Thank you. Hey everybody, Welcome to Ask Glenn Anything. That's Glenn Ambrose, He is a life coach. He is here to answer your questions. So my first question that I have for you today, And again, If you guys have questions that you want to ask live, You can just type them in down at the bottom of the screen and Glenn will answer them. And if we don't get to them this week, We will get to them next week. Maybe, If you're lucky. Yes, Absolutely. If you are lucky. So Glenn, My first question is about numbers. A lot of people. . . I was looking at a spiritual group on Facebook and a lot of people talk about seeing numbers come up a lot frequently, Like numbers that they associate with their life in whatever way. Separate from numerology, Obviously, But things of feeling like they're signs when they look at the clock at a certain time or they see a number on a license plate or something. And it means something to them. What are your thoughts on this? Yes. I love when that happens. It happens very regularly with me. There is communication all around us from divine wisdom. There are guides, There are nudges, There are signs all over the place. And I think that if we start. . . In a way, It's kind of been talked about. I don't think people necessarily use this to draw a line to and from what we're talking about. But whatever you seek, You'll find. Knock and the door will open. Ask and you shall receive. These are all things that are saying that like, Hey, If you put your attention on something, You're going to see it. I'll ask for a confirmation of something. When I drove down moving to Florida, I saw my friend John, His signs popping up all over the place. He died when we were like 24. And like two years ago, He's just like, Hey, I'm right with you, Buddy. Showing me his presence. I see stuff like that all the time on a regular basis. I use a confirmation. Hey, If you want me to do this, Show me this. Oh, Look, There it is. I think it's just another way of spirit communicating with us. Or perhaps it's just us communicating with ourselves. Michael Bernard Beckwith said it well. He said, We don't, Or maybe he got it from somewhere else. But I heard him say, We don't have eyes so we can see. We want to see so we have eyes. Like we don't hear because we have ears. We wanted to hear so we developed ears. Like, So that the desire came first and then the manifestation to achieve that desire came second. So he, And to get more specifically to this point, He said, Like when we ask a question, It doesn't change the universe. Like when we say, Hey, I would like to know, I would like to know if my loved one who passed away is okay on the other side. And then we get a signal. Like the universe didn't say, Hey, Glenn asked a question. So if we could send a license plate with 444 on it over to Dominican Republic at 420. Like that's all, What happens? The universe doesn't have to respond to my individual request. What's happening is information is being sent out all the time. It's all the information that exists is in the ether. It's in, You know, The, The divine wisdom it's floating around out there. And when we ask a question, It tunes us into the information that's already being sent out. So it changes us. It doesn't change the information that's being sent to us. So basically it's, You know, When we ask a question, We just tune ourselves into 101 FM answer. And then all of a sudden it appears in our consciousness and we're like, Oh, The universe sent me a sign. It's like, No, There's always signs. We just need to align ourselves with them so we can actually notice them and be conscious of them. Yeah. That's growing up. So that was like one of my mom's favorite, Not favorite, But that was something that she did a lot. She's actually watching the show right now. And I know that because she's texting me a bunch of numbers. She is texting me a bunch of numbers. She said 23, When my sister passed away 20 something years ago my mom saw the number 23 everywhere. She died on the 23rd. It, We went to a wedding or they went to a wedding like that summer and the limo was number 23. And like, There was a story she told me. Yeah. And I, As a nine year old thought that my mom was crazy. I did. She was righter than you knew. I was like, Mom, This is this like, Okay, I get it. Like also there's only nine digits. There are 10, There are only 10 like zero, One, Two, Like there's only, And there's so many combinations. You're going to see, Like if you see them in the middle, You know, I was, I was a nine year old who didn't want any of it. A nine year old skeptic. Yes. And and then I, For whatever reason it burned into my, My father passed away a little over a month ago and it burned in the time that he died, Burned into my mind. Yeah. Which was six 32 in the morning. And every time I, Not every time, But literally like without thinking about it, No matter what I'm doing during the day, Almost every single hour, I will look at the clock exactly on whatever hour that is 32. And it's kinda, It like, It made me mad the first week. It made me mad the first week. Cause it was literally like, I woke up at six 32 and I was mad cause I didn't want to remember it. And then I looked at the clock, Like I was like doing something. And then I