Hey there,

This is Grayson Cole.

I'm honored to welcome you to this guided meditation,

Jealousy as a Teacher.

Whether you've just listened to the talk,

Or you're arriving for the first time,

I'm grateful you're here.

This practice is about learning to meet jealousy with awareness,

To recognize what it's pointing to beneath the surface,

And gently return to love.

I invite you to take a slow,

Steady breath in through the nose,

And a long,

Complete breath through your mouth.

Letting your body begin to soften,

Feel yourself arrive,

Right here,

Right now.

There's nothing to fix or figure out in this moment.

Just a simple experience of being present with yourself.

I invite you to notice your breath as it moves through your body.

Let it naturally flow.

If it helps,

Silently repeat.

Breathing in,

I soften.

Breathing out,

I allow.

With each breath,

Allowing the shoulders to drop,

The jaw loosen,

And the heart to open just a little more.

Gently bring to mind a moment when jealousy has surfaced for you.

It's not necessary to relive it,

But to simply recognize the energy of it.

It may be subtle,

A flicker of comparison,

A pang of envy,

A story of,

I'm not enough.

See if you can meet that memory or sensation without judgment.

Notice where it lives in your body.

Maybe the chest feels tight,

The stomach clenches,

The mind starts to race.

Just notice.

Breathe.

You're safe here.

You're not the jealousy.

You're the one who is aware of it.

Silently ask yourself within,

What is this feeling really trying to tell me?

Pause and listen.

Maybe it's pointing you to a desire you've denied yourself.

Maybe it's pointing to a fear you've denied yourself.

Maybe it's pointing to a fear of being unseen.

Or maybe there's a longing to express more of your true potential.

Whatever reveals itself to you,

Meet it with understanding.

Say quietly to yourself,

It's okay to feel this.

It's okay to learn from this.

With the breath in,

Breathe in compassion.

And with the breath out,

Breathe out the need to judge or to analyze.

Notice that as you hold this energy in your awareness,

It begins to shift.

The sharpness softens.

The story loses strength.

What's left is simply a sensation.

Energy returning to flow.

Imagine a space in your heart glowing.

Representing a warm light of compassion and understanding.

With each breath,

Let that light expand around to the feeling.

From this point,

You're seeing jealousy not as the enemy,

But as a messenger.

One that says,

There's something beautiful in you that wants to be expressed.

Allow the light to expand.

If it feels natural,

Place your hand over your heart.

Feel its rhythm.

Let that steady beat remind you,

There is love beneath every experience.

Repeating quietly,

I can hold this.

I can learn from this.

I return to love.

Let those words sink into your awareness.

Stay with the breath.

Notice the energy that once felt heavy,

Now becomes space.

Open.

Open.

Calm.

Alive.

I invite you to take another deep breath in through the nose.

And a slow,

Complete breath out through the mouth.

Take notice of how you feel.

Maybe lighter.

Maybe simply more aware.

Jealousy will come and go.

But each time it does,

You know how to meet it.

With awareness,

Curiosity,

And compassion.

I invite you to take another deep breath in through the nose.

As we wrap up here,

I invite you to take a moment to offer gratitude.

For your willingness to show up.

To feel.

And to learn.

May you remember that love is always waiting beneath whatever arises.

And may this awareness guide you through every season of your life.

Thanks for practicing with me today.

I'll meet you again soon.

Namaste.
