07 One Step Of Courage Commentary

It takes courage to face a challenge which is new to me.

It takes courage to take a step into the unknown.

It takes courage to let go of what I am familiar with.

It takes courage to say goodbye to my comfort zone and to step beyond the boundary.

As we pass through from day to day,

New experiences await for us,

But yet,

If I have the courage to face,

The courage to move forward,

It is then that I will be able to have the right to the help and the support of you,

The Supreme.

Sometimes there are things I need to face within myself.

Sometimes there is something I need to let go of or transform within my own self,

And I may feel that it is beyond my strength.

I am unable to do it,

But when I remember your promise of help,

It gives me the encouragement to try with faith,

With conviction to do the right thing,

To apply the method of spiritual growth,

To apply spiritual principles in my life,

No matter how hopeless I may seem,

No matter how difficult my circumstances may be,

But I know that if I maintain courage in my heart and try to do the right thing,

Your help comes a thousandfold towards me.

It is this promise which enables me to find the hidden path to freedom from a difficult situation.

You remind me that in this formula,

In this promise,

It is my responsibility to take the first step,

And it is this that then activates all the help that comes from you.

I also know that my courage is based upon my faith,

My faith in myself,

My faith in you and my faith in the process and the principles of spirituality,

And so without needing any guarantee,

Without needing to check,

Let me just continue to move forward in my life,

Keeping courage as my constant companion,

Rather like the mountaineer who moves forward one step after another with courage.

I too face life with courage,

Knowing deeply within my heart your help will come automatically at the right time.

It takes courage to step forward,

But yet it is the wings of courage that will allow me to reach the top of my own personal mountains.

Your help will lift me to heights that I have never achieved before.

This formula,

This promise of yours is a gift.

No matter how challenging my situation is,

Courage is the key to change,

And with your help I know that nothing is impossible.
