So I invite you all to close your eyes or lower your gaze.
Take a deep breath.
Breathe out.
I invite you to please just get comfortable where you are.
Maybe place one hand on your heart,
Another on your stomach.
Allow yourselves to feel held by yourself.
Really feel what it feels like to be held by somebody who loves you.
And proof that you love yourself is that you are here right now doing this meditation.
And behind you to your left,
Please see your biological mother.
And if you don't know what she looks like,
That's okay.
Please just see her energy.
And behind you to your right,
Please see your biological father.
And if you don't know what he looks like,
That's okay.
Please just see his energy.
Standing behind you are your parents.
Please make space for whoever else may have brought you up.
Adoptive parents,
Caregivers,
Whoever else raised you or had a part in raising you.
And then just noticing in yourself what arises in your body.
Does it feel good to have your parents behind you?
Does it feel uncomfortable or painful?
Just noticing,
Not judging.
Noticing all that you feel,
All that's coming up.
And then just saying yes to it all.
Yes,
I feel this way.
Yes,
This is coming up.
Maybe there's resistance.
Saying yes to the resistance as well.
Yes,
I don't want to do this.
Yes,
I don't want to feel this.
Just noticing everything and allowing it to be there.
And breathing in and breathing out.
