In this episode, I continue my discussion about the Archangel Raguel and how to work with him to attract happy, healthy relationships. I also share some background as to how the angels brought me to where I am in my life today. Episode aired April 27, 2017.

Hi friends, This is Gladys. Welcome back to the Heavenly Hugs podcast. Today we will continue our discussion with the Archangel Raguel and attracting happy, Healthy relationships. Hi friends. I'm glad to be talking about the Archangel Raguel once again and continuing my talk with him. The Archangels have been guiding lights for me in my life and I just want to share a question that recently came to me and how the angels have kind of brought me to where I am today. So I had a lady reach out to me and asked me a question with regards to the Archangels and I've seen this often. I talk a lot about the Archangels and I talk about how they can help us in our lives, But I know and understand there are people out there who maybe think or believe or say, Well, Just go to God, Go to God. And I sat with that question and I always, And anybody who knows me knows that I talk about God and Jesus and Mother Mary and the ascended masters and the saints just as much as I talk about the Archangels. And just to go a little further on where I come from with the Archangel, So she asked me this question and asked, You know, If I was, You know, What I was doing was contradicting God's word. And I thought, I found that that was an opportunity for me to kind of sit with that and explore. And over time, You know, I've been doing this almost 10 years, I see that God, Source, Creator, Universe, That energy can be a touchy subject for people. You know, People have had a lot of loss, A lot of challenges, A lot of difficulty. There's blame in that energy. And I have to say when I was going through my depression and I was going through the loss of my grandmother and trying to understand it as a young adult, God, I have to say, Was a sore subject for me. I had pushed anything God related out of my life for, As I had said, Not having the best mentors and teachers in my life to guide me in a healthy way. So I literally blocked all of that out of my life. And I believe that the Archangels are the guides that brought me back to God. So when I talk about the Archangels and I talk about ways that they can help us in our lives and I ask, You know, You to open up, You know, Your hearts and your minds and call them in to help you in your life, I'm coming from a place of, Well, That place that I was in with feeling lost and feeling confused and feeling frustrated and separated. And the Archangel Michael was the first Archangel that was introduced to me and we talked about him last time. And I believe him and the other angels have guided me back to where I am today. So you know, Those people who are out there and you're connected to God and you have this beautiful loving relationship with him, Love that relationship, Appreciate it and honor it because there are a lot of people out there and maybe you out there listening right now aren't in that space with God. And I find that God sends his messengers, The Archangels and these beings of light to come find us, To kind of lead us back to the source. And so when I think about the Archangel Raguel and creating happy healthy relationships with the Archangel Raguel, I knew that I really had to change my relationship with myself and my thoughts about myself and my beliefs about how I let people into my life before I could create happy healthy relationships. So I also believe that the Archangel Raguel helped me create a better relationship with myself because as I've talked about before, You know, I've struggled with eating disorders and abusive relationships and bad jobs and you know, I've kind of gone through these trials and tribulations, But in the point that I'm in now, I don't necessarily see them as bad. I think we talked a little bit about this, You know, In other podcasts. I see it as experiences, Experiences that have led me where I am today. And so yes, I understand it would be easy to say, Oh, We'll go to God and I certainly would be in that place now. But I also see that he knows that not everybody is in that place. Not everybody is, Has that open heart and that open mind and that solid foundation to be able to receive in that space. I think this is where the Archangels come along because for me, They were a lot less scary. You know, I, I felt like I had done a lot of bad things or wrongdoing, So I felt feared punishment from God. And again, This is not necessarily anything about religion. It's more of the belief system in the place that I was in. I was so far from the light that it would have been very hard for me to get back again because of the lack of support and the network with positive mentors and teachers. And remember with lore of attraction like attracts like. So I wasn't in a space that was open to attracting positive, Helpful, Inspirational people in my life. I had people who were taking advantage of me, Who were abusing me, Who were, You know, Helping me help themselves. And so when the angels came into my life, It was kind of a blessing because I felt like I had them to go to. They were these guides that were leading me somewhere. I just didn't know where. And again, I challenged and tested that. So I would start asking for parking spots and I would start asking for, You know, A smooth ride and less traffic. And you know, They come into our