
Tell me what it is.
But Tinker wouldn't.
You see,
If you see a shooting star and you make a wish,
It's a secret and you mustn't tell anybody.
Take a deep breath in as you imagine gazing at the stars.
And let it out,
Feeling your body light and calm.
Tinker and Davey made their way to the top of the staircase.
And another star came passing by.
But this one slowed down.
Hop on,
It whispered kindly.
Tinker and Davey smiled and their tails wagged and wagged and wagged.
They climbed straight onto the sparkling back of this beautiful star.
And whoosh!
Off they glided across the night sky,
Tails wagging as the cool wind brushed their fur.
Below them,
They saw the earth glowing softly.
And above them,
They saw the endless stars twinkle like friendly night lights.
The stars sang gently as it carried them.
You are safe,
You are calm,
You are so,
So loved.

And as the stars sang,
Davey and Tinker took another beautiful breath in.

At last,
They floated to a quiet,
Glowing moon.
And the moon smiled warmly at them.
Rest,
Little ones,
You are part of the stars now,
And you can always return when you wish.
The moonlight wrapped them in a blanket and Tinker curled up against Davey.
Their eyes grew heavier and just like Tinker and Davey,
All wrapped in their moonlit blanket.
You can rest now too.
So take a soft breath in,
And let it out slowly.
Your body's feeling nice and heavy now and so warm.
And your breath is calm and steady.
You are safe,
You are loved,
You can drift into your dreams.