looked at the clock and it was like seven 32 and then I'm doing whatever I'm doing. And then I looked back at the clock and it was eight 32 and it was like, Every time I checked the clock and I was very mad. And then after a couple of days I was like, You know what, I'm happy about it. And it feels like he's saying hello. And and so I embraced it a little bit and it's, It's been very nice since then. Yeah. I think it can give us, I think it can give us real great comfort knowing that, You know, Our loved ones aren't gone and they can't communicate with us in certain ways. And you know, And six, Three, Two was the first three digits of my phone number growing up. Very nice. Interesting. Uh, Rachel says, Ooh, Love Glenn shirt. Love you guys. And thanks for your work. Great messages always. Glenn show us that, Show us that shirt. Down to earth, Man. Let's see the back. You got your book on a shirt. I didn't know that. Yeah. Yeah. I, Uh, I thought, You know, I, I had, Uh, I was just looking, I needed some sleeveless shirts to go biking in Florida a while ago. And I was just like, And all the sleeveless shirts are, They're like twice the price of regular t-shirts. So, So I kind of started looking around and, Um, You know, And I, I kinda liked designing my own stuff. So I was like, Hey, Let's play around with some designs. I couldn't think of anything in my book that had recently come out. So I was like, Ah, Maybe I'll see if I can put my book on there. So yeah, I have a blue one with, I don't know what color writing, Maybe white or something. It looks good when I designed it. And I have a gray one with, With blue writing on it. I love it. Uh, So thanks Rachel. So I have a, Uh, I have a topic that we haven't talked about in literally years. I think, Uh, I was going through, I was going through some of the old podcasts, Uh, Lists before the show started, Because I was like, What are some of the, What are some things that we haven't touched on in years? We've been doing life lessons and laughter for almost seven years, Six and a half years. And, Uh, I know that's insane, Right? Uh, We've been doing life lessons and laughter for six and a half years. There are, There are topics that we started at the beginning with, And we haven't covered. And, Um, In a, In a long time, Though, Though a lot of things get covered in aspects. Um, But, Uh, We did a full show on moving on. And my question to you is just to reiterate, Because it's been a long time since I listened to you talk about that aspect of everything. Uh, How do you know when it's time to move on from something that you've been doing for a long time or something that isn't working or you know what I mean? Like no matter what that is, If it's a personal relationship, If it's work, If it's a project or a dream, We did a podcast on this recently. Moving on. Yeah. The podcast was three years ago. No, We did one recently too. Or maybe it wasn't a podcast. Maybe it was just one of these. I think it was a podcast though. Anyway. But so how do you know when it's time to move on? It's I mean, You know, Like one of them, You said when you were asking, It's like, How do you know when it's time to move on when something isn't working? Well, Because it's not working, You know, I mean, There's an aspect of that. That doesn't mean that like every time something gets difficult, You stop, You know, I think, So I think that that's actually a very important piece that might be insightful for people. Um, As opposed to just the normal answers. Um, Like, So when you're doing something, If you're enjoying doing it, But it's not working out, Then usually that means that you need to keep doing it because you enjoy it. And that's the most important thing. You just need to find maybe a different way to do it or a different, You know, Place to do it or a different location to do it. Or, You know, There might be something else that needs to change or you might just have to stick with it and push through a difficult period of time. Um, Because those happen sometimes. So I think, You know, When there is, When we're doing something we're supposed to be doing that is like within us trying to be birthed out when we're, When we're actually doing something that is an alignment with who we are, It's not going to feel crappy doing it. Like, I mean, It can't, You know, Um, We have to really learn to slow down and be honest with ourselves because we can be us ourselves saying that like we can, If we're not careful, We can suck the joy right out of something that we enjoy. You know, People do that all the time. So if you're living spiritually and you're enjoying something, But it's not working, You should probably stick with it. Um, But if you're not living spiritually, I'd recommend talking this out with somebody because I mean, It can get, It can get tricky. I mean, We can, Uh, I've, I've sat there about life coaching and when I don't think I'm going to do this anymore and I know it's my calling, You know, I know it is and I get joy in doing it, But if I let my, My, Um, You know, Sometimes I go through ups and downs too. And if I, If I allow that to start attacking my business, It will attack my business and I can get lost in the pain body for brief periods of time where I'm going, You know, Well, I