lives to help us bring us peace. And so the Archangel Raguel, I believe really helped me help, Help myself. And in a way, He kind of lifted that veil, That veil where I was able to see people's true colors, You know, And still now to this day, You know, People mean well, But not everybody has the best intentions for me. And I understand that. And I believe the Archangel Raguel always has my back or he's showing me people's true colors. Now I have a choice. I can take that in and I can, You know, Make the decisions. I don't want to say I can make my actions based on what I'm feeling. And I can choose, You know, Otherwise I can choose to ignore that. And I find that Archangel Raguel since has brought me back to these happy, Healthy relationships in a way that I believe that I'm worthy and deserving of receiving. And don't get me wrong, I still have, You know, People's true colors come up and out and, You know, I get a little hurt every once in a while by, You know, Things that don't happen the way I expected them or wanted to. But I always know that there's a plan. And so the first part of creating happy, Healthy relationships is creating a happy, Healthy relationship with yourself. And also too, I understand a lot of people, You know, Don't love themselves in a way that allows them to have that freedom, That peace within. And like I said, I was there too. And I would have told you then that I loved myself, I would have told you, Oh, Yeah, I'm happy. But my world was showing me that I was in a way different place from where I wanted to be. So I believe that the angels brought me back to God. I believe that Raguel has helped me believe that I'm worthy and deserving of receiving happy, Healthy relationships. And I believe he's also helped me receive self-love. And from that self-love, I can now set boundaries with people I have learned to be able to give and receive, I have learned to nurture and love myself from a, From a, I'm a person that's learning and I'm not always going to get it right. You know, I always needed to be perfect and do everything the right way. And again, Being so far from where I wanted to be, It created this struggle, It created these challenges in my life. And so we have to remember that Archangel Raguel is the angel of fairness and justice. He's the angel of harmonious relationships. So if you are in a place right now and you're looking around and you're not happy with the people that are around you, Maybe there are lies, Maybe there are deceits, Maybe people who are not in their integrity, You know, That's kind of showing you that you're wanting more. You know, I didn't realize how many toxic people I had around me until I started to love myself a little more until I started to set goals for myself. And I have to say, I feel like my business has really helped me grow as a soul, As an individual. And I think this has been my catalyst and opportunity to kind of expand. So I take what I learn with the information that I get and I help myself with it. So I've been really good at learning lessons through other people. You know, I listen to the messages that are coming. I listen to the guidance that clients are receiving and I take that in myself and saying, Okay, Here are some patterns and here are some thoughts and here are some ideas. And now the point of this whole podcast is to kind of take that and be able to share it with you. And relationship is not easy. The whole idea of relationships is not easy. And I've talked about last time how it's easy to kind of isolate and kind of separate yourself. And you know, Raguel can help guide you and lead you to the people, Places, Things and ideas that will help you flourish. One of the things that I had to work with too is that some people are going to come into my life that are not meant to stick. You know, I've realized that some people come into our lifetimes for the experience. They come in for us to learn a lesson or they come in and they're meant to stick. I had a very hard time because I really like my comfort zone. I like to have people in my life and know that they're a solid foundation and I get really disappointed when the dynamic of that relationship shifts and changes, You know, And so I've kind of separated from attaching and holding on to these relationships and seeing them for what they are. I mean, I'm growing, I'm shifting, I'm changing. You're growing, You're shifting and you're changing and not everybody's going to grow and shift and change in that space with you. So I have learned to kind of take a step back and allow people to kind of come and go and that of course does not mean I don't love them or care for them or feel hurt or disappointed. But what it has done is it's taken the bitterness, It's taken the anger, It's taken the frustration out of this energy of experiences. You know, I had a spirit tell me once that life is like a roller coaster ride and it's not about standing in line or getting off the ride. It is all about the ride itself and there's your I'm never doing this again moments. There is your this is the best time of my life moments and then there are oh God, What was I thinking moments, You know, And this is why, You know, We kind of go through these experiences highs and lows because there's this drive, There's this love, There's this energy out there and we have to connect with people in order to feel alive. So I really feel Archangel Raguel is a very big angel. I feel like he's working now more than ever and bringing