Each morning we wake up, we have the opportunity to begin anew, to start again. We have choices, and the powerful ability to choose how we approach and move through our day. This morning meditation combines guided visualization + emotional attunement, designed to remind us that we can create our experience, and have a beautiful day. I AM affirmations gently close out this practice, with hopes to leave you feeling refreshed and confident to Begin Anew.

Transcript

The sun is rising,

And the day has begun anew.

It is early in the morning for me,

So I am sharing this meditation inspired by the feelings of a brand new day.

Get yourself comfortable,

Whether you're lying down or sitting in a chair.

No matter where you are,

Right now we are together,

And we are going to have the most beautiful day.

Let's start with some refreshing breaths to cleanse our night away and make room for the day ahead.

Take a nice breath in and exhale to let it go.

Let's do another deep breath in.

Take a little pause to hold that breath and exhale,

Slowly release.

For our next breath,

Let's do it with a sense of gratitude.

Our breath is our life force,

Always there,

And our beautiful physical body,

Sustaining us and keeping us alive.

We'll take this breath in gratitude,

Easy and slowly.

Deep breath in and a gentle sigh to release.

Today is a brand new opportunity.

Today we have the chance to create,

Respond,

React,

Reflect,

Converse,

Inspire,

Be in gratitude,

Receive,

And simply be.

Today we have choices.

Let's for a second imagine that it's later this evening and somebody asks you,

How was your day?

And you respond,

I had an amazing day today.

What actions would you take that allow you to get there,

To feel there?

Now,

Picture yourself moving through your tasks.

Maybe it's getting up to get dressed,

Making some breakfast,

Heading out for work,

Or doing some chores around the house.

What would that look like for you if you did things a bit differently today?

Maybe that calls for a reframe of our to-do list.

What if you took one thing you don't particularly like to do and you approach that theme with a feeling of gratitude and optimism,

Seeing it in a new way rather than I have to go to work today.

Maybe I get the chance to go to work and for that I am grateful.

Subtle shifts in our perspective can do the most for us in our day.

I'm going to leave some time for you to visualize moving through your day as your most loving,

Grateful,

Joyous,

Unconscious self.

And as you move through this movie of your day,

Feel yourself.

How would you feel?

How would you move?

How would you speak?

How would you react?

I'll call you back in just a couple of minutes.

≥ Today is a beautiful opportunity,

Inviting us to show up as our most radiant selves.

We have choices,

And we choose how we approach and move through our day.

Before we move on and get on with our tasks,

I'd like to close out this practice with a few I Am affirmations.

If they resonate with you,

Feel free to speak them aloud or in your mind.

And if they don't,

Simply let them pass by.

I am the creator of my life.

I am open to possibility.

I am abundantly grateful.

I am choosing to move through my day with ease,

Showing up as my most joyous and loving self.

I am unlimited,

Expansive,

And free.

I am a beautiful being.

And I am worthy of having a perfect day.

Let those settle into your subconscious.

Or take a moment to speak a few to yourself.

Wherever you are,

And wherever you are headed,

I honor you and the experiences that you will create for yourself with a brand new opportunity to begin anew.

Nice pace and voice. I always appreciate starting with deep breaths too and finishing eith affirmations. I liked visualizing my day, I think the prompts were so good that it’d have been great to have them for goal visualization as well. Thank you !
