They say that grief is simply love with nowhere to go,
But what if grief is love with the potential to go everywhere,
To your departed one in another realm,
To yourself as you comfort yourself in your new norm,
To others who deserve the greatness of your love?
What if channeling your love in new ways is the way through grief?
What if you remind yourself you are a vessel of love?
As in 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 3 to 5,
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
The Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
Who comforts us in all our troubles,
So that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ,
So also our comfort abounds through Christ.