people together. I mean, Look at our social media and the way we're connecting with people all over the world. I really believe the Archangel Raguel has contributed to that. He is creating this network of people to connect. He's creating this opportunity for true loves to come and meet. You know, We've kind of gone through these challenges and these experiences and we've kind of moved into our worth and our value. And I believe Raguel is now taking this opportunity to bring soul mates together to bring true love together to raise the vibration of the planet. Now I have to say, I wouldn't have been in this to receive the relationship that I am in now had I not taken the time to work on my relationship with myself, Had I not taken the time to give myself a time out and really think about what it is that I wanted. Now I have to say, I have to admit I had no idea what I wanted. I had never experienced true love. I didn't really have the background or the foundation of happy, Healthy relationships. So how do you get to that place when you don't even know or have never really experienced a healthy dynamic in relationships? And I believe this is where Raguel once again has shined his light and he has brought me to people who were living that. So I could see that and say, Angels, I'd like to experience that in my life. And you know what? They have so many adventures together. I'd like a relationship like that. And please bring that into my life. And what happened is I started to see the dynamics of the relationships in the lives of the people around me change. And I started to see this, These happy, Healthy relationships with people with their friends and going out and doing things with their family and their significant other. And I just sat back and I watched and I observed. And I just felt the energy into those types of relationships compared to the relationships that I was in. And again, This is significant other, This is friendships, This is the family dynamic. And so I asked the angels to show me, Show me what I needed to know, Show me where I was going. And I have to say it was incredibly difficult to not be envious, To not want that, To not be frustrated for the lack that was in my life. But I knew that this light was shining, You know, Moving me forward. I have to say the veil that was lifted with seeing people's true colors, You know, That was hard as well. But it made me closer to God. It made me closer to the angels. And I knew that they were bringing me through something. They were shining their light. They were showing me their way. Raguel, As we talked about, Heals feuds, He heals relationships in miraculous ways. So maybe you're in a relationship right now that is toxic and you're struggling with and that's a challenge for you. And I just asked you to kind of sit back and decide what is it that you want? How do you want to feel? And I have to say one of my mantras when I was struggling in relationships was, I have happy healthy relationships. I'm surrounded by happy healthy relationships. I have happy healthy relationships in my lives. And then I would look around and so say I had a great lunch with a friend or I saw a movie where there was this beautiful relationship blooming or I was out and I, You know, Saw couples out enjoying their time together. I would stop and I would say, God, Angels, I want to experience that in my life. I'd like to have more of that. I'd like to experience that in my life. And so I started to just move from a place of being involved in all this sadness and frustration and separated myself in a place of observing. And it was being able to observe and being able to see that dynamic that existed. And I really believe Raguel brought these people, Places, Things and ideas into my life to inspire me. He's amazing and wonderful in the place that he's in where he can see what it is that we need. And so, You know, My point is that you might be in a space right now where you don't know what you want or you don't, You've never experienced this true love. You've never experienced healthy friendships and you may be feeling a little lonely right now. You may be feeling a little disconnected. You know where you were isn't where you want to be, But you're not yet where you want to be. And so you can ask the Archangel Raguel to bring people, Places, Things and ideas in your life to show you, Show you how you want to feel, Show you what you're worthy and deserving of receiving. He's the angel of fairness and justice, You know, So if you need to be pushed out of a relationship where people are taking advantage, He can absolutely do that. But as I say, With it comes work, With it becomes strengthening yourself, Strengthening your soul. And again, This is all part of the experiencing of human nature. It's all part of the experience of like the roller coaster ride and experiencing all facets of it. Now, I have to say the pain for me or the struggle for me would be it would have to get really bad before I made it, Made any changes or adjustments. Now, As soon as I start to feel uncomfortable, It doesn't go to that place of pain, I start to make the adjustments right away. And I say often the angels want them to be go to as opposed to a last resort. So relationships can be messy and they can be sticky, But they can also be taking from me being on the other side, Amazing and wonderful and successful and you can thrive. And I'm in this place now where I'm surrounded by really great people. I'm surrounded by