Echoes on the Breeze, one of the Bedtime Stories for Adults with Ipek series, follows Mary, who stands atop a hill each night, sending her worries into the air on paper notes. As the wind carries her fears into the valley below, she learns to trust life’s unfolding and embrace the promise of tomorrow. This calming narrative invites you to release what you cannot control and rest in the knowledge that each new dawn brings fresh possibilities. Bilateral Harp Track by Liborio Conti

BEDTIME STORIES FOR ADULTS WITH IPEC WILLIAMSON ECHOES ON THE BREEZE Mary climbed the hill just as the moon cleared the treetops.

With her came a stack of folded papers,

Each one scribbled with a fear she carried.

The weight of unmet goals,

The ache of uncertain relationships,

The hum of what-ifs buzzing in her mind.

She pinched one knot between her fingers and watched the night breeze spiral around her.

When she let it go,

The paper lifted and twirled,

Drifting beyond the edge of the cliff.

Mary held her breath until it vanished from sight.

In that instant,

A surprising lightness settled in her chest.

The act wasn't magic,

But it became a ritual,

A way to remind herself that burdens could be loosened if she simply released them.

Over the course of a week,

Mary watched her hillside fill with ripples of white as each note caught the wind.

Some notes landed near the river,

Skimming over the water's surface.

Others drifted toward distant rooftops,

Slipping into places she would never see.

She trusted that each worry would find its own resting place,

Carried anywhere the breeze directed.

One evening,

As she prepared to send off her latest burden,

A single paper returned,

Drifting down gently at her feet.

In unfamiliar handwriting,

She read,

No name or address.

Only those four simple words.

Mary tucked the note into the pocket,

Her heart swelling with the knowledge that,

Sometimes,

Support arrives when you least expect it.

In the nights that followed,

She began adding another practice,

Writing small hopes and dreams on pastel pages and sending them skyward.

Watching those bright slips swirl into darkness filled her with a quiet excitement.

She realized that hope and fear could travel the same path,

And that the wind carried both with equal grace.

As you close your eyes tonight,

Imagine your own notes lifting on the breeze,

Each one a promise that you are capable of navigating what comes next.

And let echoes on the breeze remind you that release opens space for hope,

And that tomorrow's breeze may carry in new joys you have yet to name.

From my heart to yours,

With all my love and gratitude.

Namaste.
