Welcome to a moment of seated meditation.
I'm going to take the mudra of Vajra Pradhamma,
Vajra the lightning bolt,
The thunderbolt,
Directly deep into the heart center,
Interlace the fingers,
The thumbs go up,
And taking that expression of clarity and certainty deep within the wisdom of the heart.
The thumbs point up toward the collar bones,
Elbows spread and go heavy.
Lift up,
Up through the crown of the head.
This brief moment of coming to sit,
Coming to clarity in our heart,
Diving back into this place that actually holds all the wisdom that we're looking for.
Close the eyes,
Soften the jaw,
Soften the throat,
But lengthen through the back of the neck.
As if all of your eyesight,
All the outward looking can go inward toward that beating of your own heart.
We tune in to everything exterior,
Looking for answers.
This is a brief moment to go interior into this deep wisdom we hold.
Taking that brief journey inward,
Listening intently.
What is this heart longing for?
For me,
A sense of ease,
Alignment with my actions.
Five more breaths.
And then opening the eyes,
Hands come to prayer at the heart,
We take this power of connection to the heart and seal it between our hands.
For me,
This reminder that I will commit again and again to listen to my heart,
To bring forth whatever I touch with my hands,
My heart's intention.
And that might sound big and overwhelming,
But these reconnects that we can have just along the middle of our day,
Moving throughout our rhythms,
Our rituals,
Bringing our heart's longing into that,
Bringing our heart's deepest action into that.
This is what Vajrapradhamma,
In this momentary pause,
To go inward.
This is what I'm offering to you,
Wishing for you throughout your day,
As I stop and pause throughout my day and remember what it is that I'm actually up to.
So thank you for joining me and the kangaroos,
And we'll see you along this path.
Om Namaste.
