Hello and welcome to meditation time. My name is James Whiticar. Today, we will be meditating on Matthew 17:20. This verse deals with the power of faith. In Matthew 17:20 in the Amplified version it says, He answered, “Because of your little faith [your lack of trust and confidence in the power of God]; for I assure you and most solemnly say to you, if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and [if it is God’s will] it will move

Hello and welcome to Meditation Time.

My name is James Whitaker.

Today we will be meditating on Matthew 17-20.

This verse deals with the power of faith.

In Matthew 17-20,

In the amplified version it says,

He answered,

Because of your little faith,

Your lack of trust and confidence in the power of God.

For I assure you and most solemnly say to you,

If you have living faith the size of a mustard seed,

You will say to this mountain,

Move from here to there,

And if it is God's will,

It will move,

And nothing will be impossible for you.

If we have faith,

And if it is God's will,

Anything is possible.

It takes faith as small as a mustard seed.

Our lives are full of difficult times and hard things to get through,

And those things can feel like mountains.

If we have faith,

And if it is God's will,

We can simply ask and it will be moved.

In all situations,

We need to pay attention to the Holy Spirit's leading,

And pray for Him to guide us.

If you follow His leading,

You will know which mountains to move,

And He will give you the faith to do it.

Let's do some breathing as we transition into a time of prayer and meditation.

In through your nose,

Long and deep,

Out through your mouth,

Long and slow.

In through your nose,

Long and deep,

Out through your mouth,

Long and slow.

Gently close your eyes.

In through your nose,

Long and deep,

Out through your mouth,

Long and slow.

In through your nose,

Long and deep,

Out through your mouth,

Long and slow.

Let your breathing return to its normal rhythm.

Let's pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for being a loving God who gives us strength.

Thank you for the ability to move mountains.

May we have faith to do what we need to and follow your leading.

Calm our hearts,

Calm our minds,

Calm our bodies,

And calm our breath.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

Let's take some time as the music plays.

Pray and meditate on Matthew 1720.

Ask what mountains need moving and ask for the faith to do it.

Seek Him and you will find Him.

Pray and meditate on Matthew 1720.

You you you you you you you you you you you you you let's close in prayer Dear God,

Thank you for the time we spent with you today Thank you for the Holy Spirit's guidance in our lives May we continue to listen and move as you tell us to Please give us the faith to move mountains In Jesus name,

Thank you for taking Matthew’s powerful message of Christ’s words and creating a recording that i can listen to often (fyi technically the audio was very low) 🙏🙏🙏

Going through some long term spiritual battles and new ones popped up this week. I know God is the only one who can move these mountains for my family. Thank you for this meditation. It was sorely needed. God bless you.
