This recording is of me whispering gently while lying next to my cat.
Her name is Chai.
She's very calm and she loves to purr.
In this recording you will hear the sounds of Chai purring and gently moving on the floor while she lies in the sunshine on the wooden floor.
Nothing makes me feel more cozy than staying indoors and having a cuddle with my cat.
The sound of a cat's purr is said to help heal bones that have broken.
Having a cat sitting on your lap purring is said to help speed up bones healing after a break.
Chai looks so content as I gently stroke her fur and scratch that little spot on the back of her neck that all cats just seem to love.
Sometimes when the weather is bad and it's raining heavily and cold,
Me and Chai will lie down on the bed and cuddle and nap together.
Cats make the most wonderful companions.
They have so much unconditional love.
I love to sit and gently stroke her fur,
Her beautiful soft tabby cat fur in different shades of browns and orange,
Ginger and white.
There's a white patch of fur just under her chin that she loves to be scratched.
She also loves her belly being rubbed and there's a little patch on her fur where the colours are different to the rest of her body.

I can see her little toe beads all small and pink.
Cats are so good for relaxing with.
They seem to know how to enjoy sleeping,
Gazing at nothing and just lazing in the sunshine all wrapping up cosily in bed and waiting for the good weather to come.