beautiful souls doing amazing work for the planet and they're in happy places. And I feel like because of that, I'm blossoming like a flower. I'm feeling like I'm opening up like a flower who gets its nourishment, The sunlight, The water, The rain, The soil. I feel like healthy relationships are what help us thrive as human beings. And the root of all this is happy, Healthy relationships. And it starts with yourself, You know, So I encourage you to invite the Archangel Raguel in your life. This stuff does work. And like I said, With that question with that lady, Not everybody's in a place to open to receive God, You know, And for me, The angels were away. They were less threatening. I was more open to it. And I found it was more profound and they brought me back. They brought me back to hope. They brought me back to love. They brought me back to peace. And if you're in this place right now, Again, When I got back in my car after I had my very first intuitive reading, I got in the car and said to the universe, Prove it. What do I have to lose? And it was from that moment on that my life changed for the better. And I just cannot wait to see what comes next. So if you're compiling a list of angels to call on, Raguel would be number one. And we talked about him, One of the top angels, We had talked about his color being sky blue color. He comes in with the justice scale. He comes in with clouds and pictures in the sky, Of the sky, Beautiful sunlight. And remember, That's what really makes us feel good, Right? When the heavens open up and the sun is shining. So let Raguel be that sunshine in your life. Let him be what nourishes your soul so that you can receive the true love and the happy, Healthy relationships that you deserve in your life to thrive. Alright, So today we were talking about attracting happy, Healthy relationships. And before we get into that, And I have questions about that, I just wanted to say that it was really nice to. . . You answered a lot of questions about yourself and about why you use the archangels in the last segment. And I thought that that was really great. I thought that it was nice how you brought all of that back in. I always try to use my experiences into like, Okay, Why am I experiencing this? What's going, What are the lessons that I'm learning from it? And when I received that question, It gave me an opportunity to really think about why I do what I do. And I've been doing this for a long time now and I don't always realize that, Not everybody's always in my head. So to be able to get put out there why I do this and how come, How I found my path this way, I feel can be really helpful. So thank you, Forsch. I think it's a good thing to ask yourself a lot. Sometimes I mean, Why am I doing, Like, What is the reason behind this? What is it? So that was awesome. Alright, So you started with, And the general theme was, If you want to attract a happy, Healthy relationship with somebody else, You have to start with yourself. You have to have a happy, Healthy relationship with yourself. And you specifically started by saying that you wanted to change, You had to change the thoughts about yourself first. How do you go about doing that? First, You have to recognize the negative thoughts that you have about yourself. The first step is admitting that you have a problem. And that's, It's hard. I have to say this is an easy work. And I have to say I've had beautiful people in my life to help me. And again, I believe the Archangel Raguel brought those people into my life. But yet, I had to realize like how much I was putting myself down, How much I was beating myself up, How much I was putting pressure on myself. And from there, I was able to shift and change my perspective on things. It was easy to continue to put pressure on myself and you're not good. And you've got to do more, Say more, Be more, Have more. And now I have to say I'm more conscious of that. And I'm more in the flow with just allowing things to come as they may. That makes a lot of sense. My second question was, You talked about other people and realizing that not everyone had your best interests in mind. Not everybody's, You know, And not that, And you said specifically, Not that they're bad people, Not that they're vengeful, Not that they have, You know, Ulterior motives. Some of them did. But yeah. Some people will and that's horrible, But just the general feeling of, You know, You're not other people's priorities. They are their own priorities or whatever, You know? So do you think that that's really just a focus thing? Like you know, You can't, If you're assuming that someone has bad intentions towards you, But you're just not realizing, Like you have to realize that like they're not, They're not, They have their own life. They're thinking about their own things. They have their own reasons for things. And one of those things I started to realize, Like when were these people reaching out to me when they were in a moment of crisis or they wanted something or they were bored or nothing else was going on in their life or it's the let's go out to lunch and the discussion is, Well, What do you think about this and what do you think about that? And what was happening, I was becoming very depleted on my time. I was becoming very depleted on my energy. And at first I was like, I'm helping people. This is great. But then what happened is it started more and more and more. And sometimes people come into our lives so that we can learn to set a