Hello and welcome back to another recording here on Insight Timer.
If you win the morning you will win the day.
This is a gentle uplifting morning meditation practice that you can use to open your day with presence,
Peace and purpose.
So let's find a comfortable place,
Take a moment to grab any pillows,
Cushions or anything you need to make yourself as comfortable as possible.
You can even do this practice from your bed.
Allow the eyes to soften as you close them to your external reality and open up to your internal dimension.
Welcome yourself to the internal experience.
And as you lay here begin to notice your breath,
Simply just observe it.
No need to alter it,
No need to fix,
No need to adjust,
Just simply be.
Imagine for a moment that the next breath that you take is the first breath of the day and as the Sun rises on a new day this breath symbolizes the infinite possibility of the dawn.
Each inhale creates space within your reality,
Space to grow,
To open and to awaken.
Notice how the morning light of the Sun begins to grace your skin,
Gently brushing your face with his soft heat.
The morning light expands into your body,
Filling it with fresh vitality and purpose.
With each exhale feel a softness wash over the body,
Releasing and letting go of the day before.
You slowly begin to feel yesterday dissolving into the distance.
Each inhale is an expansion into the Sun that rises on this new day and each exhale is a letting go of what was.
The dawn of the morning offers an endless possibility and you stand in front of the Sun knowing that today I can do anything,
I can be anything and I can create anything.
The morning is a threshold,
A beginning,
A doorway into a new possibility and as you stand in front of the rising Sun feel the truth of this moment.
Today I choose.
Today I can create.
Today I will grow,
Shift,
Soften and open.
Today I will step into the highest version of myself that I know to be true.
For you are not bound by yesterday,
You're not defined by the past,
This breath is new,
This moment is new and you're new within all of it.
Take a slow inhale,
Hold at the top and a long gentle exhale out through the mouth,
Clearing space for the day to enter.
And as we close off this experience,
You can silently repeat the words back into your mind.
I meet this day with presence.
I meet this day with openness.
I meet this day with love.
Take one more full breath in and a slow grounding breath out.
We begin to wiggle the fingers,
Wiggle the toes,
Gently invite movement back into the body and when it feels right,
Allow the eyes to open.
The day is here.
Walk into it slowly,
With steadiness,
With breath and with your heart guiding your every step.
