You are moving through your life just trying to get it all done,

Trying to keep up,

Trying to make sense of things.

There are those who seem to occupy their own beauty so easily.

Some who won the genetic lottery,

Some who seem a little more French than the rest of us.

But within you is a way of being in the world that is so beautiful it restores you in a way that's difficult to describe.

You inhale,

You exhale,

And again inhale.

You are ready to let go,

To go somewhere else,

Somewhere where you meet yourself and can rest in who you are.

A place where you can be at ease,

Radiate,

And enjoy your life just a bit more.

Your beauty is not what you think.

It's not a posture.

It's not the clothes or makeup or anything external.

It's not about impressing someone or fitting in.

It's not about matching an ideal or being good enough.

It's about letting all that go and allowing yourself to listen to a bigger flow,

To let the grace and beauty that is yours into your life.

It will change you.

Maybe even impact your face.

And when you find it for yourself,

You will much more easily see it in others.

Are you ready?

There's nothing shameful in wanting to be beautiful.

That's you remembering who you are.

It's about accessing a deeper,

Broader beauty that is always there for you.

And so,

A dark rock face looms over you as you walk through a narrow green mountain gorge.

The only sound is your shoes on pebbles as you walk this mountain pass.

You are heading away from everything,

And now you are high enough that there are patches of snow on the trail.

You make it through one narrow pass after another,

Scraping your clothes in the narrow bits.

Dampness rests on your face.

The air is getting a bit thin.

The light at the next narrow is particularly bright,

And you squint until you reach the opening.

There,

Ahead of you,

Is a wide greenish-brown countryside with little hills and little valleys.

A small brook is on your left,

And it zigzags down the hill.

Next to it is a trail of rich brown soil and pebbles and roots.

You feel the sun on your face as you step onto the path.

The smell of fresh grass meets you now as you breathe easily and slowly and organically.

You descend the valley,

And little creatures frolic in the nearby grasses.

A squirrel,

A grasshopper,

Some birds.

There's a softness to the air as you hear some birds chirping lightly in the distance.

The burbling brook at your side.

You stop by this brook and dip your finger in.

The cool on your skin is bracing and feels fresh.

You drop more of your burdens and relax into this place.

With cool hands,

You stand up and move into a gentle hill with poplars,

And you see a rain shower on the other side of the valley.

Up ahead,

The brook you've been following widens and flattens a bit.

The large trees arch up on either side.

It's warmer down here,

And you are ready to take a dip in the water.

You walk into the brook with bare feet,

Into the cool embrace of this water.

It's shallow,

And you sit down in the riverbed and lie back.

The soft stones below you massage your back.

The sand in the river basin gets in between your toes.

This is where you can just stop and be you.

No other considerations.

No other distractions.

You can be you and be real about what matters.

So you lie back and dip your head under the water,

And it glides over your entire body.

All you have to do is relax and let it wash over you.

There's nothing to do but let it all go.

Things start to happen here.

Minerals in the water sink into your skin,

Calming you a little more each second.

You look up,

And the deep blue sky is framed by large white sculptured clouds.

The water is so clean and pure from the mountains,

It is delightful to simply lie in it.

You look at the tree branches that arch up on either side of you,

Lush with green and fullness.

As you receive and relax,

Your heart expands in appreciation.

You are part of everything as the water caresses your toes and fingers and hair.

A few birds emerge and fly in a circular pattern above you and eventually fly off.

You'd like to offer something to someone just because you can.

You start to recall things about your life that you love,

Maybe little moments.

You start to appreciate your loved ones just a little more.

You start to appreciate yourself and maybe in a way that's new for you.

Your life starts to seem like a gift.

You feel abundant and you'd like to offer something out to the world.

You can offer anything.

You consider what you would particularly enjoy sharing with many people,

Something that feels really delightful to give out to others.

It could be extra compassion in a tough moment or a tiny helpless kitten,

An ornate lovingly made cake,

A book with beautiful insights,

The nourishment of this river or deep inner peace.

Give and allow a gift that calls to you to show up.

What would be delightful to give to people,

To the world,

To life?

The water flows over you.

The warm sun glows on your face.

The rich riverbed holds you.

You are part of it all and yet very much yourself.

Feel for the gift you'd like to offer.

And take a moment to allow this gift to feel real.

Conjure it.

When you're ready,

Imagine the gift and see it floating away on this riverbed out to the world.

Whatever your gift is,

Be lighthearted and send it off so it can be received by exactly the right people,

The people who are ready for this gift.

Feel your impact.

Allow your generosity to expand you,

To take you somewhere new.

Let it take over for a few minutes.

For a moment,

You dip your head back into the river and the cool water flows over your eyes and nose and mouth.

It's peaceful here.

You are embraced and nourished,

Loved and beautiful.

As your offering goes out to the world,

You start to be aware that you are not alone.

Your generosity is calling forth playful,

Frolicking,

Somewhat sparkling creatures that are gathering by the edge of the river.

You've opened up a portal of magic and wonder.

So a graceful russet dog sits patiently.

A moss elf with long ears gazes over at her twin companion.

A quiet,

Patient teacher with gray hair sits nearby.

A contented little girl is blinking at you.

A man working on a very important project to himself looks off at the blue sky.

A woman who writes breathtaking music gazes at the water.

You see these beings and take them in.

Perhaps you see others too.

Finally,

You sit up in the water,

Glancing at your wet clothes and smiling.

Your own grace and beauty shimmering within you and around you,

Glowing softly on your skin.

You have so much to offer and you enjoy your connection with all of life.

You are you.

You wander to a tree and sit beneath it to dry off,

Knowing that all is well.

You radiate out your generosity.

You receive goodness in return.

You know life is magnificent and you're a part of that.

Thank you for your generous heart and your beautiful,

Radiant soul.

You look up at the sky and listen to the water flowing and you know all of this to be true.
