In this guided 3-minute meditation session, we allow our body, speech, and mind to settle into their natural states. Inspired by the teachings of B. Alan Wallace, in this practice, we first allow our body to relax and release any tension we might be holding. Next, we allow our internal dialogue to quieten and fall into a natural state of silence. Finally, we allow the mind to settle into its natural un-configured state of peace, luminosity, and non-conceptuality. A perfect practice to begin a longer meditation session or before any task requiring focus and concentration.

For this three-minute session,

We will be focusing on calming our body,

Speech and mind.

We begin with our body,

Taking a moment to relax,

Releasing any tension we might be feeling in the body,

Noticing any sensations in our body,

And letting the body fall into its natural state.

Then we turn our attention to the speech,

Not our verbal speech,

But our internal dialogue,

The voice in our mind,

And we take a moment to acknowledge that,

And let it recede into its natural state,

Knowing that we can come back to it after our session.

And finally,

We come to our mind,

Where we acknowledge all of the mental proliferation about the past,

The future,

And we acknowledge them and let them be,

Letting our mind settle into its natural state.
