And you might be aware of the surroundings you're in and you can just let that be a signal that the one who's aware of your surroundings,
That one has full permission in this moment to stop,
To open and to drop down inside really deeply.
And you might be aware of the sound of my voice.
And you can use that as another signal to see if you can find what it is that is aware of my voice.
And what if that one would stop and open and let itself fall back and down inside really deeply.
And you might be aware of a sensation deep inside and that can be another signal that you can actually follow that sensation with your mind down and in to an unknown place inside.
And as you follow this sensation down and in,
You can just let your mind take you all the way through.
And I wonder what it would feel like if you imagine that you fell out the bottom out into open space and in this open space there was the possibility for you to go anywhere you want and in this experiment I'd like to invite you to imagine yourself going to a beach and I don't know what beach it is,
It can be any beach,
A beach you've been to before or maybe just the perfect beach in your mind.
And you can imagine yourself walking down this beach and maybe you can feel the grains of sand between your toes and maybe you can hear the sounds of the waves lapping against the shore.
Maybe you can smell and taste the salt air and maybe you can even feel the warm kiss of the sun on your skin and it might even remind you of a holiday you once went on or a time that you were at a beautiful beach somewhere and even if it doesn't remind you,
You can just let this create a new memory.
And so you can imagine yourself walking down this beach and I'd like to invite you now to imagine what it would be like to find a spot in the ocean,
In the water,
That's really kind of shallow,
Really safe,
No waves,
Very calm and imagine yourself getting into this water and the water is just the perfect temperature for you and you can lie down on your back and you can float and I don't know if you've ever floated before but it can feel so good to lie back and to make no effort and just as you're being held up by the chair or the couch or wherever it is that you're sitting right now and that chair or couch is being held up by the floor and the floor is being held up by the ground and the ground is being held up by the earth and the earth is floating in space and so just like that you can float in the ocean and feel what it feels like to make no effort and to allow the ocean to hold you and it could feel so good to just let yourself be held in that way and I don't know if you can imagine that swimming underneath you is a turtle and this turtle,
I don't know how old it is but it's old enough that it's a female and it's coming to the beach for a very special reason.
The turtle doesn't know really what the reason is but the turtle feels completely called from some mysterious place inside,
Called for this unknown mysterious need to get up onto the beach and to find a spot that feels right and to dig a hole and in that hole this turtle turns around and lays her eggs and she doesn't know what it means to be a mother or what it means to reproduce,
She doesn't understand the science,
She doesn't know how these young ones will survive,
She just simply does what it feels right to her in her nature and she lays these eggs and she buries them in the sand and when she's finished burying them she pats it down and she crawls down back to the water and swims away and sometime later those eggs will hatch and out of these eggs come these little baby turtles and the little baby turtles are buried under the sand and yet somehow just minutes old they already know to climb up to the surface.
They don't consciously know it,
They don't have a conscious mind at this time but something in their subconscious is letting them know to go up to the Sun,
To go up to the air and once they're out of the sand something's telling them to go down to the water and they don't walk in the opposite direction,
Something pulls them.
Some scientists say that it's magnetic fields,
Some scientists say it's the sound or the smell but whatever it is,
Some deeper intelligence inside these baby turtles know exactly which way to go and so they start walking and suddenly out of the sky swoops down these birds and of all the dozens and dozens of baby turtles the birds capture one,
Two,
Three,
Grab them and eat them and take them to their little baby birds and feed their baby birds and yet still these little baby turtles they run,
They go as fast as they can down to the water,
They don't take it personally,
They just go for the water and once they're in the water they have to go through another gauntlet of fish,
Sharks coming to feast on the baby turtles and out of the dozens and dozens of baby turtles some of them get captured and eaten to feed those sharks and those fish but a good number of baby turtles make it out into the ocean and there they are by themselves with no idea how to survive and yet they don't need to know because subconsciously in their nature it's all there,
Everything they need,
Which currents to follow,
Which food to eat,
Which food to avoid,
It's all there naturally without needing to think about it and at some point they will grow up and they will get older and they will mate and the cycle will continue as the female turtle goes back to the same beach to lay her eggs and these cycles of life are going on all the time all around us,
Intertwining with each other,
The cycle of the birds,
All overlapping and intertwining and happening without any thought needed,
Quite naturally and I don't know what this means to you and the beauty is that it doesn't even have to mean anything to your conscious mind because something deep inside can relate,
Something deep inside has the same intelligence,
The same natural intelligence of all of these creatures of the earth,
You have that same intelligence inside and you don't have to make any effort for it,
It's already there,
All you have to do is be as quiet as possible,
So quiet that this natural intelligence can express itself without even needing to think about it and so you can imagine yourself getting out of the water,
Back onto the beach and you can imagine yourself coming back up into space,
Back up into your body and you might feel the chair or the couch underneath your legs and you might hear the sound of my voice a little bit clearer and you can imagine yourself coming back into the appearance of this world and this body and you can notice that in a moment you can open your eyes and that inside you can stay just as calm and just as floating,
That's the word,
That even with your eyes open you can float,
You can let your conscious mind float in the sea of unconscious intelligence,
Subconscious intelligence,
Now I don't know what that feels like for you but you can test it out and see what happens if I open my eyes and I stay floating with no effort,
Nothing to do,
That's really good,
Thank you.
