Transcript

Hello.

In this meditation,

I will be guiding you through the process of shutting and releasing anything no longer serving you.

Begin by finding a comfortable posture,

Either seated or lying down,

Letting your gaze soften or closing your eyes,

And take a slow,

Deep breath in,

Followed by a long,

Releasing breath out.

Let's do that again.

Inhale deeply,

And as you exhale,

Allowing your body to soften.

Now bring your awareness to the top of your head.

Imagine a warm,

Golden light gently touching your scalp,

Melting away any of the tension.

This light moves down,

Relaxing your forehead,

Smoothing the space between your eyebrows.

Your jaw softens,

And your tongue rests lightly against the roof of your mouth.

As this soothing light moves down your neck and shoulders,

You feel all tension releasing from your neck and from your shoulders.

With each breath,

They soften towards the surface beneath you.

Now,

Feel the warmth of this light travel down your arms,

Into your hands,

All the way to your fingertips.

Soft,

Relaxed,

At ease.

Bringing your awareness to your chest,

Feel your breath flowing in and out naturally.

Each inhale fills you with calm,

While each exhale carries away anything no longer serving you.

Inhaling calm,

And exhaling,

Releasing anything you no longer need.

Feeling your stomach soften as your breath flows naturally and with ease.

The light continues to move down through your hips,

Thighs,

And knees.

Notice any tension dissolving here,

Leaving you feeling grounded and relaxed.

With every breath,

Your entire body is bathed in this soft light,

Completely at peace.

Now,

In your mind's eye,

Imagine yourself in a warm sunlit clearing.

There is a soft breeze.

The ground beneath you is cool and earthy.

You feel safe,

Held by the land,

And supported by the universe.

As you take a step forward,

You notice a beautiful serpent gliding gracefully across your path.

Her colors shimmer in the light,

Iridescent greens,

Deep blues.

She moves with ease,

Effortlessly in sync with the earth's rhythm.

There is nothing to fear here.

You instinctively know this snake is a guide,

A symbol of transformation,

Of renewal.

You watch as the serpent pauses and begins to shed her skin.

Slowly,

Gently,

The old layers release,

Effortlessly.

There is no resistance,

Only surrender to the process.

As the skin peels away,

A new vibrant layer is revealed beneath,

Fresh and radiant.

Now bring your awareness to yourself.

You too are ready to shed what is no longer serving you.

Imagine an old layer of yourself.

Old stories,

Outdated beliefs,

Past experiences,

Loosening and lifting away,

Just as the snake's skin that is ready to be shed releases with ease.

With each breath,

Let go.

With every exhale,

Feel a layer dissolving,

Melting away like mist in the morning sun.

Perhaps there is something specific you are ready to release.

Fear,

Self-doubt,

Old wounds.

Visualize it peeling away,

Falling gently to the earth,

Returning to nature.

No longer yours to carry.

Feel the lightness that remains.

A new version of you is emerging.

Clearer.

Free.

Renewed.

You are stepping forward with ease,

With grace,

With trust in your journey.

Take a moment to rest in this feeling of freedom.

Breathe it in.

Let it fill every cell of your being.

Now slowly begin to bring awareness back to your body.

Feel the ground beneath you,

The air against your skin.

Wiggle your fingers and toes as you invite movement back.

Take a deep breath in and sigh it out.

When you feel ready,

Gently blink your eyes open if they were closed,

Looking around the space that you're in as you return to the present moment.

Feeling lighter,

Clearer,

Renewed.

You have shed what no longer serves you.

Amazing! so many people are afraid of snakes. I am a fan, and I never thought to do a renewing meditation with a visual like this! It was excellent! I will be adding this to my rotation for sure!