don't even want to do it anymore, You know, And it's, It's ridiculous. I mean, Of course I want to do it. You know, I get great joy and it's the greatest joy that I really have on a consistent basis. It's very fulfilling and I love doing it. Um, So that's, That's why I said this can be tricky, You know, Navigating this, You might want to talk it out. You got to see, You know, Like what, What is the problem? Most times when I talk to people about like jobs, For instance, I hate my job. I have to leave. Oh, Okay. Well, What do you hate about your job? The whole thing? My job, I had my job, Like, You know, Like I have a job, I go there, I do stuff and then, Uh, And I, Then I come home and everything about it, I hate. Probably not. That's probably not true. That's just frustration speaking. Do you hate the commute? Do you hate what time you get up? Do you hate what time you go home? Do you hate every coworker? Do you hate your boss? Do you hate the things that you do on a daily basis? Do you hate all the things that you do on a daily basis or only some of the things you do on a daily basis? Like this is the stuff that needs to be looked at because we get frustrated. We don't move when we're supposed to. We don't move on when we're supposed to. So we just sit in a frustrating situation until we're so frustrated. We throw the baby out with the bathwater, You know, And it's like there. And then we didn't actually fix a problem because we didn't have clarity on what the problem was. And we probably hurt ourselves in the process because the job was probably fine. You just need to figure out how to set a boundary with your boss, You know? So this is the stuff we have to go through. And then, You know, To, To kind of bring it back to specifically your question, When we know it's time to move on, It's a calming feeling. It's peaceful. It's not, You're not a victim. It's not, It doesn't feel like frustration. Like I just said, I'm sick of this. I'm out of here. No, It's not when it's time to move on and you're ready to move on. It's very calm and peaceful. And you're not blaming anybody for anything because whatever work you needed to do to claim responsibility for your own life, You did it. You did it while you were in that situation. You claim it, You're responsible for your own life. You've worked through, You've learned the lessons you need to learn. And then you just sit in there and you go, Yeah, This just doesn't work. It's time for me to move on. And it's more of a body knowing it's more of a calm feeling. It's, It's not anybody's fault. It's, You know, When you start dropping the blame game, That's when you start getting closer to the truth of knowing something. Yeah. That calm feeling of knowing that it's time to move on from something is like one of the best feelings because before that, Like your, Obviously if you've been talking, If you've been thinking, Not talking, If you've been thinking about like moving on from something or whatever it may be, Like you probably are having some sort of a struggle with it, You know, And then, And then that calm feeling is like a weight has been lifted off of your shoulders. Exactly. And that's what happened. That's what the process looks like when you're doing the work on yourself. When a situation arises, It's for you to learn and grow from, Not to run from. So when a situation arises and the uncomfortability is bubbling up, That's when it's time to go, Oh, Okay. You know, What can I do to work on myself? What can I, You know, Do turn inside, Do the inner work on you? Do I need, You know, And sometimes that's about setting boundaries. Sometimes that's about adjusting your perspective. So, You know, There's different things that it can be, But once you do that work on yourself, Then you're all sudden, If it, If it's time for you to transcend that situation, It's very calm, You know, And, And, And it feels, It really does feel good because you don't have all that fearful indecision going through you. Yeah. I, I don't know that it was the best decision that I ever made, But when I, After four years, I decided to walk away from the, From a business that I built and I loved it and I loved what it did and it helped people and like all of that stuff. And then, And, And but the last year of it was making me miserable, Even though we were doing a lot of good and it was our best year for all of this stuff or whatever. But I was, I was miserable every day, You know about it for different reasons. And and like, It was a hard decision, But then when I thought about it and I was, And I felt calm, I was like, All right, Bye. Yeah. Like I literally was like, Hey, You want, Do you want to just take it? I'll just sign it over to you. You know, Like just take it. That's so important because people get so nervous. This is like a, An example of anxiety. People get filled with anxiety about making change, You know, Because they're not sure and it's fearful and I don't know. And is this the right move? And Oh my God. And, And they get so trapped up in that. And, And, And on top of that, They're like, Oh my God, What's it like, What if I do leave? What if I do move on past this? How's it going to affect them? How's it going to affect me? How's what's going to happen? And it's all this hypothetical BS that is just like, It's non-existent. It's just the theory, You know, So like what happens is when we stop taking, When we take the attention off of the external, What about this? What about that? What I don't, Should I, Shouldn't I, And we turn it inside and do the work on ourselves. We change. And then when that calm comes over us and we move on, It's so different than we thought it was going to be. Because before we get to that place, If somebody goes, Hey, What's it going to be like when you break up with your boyfriend after 10 years? Oh my God, It's going to be heart-wrenching. It's going to be horrible. I don't know how I'm going to live. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Like, Like we live together for eight years. I don't know how I'm going to pay the bills. We have two children together. I don't know what we're going to do. This is horrible. I don't know. And it's all this hypothetical. It's horrible, Horrible, Horrible. And you fear the breakup that isn't even there yet, You know, And then that makes it so, So then you push it off and people will stay in a dysfunctional relationship like that for decades sometimes because of that fear that's built up. But if you let go of all the external, You stop trying to figure out what you're going to do outside and you turn it on inside and you find a way to be happy within yourself, Then one of two things is going to happen. You know, In relationship, This happens in all areas of life, But I think relationships is a good example. In a relationship, Either it's going to get better just because who knows, You know, Sometimes it just does. Sometimes when you work on yourself, You're more of the problem than you realized. Sometimes when you work on yourself, Somebody else can pick up on the more positive energy and start working on themselves. But whatever, Whatever transpires, One option is that the relationship actually gets better and it doesn't end. Why? Because you did the work on yourself and that's all you can control. I don't care how much you think the other person is the problem, Working on them is never going to fix your relationship ever because you can't work on them. That's their job. So they can be 100% wrong and you're still not going to fix them. So just do whatever you need to do to work on yourself because you never know. Maybe the relationship does work out. But if it doesn't work out, If you do the work on yourself, You get to that calm space and then the end that you were so fearful of, What it was going to look like, Doesn't look anything like that. It looks way more amicable. You're way more calm through it. It's way more relaxing. It's way more easier to handle than you ever perceived when you were wrapped up in the fear of the hypothetical thing. You know, So when you get to that place of calmness and you act from that, It's a completely different experience ending a relationship or moving on from a job or anything else than it is before you do the inner work on yourself. So I got to ask because I don't think that we've ever asked it. I don't think I've ever asked it this way. What does work on yourself look like when you say, Because it's a thing that is just taking for granted a lot. When we say that we need to work on ourselves, What the hell does that mean? Yeah. Well, I mean, I guess I think the reason we say work on ourselves is because it can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. So that's a nice general phrase, But it's a good question. I think working on yourself, One, Probably has to, Well, I'm not going to say whether it needs to or whether it doesn't, I'll just list some different versions of working on yourself. So one is meditation to try to quiet the mind and experience some stillness, Break the monotony of the thinking going on all the time. Getting virtual food is a term I use for getting information about looking at things differently. You know, Read books, Listen to audios, Watch shows of people who are teaching about what you want to achieve and what you want to achieve. If you're most, If you're human would be things like peace, Love, Self-love, Self-respect, Happiness, People who teach things like that, You need to listen to them so you can take in different perspectives in different ways to actually accomplish it. So you need to learn how to do that. Talking things out with a life coach or somebody else is very helpful too for your specific situations. Yeah, Meditated prayer helps. Doing, Finding your joy, Getting still enough just to write a list of what brings you joy and then actually doing it, Like actually going out and experiencing the joy by doing those tasks or those events or whatever the heck you found brings you joy. You know, Slowing down and looking at your life and start understanding that you have more control over your life than you realize. So sometimes you need to set boundaries. So you might have to work on setting boundaries with people and saying, No, Don't treat me like that anymore. Or I'm not going to support you anymore. You can get out on your own and find your own way or, You know, Like enabling is just runs rampant in our society. And because we're trying to be kind, Loving, Good people. You know, I say this all