boundary, So that we can learn to say no. And I was just thinking, Well, I'm supposed to help these people and they're coming to me for a reason. And so to be able to take that and say, Hey, Wait a minute, I need to start setting a boundary. I need to start saying no, Thank you. I need to start valuing my time and energy more because then I would go home and sleep. My money was depleted. My energy was depleted. I didn't have a lot of time to do the things I needed to to bring in income. And so I had to at one point stop that crazy train. And that's when I started to realize it's that pain or that uncomfortable feeling that gets you to kind of wake up and saying, Hey, Wait a minute. So that happened to me in 2010. And it was from there that I was ready to just give up. I'm like, I'm not doing this anymore. It's too much. I'm overwhelmed. But I had to realize that I needed to change the ways that I let people talk to me, How I use my energy, How I use my time. And I really took a step back and I kind of went into that space of, Well, Who am I right now and what is it that I want? Right. And I think that's a big thing in the dynamics of relationships. And I have respect for myself now. So I have to say I have respectful people in my life and they have respectful people in their life. And their friends have respectful people in their life. So it becomes this law of attraction energy when you raise your vibration. That's awesome. And you talked about that in the main section of the show about just the need for that vibration to be raised and that like now it seems like people are coming together specifically for that reason. Absolutely. Two questions left. One is kind of nonsensical, But it gets to a question. Life is like a roller coaster. Yeah. Yep. It reminded me of one of my favorite short stories ever. It's in a book by BJ Novak from The Office called One More Thing. And it's called Monster is the name of the short story. And it's about a guy who wanted to design a roller coaster that was based on life. And there's a focus group and they're talking about the ups and downs and how you were really excited at the beginning. Is that so funny? But everybody decides to call it monster because they hate it. So I would highly recommend listening to that or reading it. But it's awesome. But you said specifically something about spirits talking to you when you were talking about that in the episode? So this was somebody's loved one who had passed and he was young and his friend was here. And his friend was trying to understand death and he was having a hard time with losing a friend at a very young age and why. And so his friend was trying to tell him that life is like a roller coaster ride. There's highs and lows and when they get to the other side, It's like getting off the ride. And this is why souls want to come back because life is like a roller coaster ride. And I have to say some people get motion sick when they get off the ride. Some people are like, I'm not doing this again for a little while. And then they kind of come around. So he was trying to say that on the other side, Souls have a choice of when to come back and how to come back. And he wanted his friend to really experience life and to live here, Enjoy the oh no moments, Enjoy the happy, Exciting, Exhilarating moments, Enjoy the what was I thinking moments because that is the experience. And I have to say, Bringing it back to relationships, On roller coaster rides, You usually have a friend next to you and you have a whole car of people who are enjoying the same ride with you. So you can attract these people who are enjoying this exhilarating, Exciting, Scary, I'm never doing this again experience. Awesome. Thank you very much. That was a great explanation of that. You talked about looking at the relationships around you when you were asking for, When you wanted a better relationship, When you wanted to not do the same mistakes that you had in the past. You talked about looking at the relationships around you and noticing the intricacies of them. And then did you then use that as like a roadmap for how you needed to act? Absolutely. I'll tell you one story. I was out at Cellos on the Waterfront in Warwick and there was a couple standing in front of me where her boyfriend was just rubbing her back. They were enjoying the show and he was just rubbing her back. And it made me realize like, Wow, I never experienced that. I was never in a relationship where somebody nurtured me in that way. And I looked in such a, It was such a beautiful moment between a couple. And I remember thinking, God, Send me a guy in my life who does that. And then from there I started to watch all these little things. So I then became the observer instead of the one that came from the wanting and the desire and why not me. And I started to observe and then I started to bank all those emotions. Like, I'd like to experience that. I'd like to have that in my life. I'd like more of that. And the universe started to show me more and I could compile a list of things of how I wanted to feel. And I have to say, That's exactly the relationship that I'm in now with my boyfriend. I have manifested and created that. And I have to say it feels so good. But I had to believe that I was worthy and deserving of that, But I'd never had that. So coming from the place where sometimes we have to use the world as a model to what it is that we want and would desire if we've never experienced it. Thank you so much.