the time, Humanity is waking up. Like we all have this inner urge that we want to be kind, Loving people. It's just so new to us to have that as a driving factor. As powerful as it is, We don't know how to accomplish it. We don't even know what being kind and loving looks like. So we need to find that out because being a doormat does not mean you're being helpful. That means you're being walked on. That means you're a doormat enabling people to use you and not become independent and participate in their own life. That is not being a good person. You know, That's enabling people to be less than what they're supposed to be. So like, You know, These are all things we have to look at at our lives and see, You know, Find out about ourselves, Slow down and find out about ourselves and, And learn what brings us joy and happiness and, And start putting energy towards achieving the peace and the happiness that we say we want. Everybody says, Oh, What do you want out of life? I just want to be happy. That's all I want. I just want to be happy. Okay. How much effort have you put into that in the last week? Well, What do you mean? That's my point. You know, People say they want to be happy. People say they want to experience peace. People say they want to be more loving, But nobody puts any energy towards it. They don't, They don't. Because it's, I mean, Even like even life coaching, Like even sometimes, Sometimes with life coaching, As soon as the, As soon as anything hits, Self-care is, Goes last on the priority list. Whenever somebody's life gets difficult, Like not anybody a lot. There are people out there, Not the people who are committed to doing the work. Of course, The more committed you are, The better. But like many times when, When life gets difficult, Self-care goes on the back burner. So like whenever somebody says I was doing fine for a while, I haven't been doing a lot, Doing well in the last couple of weeks, It's like, Okay, How are you doing with your spiritual disciplines? Oh, Well, I haven't really been doing those for a couple of weeks. Huh? Interesting. Happens all the time. You stopped putting energy towards your own peace and your own happiness and you stopped experiencing your own peace and your own happiness. It's a, It's a relationship with yourself that we're trying to cultivate. So, And with your creator. So if you don't put any energy towards creating and maintaining a relationship with yourself and your creator, You're not going to have a good one. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, As you know, I'm definitely one of those people that, Uh, I'm definitely not one of those people that when life gets busy, My self care goes out the window. That's not me. That's not me. I didn't work until after 3am and then wake up at 7am and didn't eat until 4pm today. No, No. What's funny is when I'm talking like I'm just, You know, Channeling stuff. So like I forget like how when I'm saying applies to you most of the time until I stopped talking and then you go, Oh, I'm not like, And I'm like, Oh my God. Yeah. Then totally does that. But I wasn't, I wasn't even conscious of that when I was talking. I worked until three 15 in the morning. Um, And then I went, I had to wake up at seven and then I, And I had an event that was over three hours that lasted until noon. And then I had to leave to go do a funeral. And then I didn't end up at six 32. I just looked at the clock and it's six 32. Uh, I hadn't checked the clock. Thanks dad. Thanks dad. Hi dad. He's right there. Uh, Kind of, Um, And, But, And yeah, And I didn't eat or drink water at all until four o'clock today. Yeah. Yeah. And I went to a breathing meditation and released a bunch of stuff yesterday afternoon and then went over a friend's house after that and watched a documentary about hope for the future. We'll just generalize it as that. Um, And then today got up and then like that was a lot of work that, And I had done some other spiritual work this weekend. So I had a lot of spiritual work I had done. So I, Uh, I actually released a bunch of stuff. I slept 10 hours last night. I was like, I got up, I was like, And I, I woke up and I fell right back to sleep and I woke up, I fell right back to sleep. I'm like, What is going on? Like I was half conscious, You know? And I'm like, I think I, I, I think I'm just really tired or something like, What am I doing? And I finally got up and I was like, Oh my God, I slept 10 hours. And then I worked for a little while and then I went to the beach and grounded, Just really connected, Meditated for a while. Then I came back home eight and then I worked and I'm feeling good because I'm blending work on myself and with my regular work. And it's a wonderful balance. Ben, You really need to try it. Uh, I will do that after I take a nap after this show. I think, Um, You don't have three other shows after this one. I don't know. I do have a phone call that I have to make, But at some point, But, Um, So I just want to say that we only have one more live show next week from the Dominican Republic before, Before your, Uh, Your little stay is over. This is true. Wow. Thanks for bringing that up. And then, And then, So we'll have to switch back to the old graphic for like a month. Yeah. Yeah.
